About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- lolat10 contributionsAmazing experience ♥️It was a beautiful experience! The horses are so well taken care of, you can really feel the love and attention they get. I opted for the 2-hour ride, and it was absolutely the best decision I could’ve made! Galloping on the beach was truly incredible 🥰 Thank you so much!Written 3 February 2025
- D5997FTmartaz0 contributionsNiceNice food, nice service, friendly tour guide (Daimond), not strict activities if you don’t feel like hiking you can stay on the veach, etc., nice hiking spots although straining, take some comfortable footwear.Written 2 February 2025
- roundhillers0 contributionsLovely day outA lovely day out, with about the same time spent on the boat as on islands. We got to sit on the beaches, swim, and snorkel the coral reef. (Reef isn’t that good, but we saw parrotfish, wrasse, moorish idols.) Be prepared to get wet above the knee getting on and off the boat, and don’t sit in the front few rows if you want to stay dry. Crew were lovely, and informative, and we got the vegetarian lunch option that we had pre-booked, so it all went smoothly.Written 31 January 2025
- Sas5610 contributionsFerry from Hua Hin to Koh SamuiThe VIP coach and the whole process from getting on the coach at Hua Hin to Chumphon pier was very smooth and relaxing. The bus left on time providing some snacks and a bottle of water. On arrival at the pier it was chaotic with lots of people waiting to board the catamaran to Koh Samui and the three islands in between. Boarding the ferry when announced people ran to the boarding area so again not well organised. We boarded the ferry and took seats on the lower deck which was all good. However, if you experience any travel/sea sickness I would advice that you don’t use the ferry or choose one which has the shortest route. Within minutes several of the passengers were being sick and I also had the same for four hours on the ferry! The staff provided sick bags and tissue paper for passengers. This for me was one of the worst experiences due to travel sickness and not the actual ferry or the service. If you like me suffer from travel/sea sickness then fly.Written 28 January 2025

- tanstert0 contributionsWorst tour ever Skip itThis was by far the worst tour ever. You could hardly hear the tour guide. They’re late on timing and like to cut things short. They just really want your money. I don’t know how people rates this high. It should not even get any stars. What a waste of money and timeWritten 28 January 2025
- 301kurtd0 contributionsFeel ScammedPurchased a fast boat ride from Geen Planet in Ao Nang from a local representative The representative asked us what hotel we were staying in Phuket which we showed on our phone. She told us in the price would include our shuttle service to from our hotel. We paid and received a receipt. The receipt clearly states we paid in full, and nmthat there would be no more money due. Upon arrival at the port the Dock attendant was very rude, and that we owed allot more money because our hotel was further away. He said he didn't care what we had to say he has been working there along time, and for us to call the company. We called the main office and was told the same on the phone, but she apologized. We feel the company operated dishonestly, rude, and did not honor our written contract . BUYERS BEWARE OF THIS COMPANYWritten 15 January 2025
- Flyer7762660 contributionsGreat experience and lovely horsesGreat experience - a friend and I went and we have ridden before. We walked through the countryside and on the beach before ending with a canter and gallop across the beach. The horses were lovely and very well looked after. The tour guides were helpful and accommodating.Written 8 January 2025
- Scenic230212442330 contributionsTotal scam, stay away. Worst experience everThe worst tour of my life. It's the 3rd time I travel to Thailand. Never had any issues with tour always so kind and organized. This is a total scam. The price is not high so we wouldn't expect that much, but we have been treated like soldiers not tourist on holiday. The 1st part was okay just short time to the 1st stop. The problems started at the lunch stop. A total scam, horrible experience. They clearly said 60 min + 60 min Poda island. We got 35 minutes on the island. Can you believe it? While other people per having buffet we got lunch box (ok), as soon as you finished you have to go. From 12:35pm to 13:10pm. Literally took 2 pictures and go, no time to explore the island, no time to take pictures not even to swim in the water on an island!!! Last stop another scam, they said phra nang beach and railay, they leave you at the port and give you 30min. But you need 10 to go and come back from the beach 😂. And they said, you can come back by yourself this boat leave at 14.20pm... Please stay away, don't trust this guys, waiting money, which is okay you are on holiday but waiting people time on holiday it's the worst thing you can do. You should close your tour agency, you just scammers with no respect for people. Feel very sorry because Thai people are good people, always welcoming and with the best tour experiences. Not this ones. Stay awayWritten 7 January 2025
- speedy40 contributionsGood way to get to Phuket from Ao nang.Approximately 100 people on board. So very busy and all sat very close together. We did get a bottle of water. The noise from the engines was very loud. Take ear plugs. Good service for what we paid.Written 6 January 2025
- jacquelinecP22DZ0 contributionsNot for anyone with motion sickness issues5 stars for the wonderful staff, the negative review is purely due to the extreme seasickness I experienced on this trip and serves as a warning - if you tend to experience any sort of motion sickness this tour unfortunately isn’t for you. The ride to Koh Tao was incredibly choppy since I was told that January is monsoon season (despite it being a beautiful clear day). The kind staff were prepared, passing out baggies for anyone feeling sick - less than an hour into the tour, at least 5 people threw up. I read a lot of reviews warning about this and came really prepared taking Dramamine ahead of the ride (and then multiple doses on the ride). I also had motion sickness bands on my wrists. None of this worked for me and I too was extremely nauseous before we arrived at the first stop (though I managed to not throw up on the boat). The staff were incredibly accommodating allowing me to essentially leave the tour - I truly don’t think I could tolerate more time on this boat and they took me seriously when I told them this. They booked me onto a large ferry from Koh Tao - this was much less choppy and a nice experience back. I was surprised what a difference a bigger boat makes and am really grateful to the staff for arranging for me to leave this tour. Please be careful - if you have any issues with motion sickness at all, I really don’t recommend this tour for you even with motion sickness meds like I had. Take a public boat to Koh Tao instead - it will be a much nicer experience for you.Written 2 January 2025
- E6568JStonyg0 contributionsQuite a nice trip.Quite nice trip. Pick up and delivery back to our villa. Was four stops, not four islands. Boat crew were good, lunch was good. Snorkeling spot was average - a lot of dead coral, but plenty of small fish. Would recommend as a budget friendly trip.Written 29 December 2024
- tmolta0 contributionsInteresting way to get off Koh SamuiThe experience will depend on the waters. On our day, the seas were just a bit choppy, with only a few whitecaps. But, as a catamaran, our boat felt choppy. For some, nauseatingly choppy. The bus connection to Hua Hin was very efficient and comfortable. The price of the boat and the VIP bus is reasonable.Written 29 December 2024
- R8186IPnikkij0 contributionsA fantastic adventure with an awesome guideThis was a truly amazing trip. Our guide James was wonderful so informative, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour. We had a great time Kayaking and swimming in the clear waters of the mangroves. Lunch at a local restaurant was a nice touch and something we wouldn’t have experienced if we hadn’t had gone on this trip. James wanted us to experience true Thailand and we definitely did. Railway beach was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been and the kids loved the bats in the cave. We can’t fault this trip and highly recommend to families and anyone who wants to experience true Thailand with a wonderful guide.Written 25 December 2024
- Amy Q0 contributionsHighly recommend, it is not to be missed. This trip was excellent and a highlight if my holiday. Our tour guide Pradest made this so special and memorable. The information and care he provided was outstanding. He ensured that we saw and learnt so much, he was incredibly passionate about the environment, animals and his country. We saw so many wild animals and the scenery qas breathtaking. The trip was full of well thought out activities and also included time to relax and enjoy the scenery. The trip was brilliant but Pradest made it perfect.Written 20 December 2024

Scenery, floating markets and islands was great, but tour bus was 50 minutes late which impacted the day. James Bond Island was very crowded as multiple tours arrived at the same time.
Waterfall was underwhelming as it was more of a stream and had a musky smell, but that
may be due to rainy weather the day before.
There was also over an hour and a half drive from Ao Nang, Krabi, which was briefly mentioned in the itinerary but most of us were caught off guard.

A full on day, great long tail boat ride through the mangroves onto a limestone cliff and cave area. We swapped into a canoe and were paddled through some small access points into some fantastic open caves! Really impressive, we loved it. Back onto the long tailed boat to James Bond island. It’s a tick in the box for a bond fan! There are a lot of souvenir stalls there who were on a hard sell mission and were in your face for over priced tat! We went onto the floating village for lunch. Lunch was great, lots of options on the buffet. We were encouraged to go shopping afterwards as we were there for 1 hour plus. Again overzealous stall holders and kid’s trying it on say it was for school fees, spoiled the experience. We headed back to the dock and back on the bus to see a reclining Buddha, which was nice and feed some very bored monkeys. Next stop was to a waterfall, this in my opinion was a stop to many. There were limited or no services available for a drink or snacks, the waterfall was quite boring. Our guide was there at every opportunity to take couple photos etc and to make sure everyone kept to the schedule. Our mini bus was cramped and the a/c was not fully functional! So it turned into an uncomfortable ride back to Ao Nang. All in all I’d recommend it for the canoeing and the James Bond experience. The rest were an effort to either empty your wallet or drag a half day trip into a full one

Dear DampierreBrowns
Thanks for your detailled review, it took me a while to read it :-) James Bond Island is indeed a fantastic place in the Phang Nga Bay, but also attracts many "souvenir sellers". Koh Panyee Island is a Muslim community, and most of the locals are fishermen which live on a day to day basis. Life can be very tough for them, especially during monsoon season where it is difficult to go out to the sea.

Although the tour did everything in the itinerary we found our experience underwhelming.
The title of the tour “James Bond island tour from Krabi by long tail boat” is not strictly true. The tour does go from Krabi however we were not expecting to spend two hours crammed into the back of a minibus each way to get to the pier. The pier is situated only a few kilometres from James Bond island meaning during the long day very little time is actually spent on the long tail boat and the majority of the day is spent in the bus.
However, the activities we good and we enjoyed the few hours spent doing the activities.

A must do for any 007 fans, busy day with full itinerary which was well organised apart from initial pick up and drop off. Collecting and dropping off participants took over an hour which when added to the drive to the departure pier, meant a lot of time in the mini bus.
That said, all the attractions were interesting, with the ‘James Bond’ island predictably quite busy (I guess there are a lot of JB fans).
Overall, a recommended trip.

Bare in mind that this is a touristic trip. But we had a great time. For me, a trip down memory lane, as I did the same trip 25 years ago!
The highlight of the trip was kajaking in caves. We were really lucky with the guide who paddled us around, as he managed to get us in alone in most of these caves that brought us into small, open space places with total silence. Even though we must have been 50 kayaks together.
But also going in to the old, original part of the floating muslim village, the mangroves and the large buddah in the cave was great. And the final stop by the waterfall, where I took a bath in a cooler water than the sea, was very nice.
The James Bond Island was a tourist trap, but we knew that. Overcrowded with people and very pushy souverneer-salespersons, but that was expected. We all got our standard photos :)
Nice and comfortable minivan picked us up at the hotel and brought us back. All and all - great value for the money.
And just being out in the Phang Nga bay is breathtaking, the mountains and the colors are stunning!

We recently attended the James Bond Island tour with guide NaNa how was great throughout the day explaining everything very accurately throughout the trip. There is a lot to see on this trip definitely worth it if you are in the area. Long tail boat ride to sea caneoing along the limestone and into caves along the way then onto James Bond Island with enough time to see all the area and check out the local stalls we spent just over half an hour here which was plenty as the island is quiet busy with a constant turn over of tour boats. Then onto the Muslim floating village where we had a lovely buffet lunch and time to explore. Next onto to the temple of the sleeping buddha. Finally onto a 7 tier waterfall perfect for a dip after the day of travelling finally we ended tour wit NaNa and our driver having a little picnic by the waterfall of cookies and cold drinks. This really is a great day out and is super value for all the activities included. Thank you NaNa we had a brilliant time.

A definate 'must do' on your Thailand experience.
Picked up at Patong beach hotel at 0900, at pier for speed boat at 1000 for 1030 departure. Gorgeous scenery en route to the first stop, a cave with great photo op's then onto JB island and the iconic movie location where you can swim out to the rock. Onto the incredible floating village for a buffet lunch with a dcent selection, not great.
Following a walk around the floating village and scool with floating soccer pitch it is off for a bit of canoeing viewing the rocks and their natural beauty up close with the funny guides.
Then onto the stunning Palm Beach for sun, swim, jet ski etc or relax with a cocktail before returning to the marina at 1730 and back in our hotel pool by 1830. Most enjoyable.

Staying at Railay beach got picked up from Ao Nang so you have to get a longtail boat at 8ish. Not many people going to ao nang early so be prepared to have to pay the full 800 baht, or wait until the boat is full - 8 people. Quite a long drive but minibus was comfy and cool. First stop kayaking, if you dont book this option you will be waiting for about 30 mins on a floating platform for the kayaks to come back. You don't paddle you have a man do all the hard work. Nice little trip thru a cave and to the mangroves.
Next stop JBond island - be prepared it is packed and full of stalls. A bit dissapointing but still a cool place.
Next off to lunch on waterside restaurant and then back in minibus.
Stop off at cave/temple with loads of monkeys, and then at waterfall nothing spectacular.
So a lot of travelling and crowds but prob worth it just for a pic/selfie of that famous pinnacle.
