      War graves
Beautiful cemetery, very well kept and interesting to read the gravestones. Most of these men were young when they died . So sad . Good to see the memorial too .

      Amazing experience visiting Gallipoli
We have just finished our private 2-day tour from Istanbul with Hassle Free Travel to Gallipoli/Çanakkale and we absolutely LOVED every second of it. We were SO INCREDIBLY fortunate to have the services of a wonderful guide (Ercan Yavuz) who was just amazing! When we first booked this tour, we knew roughly what we wanted to do but Hassle Free also made recommendations to us, which we gladly went with. As an Aussie family of 4, it was important to us to visit not only the sites that are so well known back home but also to visit other locations and pay our respects to all of those who fought. Whilst we managed to get in a huge amount over the 2 days, it has left us wanting to come back and do more. The sites associated with the Gallipoli Campaign were just incredible and to get a first-hand glimpse at these locations was unforgettable. Adding on to that was the fact that we were able to visit Troy/Troia on the first afternoon, which we all just loved! Our guide Ercan was such an incredible part of our experience and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND requesting his services. His love and passion for what he does is obvious at every given moment - it is clear he wants visitors to have 'the experience' but he wants to ensure everyone leaves feeling completely satisfied. One of his first questions was whether we had any immediate connection to men who had served and whether we had a desire to find a particular resting place. When I mentioned that my great grandfather had come ashore on 25th April 1915 and which regiment he had served in, he knew and had immediate insight into things to see and places to go. As a History teacher myself, I feel like I have a good background about the locations of Gallipoli and what took place in each but his insights and specialised knowledge truly blew me away. He always wove tales of his experiences as a guide, working with different individuals, families, large groups and foreign dignitaries into what he shared with us at the many sites we visited. He would often share anecdotal stories from the time of the events in 1915, giving us a closer connection to the men serving at the front. Ercan was also incredibly warm and good with our teenage boys; he made sure to offer accounts of situations that could allow them to appreciate the horrors of the conflict for both sides whilst also helping them to more fully appreciate why the events mattered so much for all nations involved. He really did an amazing job and I would GLADLY go on another tour with him if I were even given the opportunity. Just as a little side note - the transportation from Istanbul was great...very easy and convenient in terms of pick up and drop off. Everything was very well organised in regards to food (lunch both days was delicious) ferry transportation across the Dardanelles was easy and enjoyable and our accommodation in Çanakkale was wonderful with a great dinner and breakfast (DoubleTree by Hilton). Thank you to Hassle Free and Ercan - we had such an amazing experience!

      A lesson from history
A touching place to learn about the history and the tragedy that happened to the brave soldiers. The marked cemetery has tombstones with touching messages, but none were sure if the bodies were buried there as some were lost at sea and some on land.

South eastern Turkey . Seeing the parts of Turkey not many Australians see.
We had a good experience . We saw the real old history of Turkey. The guides were good / the food was good/ we liked the bazaars and markets as they were not as busy as Jnstanbul and more authentic.

      Fantastic trip
Very informative trip. Hulya's knowledge was incredible. It more than exceeded our expectations. Standing in the terrain, Hulya brought the scene to life. Glad we had sun hats with us and plenty of sun screen. The air conditioning in the bus was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend this tour to others.

      Private Tour
Tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable, he tailored the tour to help us trace our relative. The private bus transfer was also comfortable, which we appreciated as we were travelling from 4 hours away for the tour. We would definitely recommend Hassle Free Travel. The staff were very helpful in booking and we really enjoyed it.

      Great tour of Troy
Booking our tour of Troy through Hassle free travel as the name suggests was straight forward. Our friendly guide met us as agreed at the port and took us by private vehicle to Troy which was around 30 minutes drive away. The guides knowledge of the site and explanations of it were excellent. We really enjoyed our visit.

Our only and *best* tour in all Turkiye.
We had trouble with our hotel and they, not only helped us, but offered us an *amazing* tour around the memorials of Gallipoli. Hülya was really nice and attentive and Arjan was an outstanding guide. Everything was organized, timing was perfect, and we had lots of fun. One month already passed and I have the certainty I will never forget that day 😄.

“The luckiest men were the ones that were killed on the first day”.
An excellent summary from our guide. A very peaceful resting place for so many young men from both sides.

      Everyone should do this!
From the beginning to the end everything was planned and executed impeccably well by the travel agency. They were responsive to our inquires, and timely so. The highlight of our experience was our tour guide Hasan. He is supremely knowledgeable about the geography, the history and the war itself, and clearly cares deeply about honoring the lives lost and preserving their stories. He has a great sense of humor, very tactful and thoughtful. Our driver was awesome as well. We recommend with no reservations.

The only negative feedback I have is lunch, as I would have preferred a more traditional Turkish meal.

That aside the whole day was a great day out. The morning pick up was punctual, the 2 different vans were comfortable & the 2 guides (Burak for Troy & Gagn for Gallipoli) very personable & informative.

I learned a lot about Troy from Burak & the passion from Gagn on Gallipoli was felt by all.

Please keep up the good work.

Incredibly helpful people all around. Booked two trips as a Canakkale walk-in. First day was a simple treat. Beautiful ferry ride across the Hellespont for a lunch by the water. Then a mini bus which effortlessly moved between important battle sites. Our guide was impressive. He knew, and loved, history. He knew every event and every name of all the protagonists involved in the battles.
Day two was an equally rewarding half day trip to Troy. Same guide. He was even more knowledgeable about the history of this ancient city. His grasp of historic detail and his excellent English allowed for more than a ‘canned’ tour. He was very happy to expand on Troy’s influence an all aspects of history through the ages. Excellent!

Great tour. Well worth the money. Our guide Ercan was amazing, with 16 years experience he had so much to offer on this tour and so much knowledge on both Troy and Gallipoli. We were hooked on every word. The tour started with Troy and the guide clearly had inside knowledge on the workings of current archaeology, you don't get this on normal big tours. After this we were given an amazing lunch with an ocean view after a ferry ride. Then we were taken the beaches of Gallipoli after an introduction at the museum. The guide clearly put a lot of thought into the order of the day. 100% recommended. Best guide we ever had and we have been on many tours.
    Many thanks, Conor and Emma

We had the BEST experience with Aykut. We ended up having a private tour as the only guests for the day. Aykut was a fabulous story teller. We loved visiting the Troy museum the most. We learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed our day. It’s worth every penny and I recommend this tour a million times over!!

We had a fascinating tour of Troy in the morning with Mustafa Askin who provided many interesting insights into the history of Troy and its archaeological excavation. Then in the afternoon Abdurrahim Boz took us on an equally informative tour of the Gallipoli sites. For anyone wanting to visit these two sites in a single day it is hard to imagine there could be any better option. The tour was run very efficiently and both guides were outstanding.

What a great tour. Doing these sights without a tour guide would be huge mistake. My tour guide, Erjam (forgive my spelling) was outstanding. Very knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, and had lots of great insights. He really piqued my interest in Troy. I only wish I had more time on this tour!

This was a well organized and highly informative tour of Gallipoli to the ANZAC section. We were a small group and had the chance to ask questions and discuss informally different aspects of the campaign. It was a chance to respect the Turkish, British, Australian, New Zealand, French, Indian, Nepalese and Senagalese soldiers who paid the ultimate sacrifice. To admire the impressive war memorials and acknowledge the Turkish authorities for their management of the sites and the outstanding work of the War Graves Commission for the upkeep of the cemeteries including those more out of the way. Our guide conveyed information clearly as well as posing questions to provide a sensitive and insightful experience to a memorable day. He also dealt very well indeed with some logistical challenges posed by members of the group. I only took part in the Gallipolli section of the tour and thought this represented good value particularly when a lunch was also provided.

Our professional guide Mustafa Askin, also an author, enlightened us with many layers of historical information, about this amazing place. Even other guides mentioned to us that we had connected with the "expert" - who had also been instrumental in training other guides, in the area. Highly recommend this tour :)

Our tour of Troy in the morning with Mustafa was sensational. Such a knowledgeable guide and demonstrated a genuine passion for the site and it's history. His explanations of little details and responses to our questions brought the ancient city to life for us.

Being Australian meant the tour of Gallipoli in the afternoon meant a great deal to me and our second guide, Abdurrahim, did a sensational job of guiding us through the experiences of all involved in the conflict. We were given time to dwell and reflect and never felt pressured to move on to the next stop like I have on so many tours in the past. Abdurrahim was an absolute walking library of facts and anecdotes and explained details in a sensitive and considered manner. It was extremely refreshing to hear more of the Turkish perspective as well. He was an outstanding guide and host and ensured that the lifelong dream of visiting Gallipoli will be a treasured memory.

The tour was wonderfully organised, both guides spoke impeccable English and the included lunch was fantastic. Such an amazing day and easily one of the best tours I have ever been on.
