Meet a driver at your centrally located Tel Aviv hotel and board a climate-controlled coach for the 90-minute trip to Jerusalem. The first stop of the day is the Mount of Olives, with sweeping views across Old Jerusalem and Temple Mount, and you’ll pass the Garden of Gethsemane as you enter the city.
Pause outside Zion Gate, then continue into the Old City on foot, walking through the Armenian Quarter to the Jewish Quarter and the 6th-century Byzantine Cardo. Visit the Western Wall, also called the Wailing Wall, an important pilgrimage place for people across the globe. Continue into the Christian quarter to stroll the Via Dolorosa all the way to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, believed to mark Jesus’ crucifixion site.
The final stop before returning to Tel Aviv is Yad Vashem Holocaust Remembrance Center, whose displays are a moving illustration of the Holocaust.
