It was a lovely day with my guide in the Kilimanjaro National Park. We hiked and visited an amazing waterfall, and then we had a very nice lunch and attended a coffee ceremony which included dances and songs.

The best part of the trip was that the guide was really knowledgeable; he explained many things about the plans and animals we saw, and took my pictures with a lot of patience. The coffee part was also quite nice, although I felt a bit "pressured" to buy coffee (10USD), and I don't even drink coffee! So I gave it as a present.

I recommend this day, also because you're in the middle of a jungle and it's a different experience to the safaris you usually do in Tanzania.

What a wonderful experience! We started with a great guided walk to the waterfall. We had little kids and slow walkers in our group, and the guides were very patient and helpful throughout. The views of Kilimanjaro were absolutely stunning. We then ate an authentic delicious local lunch with the Materuni clan, and then it was time for a coffee-making demonstration, with lots of singing and dancing.

It was an all-in-all great tour, and everyone in our party had the best time. We really got a chance to experience some Tanzanian culture and will keep these memories with us forever!

We spent a great day with Alfred and his driver, of course this experience does not worth climing Kilimandjaro but it enabled us to see from close and far the shape of this famous mountain. We started our day from the meeting location to clim Kilimandjaro, we could see the team how they prepare themselves. Then we headed towards the waterfall, a nice walk letting us admire the beautiful landscape until we achieve the waterfall. Then we had a great lunch with local food ang ingredients prepared by a group of coffee man, they taught us afterwards with music singing loud how to make coffee, of course they let us prepare the coffee beans. We had a lot of fun there. Finally, our last step was the hotspring, the spot was really nice, the shape of the trees are amazing, nature is amazing waouw. Although my first wishes were to clim a bit of the Kilimandjaro mountain, i was definitely not disappointed i really had a good time to see what kind of nature are in kilimandjaro region.

I had one day prior to joining my Kilimanjaro group to explore the local area so decided on the waterfalls and coffee tour. I got promptly collected by a driver from my hotel who took me to Materuni village; he spoke great English and gave me information en route. On arrival at materuni, I met a local guide who took me to the waterfall, which was about an hour hike. Beautiful scenery and the guide was amazing! After the hike, I got to make coffee with the locals and enjoy a traditional lunch at one of the village houses - highly recommend!!

Alfred picked us up at our hotel in Arusha and we went directly to the Kikuletwa hot springs - amazing water color where you can swim. Then we went to Materuni village where we had some coffee lessons and really great traditional meal. After lunch, we started out 45 min walk to the Materuni waterfalls - easy walk, great views along the way and incredible 85m waterfall. It is really worth it. Thank you so much Alfred for this wonderful day and for your great lessons abound the Masai culture :)

Good tour of Kilimanjaro region: waterfall and coffee plantation. We even added a visit to Arusha hotspring at the end of the day.
Staff was flexible and helpful from the first moment of contact. Alfred and his team were working with us to provide the best experience while still respecting and listing to our schedule and wishes.
The coffee tour was a great addition to the walk to the waterfall. The local lunch provided was more then we needed.
During the drive to Kilimanjaro region Alfred was explaining us the region and provided some background on what we saw.

This tour through this company I would recommend.

Alfred picked us up at the hotel and drove to the Materuni Village where we did a 45 minute walk to the amazing Materuni falls. The we had enough time to tale pictures and even bath under the cascade. Later we walked to another place of the village where we havean awesome lunch which included mangos, bananas and avocados grown organically there. To finalize, we grinded, toasted and tasted our own coffee from the beans of the local plantations. Also, don't forget to try your banana beer!! The staff was super friendly and made the trip most enjoyable.

Awesome one day tour. Started off quite early but that was because Moshi is about 2 hours away. Our guide was well informed, very friendly and accommodating. The cultural tour was fun and interactive and we were served an amazing feast of traditional cuisine. The springs were wonderful and everyone there helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Alfred and the team were amazing! They were so kind and really wanted to make sure you had a great experience (even stopped along the way to get breakfast and go to an ATM for us which was not part of trip) - always offering to take pictures for you. They also bought bananas for us from the side of the road as they were driving. The waterfall hike was a little steep and they made sure everyone felt comfortable and had a helping hand on the way up and down. The lunch at the coffee plantation was amazing and usually I fall asleep when people explain making coffee but this interaction was tons of fun. The hot springs were also beautiful! Trip was very well organized and Alfred was one of the kindest people.
