We booked our private tour 2 days ahead. They picked us up at the hotel. Transport was nice and clean. The driver was ready and waiting for us all the time. Our guide Volkan was really passionate about the history and explained everything in detail. He also gave us some other interesting trip ideas. We customized our tour on the go with no problem. He took us to Ephesus, archeological museum and to the temple of Artemis which we decided to visit. He also offered us to visit local pottery shop. It was a nice and interesting family business. Lunch was at a small local business with simple but tasty food. Definitely recommend.

We had the privilege of being guided by Oznur from Kusadasi to Ephesus. She was very knowledgeable; with stories, history, and myths at every stop along the way. She picked us up at the port and guided us throughout the day. She was extremely friendly and we had an amazing time! She was one of the best guides we’ve had while traveling through Europe.

Oznur was an amazing guide! She met us just outside the port, and away we went with her and our driver to see the sites. We really appreciated Oznur’s expert knowledge and sensitivity to our needs. The traditional Turkish lunch was authentic and delicious, too. Thank you, Oznur for the best day we could ever imagine.

Ceyla was AMAZING and took such good care of us. It's great to have a former archeologists as a tour guide. We fit so much into one day! Learned so much about Turkey. Tour was exceptionally personable and private. Great Mercedes tour van was an added bonus. Would HIGHLY recommend! Note that admission to some of the sites wasn't included and we knew that going into it. Having some cash on hand will help also.

Had an amazing full day tour yesterday! Our guide was born and raised in the area and was truly a local expert. We enjoyed his commentary and had a great lunch with homemade local food. I didn’t realize there would be a rug making demonstration, but we enjoyed the brief visit to the shop where we saw various rugs being made. Low pressure environment and I’m pretty sure we could have skipped it if we wanted. I would recommend this company! They were punctual and we opted for a private tour coming off the cruise ship.

We spent a fabulous day. Ceyla was our guide and she helped us during our excursion. I highly recommend this company. Ephesus is an amazing place that worth visiting.

This was a wonderful experience. We were able to modify our itinerary to include sights we had not seen before. Our guide, Ceyla, was excellent in every way. She was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything clearly in perfect English. In addition, she is a trained professional archeologist. She is very nice and an excellent conversationalist. This was our third tour with Hello Ephesus, and we hope to use them again soon.

Loved the PMD tour, guide was very knowledgeable and has a clear passion for history. Priene was my favourite site.

Our tour of Ephesus and Sirince was perfectly planned and thoughtfully organized. We avoided all of the lines while seeing everything that we wanted to see. We were very thankful to have done the tour with our guide as she was very knowledgeable about the history but also the area, so she made sure we avoided most of the heat, crowds, and other time wasters. Definitely the best tour we had in Turkey.

Today my partner and I went on the Ephesus Exclusive Tour run by Hello Ephesus. On the tour you have the opportunity to visit the Ancient City of Ephesus (including the Terrace Houses), the Temple of Artemis, the House of the Virgin Mary, and Ephesus Archaeological Museum. Lunch is also included at Heirloom Weaving Centre (where they make amazing Turkish rugs by hand). They are able to cater for vegetarians and vegans - which is great considering how hard it can be to find good options! We couldn't have asked for a better experience touring the area and learning about the history behind Ephesus. Our guide, Volkan Bikmaz, was very knowledgeable and made it a day that we won't forget!

This was my first time in Turkey and was nerves about not booking though the cruise ship and booking my own tour. I am so glad I picked Hello Ephesus! It started with their knowledgeable staff who answered all my emails quickly. When the cruise changed port day, they were quick to reply that it was not a problem to switch days. But the best part was our amazing tour guide, Tugrul Sezgin! He is very knowledgeable about Ephesus, the area and Turkey itself. He made it the best tour I have ever been on. Because of him, we will defiantly visit Turkey again.

Our party of 4 was met at the cruise terminal by our guide Arzu. We were all 30 minutes early so we were able to get a head start on the big tour buses and other private tours. Arzu was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. She spoke perfect English so communication was never a problem. Our vehicle was a late model Mercedes Viano van. Very comfortable and the driver (I think his name was Adnan) was very capable and we were very confident in his driving, especially in the twisting roads around the mountains. Everything about this tour was great, from the fantastic Ephesus ruins to the old village of Sirince, Virgin Mary’s house, to the wonderful lunch that was included. We also visited a rug making centre. It was amazing to see how they are made. They had some great rugs for sale but none of us were in the market. All in all a great tour. And less than half the price of the ship’s tour with a 50 seater bus!
