This Safari extended ALl our expectations
We booked our Safari trip before our travel to Zanzibar- months ahead actually, and when the date arrived, we were a little concerned, if everything would fall into pieces. But our concern was totally unnecessary. We were picked up at our hotel at the scheduled time, everything at the airport went smoothly and at Selouse in Nyere Park we were picked up by our driver and guide. Both were outstanding, and went all the way in their effort to give us the very best adventure. We can for sure recommend this tour. We went for three days a two nights in a very authentic African lodge.

          2 day Safari tour
Had an absolutely amazing time doing a 2 day safari with tour guide Emmanuel. The tour was organised by Allan and he was super helpful and attentive. We were lucky to see heaps of elephants, gazelles, lions , giraffes etc. Felt extremely safe as a group of females. Would recommend to anyone planning to visit Tanzania!

Amazing experience thanks to an amazing tour operator and its amazing staff
I have been places in my life, but the trip to Tansania and everything I happened to experience during my stay will stay forever in my heart and memories as one of the best "escapes" of all times. And none of this would be the case if not for Nkollo Tours & Safaris taking the best possible care of me and my friend Melanie. The whole package was just brilliant and worth every penny! Allan is a very fast, thorough and friendly communicator and organiser. Before our trip we had a million questions, doubts and wishes, but Allan really did answer EVERY EACH of them in a very timely manner. Always super friedly, always engaged, very precise - many Germans could learn from him of what great service means ;) All our wishes were taken for granted and fulfilled instantly. Benson - our guide to Materuni, Kikuletwa and Arusha - picked us up at the airport and we got on to the same wave just like a second later. Easy-going, caring, intelligent - a real sweetheart having an answer to each stupid question of ours. It wasn't even midday that we decided to invite him out for a dinner on our last night in Arusha - that is how much we enjoyed his company. The next day we were picked up by the best Safari guide of all times - Malisa! One sees straight away that he loves his job, and his knowledge about ALL animals you meet on your way (starting from a little colourful bird, ending with a rhino and elephant) is definitely broader than that of whole Google. I promise! We had such a lovely and splendid time during our 4 days of Safari, you can't even imagine! We were taken a great care of, the food was delicious and there were always enough drinks in the fridge. Malisa "had the right nose" for where to go in order to see a bunch a lions, a herd of elephants, a sleeping leopard or a feeding cheetah. We learned so much from Malisa and got to hear the most amazing stories. We invited also him to the dinner at our last night in Arusha. Also the back-up crew (cook Simba with his asisstants) were good fun and very devoted to what they are doing. We had some great talks, extra dessert and African dancing in the kitchen. To be honest - you plan your (budget) trip to Africa and never expect EVERYTHING to go smoothly, right? You have your bias, you have your fears and doubts. But among these guys I felt at home and in peace, all doubts gone in less than 60 seconds after the arrival. My vacation was once of the best things I have done in my life and I am so very grateful to Nkollo Team for making it happen exactly the way it was! Allan, Benson, Malisa - you are my brothers from another mother ;) and I feel honored to have met you in my life. ASANTE SANA rafiki yangu <3

          Great team, incredible adventure!
Our 3-Day Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Manyara was amazing, a life-changing experience. Tanzania is magical, with great parks to vizit numerous wildlife. We saw: lions, elephant, zebras, giraffe, buffalos, wildebeest, monkey, hippos and a lot of beautiful birds. Our safari guide was extraordinary, he knew so much about the local wildlife and had some fascinating stories. I recommend Nkollo Tours & Safaris for a fascinating adventure.

Great experience and great customer support
To plan this trip we went through some quotes before from companies we found on trip advisor and Nkollo Tours was definitely what seemed the best quality price wise. I mean when you choose a budget camping the experience I think will be about the same with everyone so what matters is the budget and the customer service and Allan did a great job with it. He was always answering all our concerns very quickly and finding us solutions where we had problems. Definitely his support throughout the trip was worth 5 stars. For what concerns the Safari: it was a great experience, the driver/guide was very professional and skilled (he’s been doing it for 7 years) and made us feel very safe even sleeping in tents in the middle of the park with no fences. The cook was very young and just came out of cooking training but he was also very skilled and made us a lot of different meals, never ate the same thing twice. In conclusion I’d definitely recommend it. Everyone was accommodating and professional.

Unforgettable experience in the heart of Africa
We spent 3 unforgettable days with Nkollo Tours in Nyerere NP. From Pick-up in the Hotel, flight and fantastic game drives with very passionate guides that love what they are doing - Everything was just Perfect. Highlight was a Night Safari with a dinner in the wild surrounded by Hyenas - but well protected. Thanks to the team doing everything - we felt like King and Queen as everything was done for us! 3 days in search for Lions and at the end we got lucky with a great pride! A fantastic team took care of us so that we can fully recommend traveling with Nkollo Tours! I wanted to show my family AFRICA and they all loved it. Thanks again for everything and keep up the great Spirit!

Was amazing and we looking forward for our next visit
We sent requests to several operators and ended up with Nkollo Tours since Allan tailored it to what we requested. We arrived at the airport and we were picked up by our driver to the hotel in Arusha. After our arrival, we got a comprehensive briefing about what to expect during the safari. James was our guide for the 4 days and was very informative and fun to be with. He tried to make our experience unforgettable and amazing. The accommodations met our expectations and the whole trip went beyond what we expected. We luckily managed to see the big 5 animals from the parks we visited. For the 4 days, we saw so many animals, birds, plants, and insects. We had our phones and cameras fully charged since the safari jeep had charging ports and even binoculars to observe animals from a distance. The lodges had delicious meals with varieties. We visited a Masai Village which was so fascinating. The next day after our safari, Allan organized a day tour to Kilimanjaro before our evening flight. Benson was our guide, he was knowledgeable and fun to spend time with. The 40 minutes hike to Materuni Waterfall was beautiful. After the hike, went to the local village for coffee making. The coffee and local food lunch was also served at the village which was also good. Next, we went to the Kikuletwa Hot Springs, a relaxing way to finish the day. I truly recommend Nkollo Tours to anyone traveling in Tanzania. Asante sana.

          Amazing time in Selous
We had few days in Zanzibar and decided to take 2days Fly in safari to Selous with Nkollo Tours. Allan the owner with his team had a great coordination. Frank was our guide he managed to show us a lot of animals and had a chance to see lioness fighting with the hyena. We had another great experience on a boat trip before our flight. The food was so delicious and accommodation was nice with a good view. We will definitely book with them next time.

Could not have been a better experience!
Booked my trip last minute and I can't believe how lucky I got. Very fast to respond, extremely helpful (even for things that I needed organised outside of the tour), and very professional. Pick up and drop off were seamless. Our safari driver (Josef) was absolutely incredible... he could drive (like a pro) and spot animals miles away at the same time... we were very lucky to have been able to see the big 5 (and more) and I know that it definitely had something to do with our guide and his sixth sense. The food was really good, our cook Simba was always ready with more food than we could possibly eat. Could not say enough good things. Do not hesitate to book!

Fantastic day; three amazing experiences in the same day
It was a great day with three experiences in the same day. My pick was probably the waterfall. Amazing to look at and even though a little cool, I couldn’t resist swimming in melted equatorial snow! Great to see how coffee is made and have a fresh brew, and then laze around in beautiful clear hot springs. My tour guide was excellent. I definitely recommend this tour.

We had a single day in Tarangire and It was an unforgettable journey since we saw alot of animals With Hans, we had the best guider and driver you can imagine. He is very helpful and experienced, he knows every corner and spot to show you the animals and creatures in the wilderness. Outstanding experience!
From the very first correspondence, we knew we were with the right company! We were so pleasantly surprised at the consistent, professional and friendly communications prior to our arrival, and from the moment we were greeted at the airport, our expectations were all exceeded. For the next several days we were treated to a local's view of all the best places to see, dine and experience, and it was like we were spending time with an old friend! We could have never found all interesting and delightful places on our own. Allan the owner of Nkollo tours went above and beyond everyday to make sure our time in Arusha was truly exceptional! We highly recommend Nkollo tours!

          Vacation of a life time
We did a 3 days group safari with nkollo tours. Our guide, John, was amazing and made our experience! John was incredibly friendly, flexible, and knowledgeable -- his enthusiasm for the animals was contagious. He was familiar with spots where we could expect to see certain animals, and was also in contact with other guides whenever there was an especially exciting sighting. He was also very generous in sharing his thoughts and experiences with us. We're so grateful to have had him as a guide! We were very happy with our camping and even the staffs are welcoming. We had our meals in the parks. The meals were well prepared and delicious, accompanied with local wines and cold beers from our chef.

3 days safari to Ngorongoro and Serengeti
My friend and I had unforgettable 3 days join group safari experience, and it was phenomenal! We were able to get extremely close to wild animals, close enough to pet giraffes and lions on multiple occasions. We are able to see all Big 5 animals, including the black rhinos in the crater. Our guide John was able to meet all of our goals and was patient with us as we tried to get the perfect photos. Our vehicle was very comfortable, and with charging ports. This was our first Tanzania safari and I had the best experience ever with an excellent service from nkollo tours.

Salim picked me up at my hotel early morning then we headed for the hike with beautiful waterfalls . After the hike we went to the local coffee men who explained the process of coffee making. We learned how to make our own coffee while everyone was dancing and singing. It was a really nice experience.
After this the driver drove me to the hot springs which were beautiful. Great for families, kids or going solo! I had a perfect lunch with some local beers after. The hotspring is pretty big and there is a rope swing there too.

Andrew was the best guide we could have hoped for in this day tour. We somehow managed to arrive at the hot springs while there was literally nobody else there and we had the pools for ourselves the full stay there.

Then we went to the Materuni village and he told us interesting facts along the way and while there. You could tell he loves his job and the people there, it felt as if he was a local, everyone knew him and was happy to see him. We were served a magnificent lunch, with banana soup, white and brown rice, vegetables (that included banana as well) and meat, and some fruits.

After lunch we went to roast and brew our own coffee, even on that short walk he found interesting facts to tell us.

Andrew even had boots for our walk to the waterfall so we wouldn't get our shoes dirty and showed us plants that locals use to make tea and again, more interesting facts. He somehow even spotted and showed us a few chameleons on the way.

If this review convinces you to pick Andrew as your guide, please let him take pictures of you as well, such a great photographer too! Asante sana!

I had a fantastic day exploring the waterfall and hot springs. Joel was a fantastic driver, guide and photographer! I originally booked the tour to simply fill a day between a safari and Kilimanjaro trek. But it turned out to be a memorable and really enjoyable day. I highly recommend you book the tour if you are looking for a fun day trip around Moshi!

Our guide Ben picked us up early in the morning straight to Moshi, We visited the Materuni village, and waterfalls and learned how coffee is processed from the first step to the end. Our tour activities ended at Chemka hot springs where we had delicious lunch, bottled water, and some beers. We enjoyed swimming at the pool till late afternoon. Everything was amazing, it was a wonderful experience.

Great experience but very demanding hike to the falls, probably not for families. The coffee experience was fantastic. It was really too much to cram into 12 hours to fully enjoy it all and we scratched the hot springs.

A great (long) day out. I enjoyed the drive through the villages and the hike up the waterfall. Bring hiking boots and a rain jacket. In the rainy season you can’t swim in the waterfall. The coffee tour and lunch were both excellent and I bought some local coffee. Then a long and bumpy drive to the hot spring which is nice and warm for swimming. It gets very busy on weekends but it was fun to watch the locals swinging and jumping into the water. There is a place to change, bring some flip flops or better yet water shoes. A super day out and a good experience for a solo traveler.

Currently taking my solo trips a bit more serious, so I randomly decided that I’d take a one day trip. And nkollo tours had a beautiful package I couldn’t miss out on. The coffee plantation demonstration was just great (had me thinking I could own one someday). I’d be lying if I didn’t say the hot spring dipping and swimming was perfect, I still think about it till date.

I was with my 10 years old nephew and we enjoyed the whole experience. We were lucky to be guided by Benson who is really a nice guy. He is patient and knowledgeable. Anyway we started by the trek to the waterfalls which was great then we enjoyed the “coffee show” given by the locals and eventually went to the hot spring where my nephew enjoyed jumping in the water.
Overall, I’d recommend. It is well organised and it’s good fun.
