- TheFlyingKorean00First cooking classMy first cooking class and it was a great day! An experienced and knowledgable chef who guided us and gave some great tips on how to cook some local Indonesian dishes!
- MalaysiaMinky00Very good experienceI was totally exhausted trying to find a guide that does not over charge On internet, one day tour could cost you from 100,000 Rupiah to 900,000 Rupiah We finally found a homestay that offers their inhouse guide for only 100,000 Rupiah per person and honestly there is no difference It is a once in a lifetime visit so I would give it 5 star
- truepowerr00Amazing serviceIssy works as a babysitter at Sofitel Fijian and she is exceptional. The kids loved her warmth and she has a great sense of humour. We just loved her. We can’t wait to come back to see her again.
- H3818AVkais00An Unforgettable Adventure with friendsThe adventure began with a short hike through the verdant jungle, and the sights and sounds of nature enveloped me. The anticipation built with each step, and the roar of cascading waterfalls grew louder as we approached the entry point. Our guides were not only experienced but also exuded passion for the sport. They ensured we were equipped with the necessary gear, including wetsuits, helmets, and harnesses, which made us feel safe and ready to conquer the falls.

- Talbot0700Entertaining morning learning about Balinese cooking and cuisine.Fabulous morning commenced with a free hotel transfer to market to meet our host Tommy at the local market. We discussed ingredients used in local Balinese cooking and Tommy recommended substitutes we could use in our home country (impressive with 5+ nationalities represented in the group). Mixed group of families, couples and singles ages ranged from 13-50+, everyone was involved in the food preparation. Tommy kept it entertaining with great humour and plenty of cooking tips and tricks. Highly recommend - suitable for people of all ages.
- Stephen S00Enjoyable cooking and delicious lunchVery wonderful experience with my 10 year old when my wife went for spa. The cooking process was very enjoyable. Lunch was big and super delicious. Both of us enjoyed so much!

- yuanchaoc00wonderful experienceI'd like to express my sincere thanks to the staffs who offered kind help to my son and I on Aug. 07. There's no way to find a taxi and finally, the staffs arranged a car to send us to our next destination. I was and I am deeply moved by this and would like to thank them again. Based on this matter, I hereby suggest the Park consider to arrange paid transportation, especially for those DIY travellers. You can pricing upon distances, whatever. That will help a lot.
- RAVI_P_S_CHAUHAN00Good place to have lunchBeautiful view of the volcano from the restaurant, excellent service by the staff and food options for vegetarians and Indians (taste wise) which is normally not available in other restaurants except Indian restaurants there. A definite place to visit and eat at.
- lynnh14200We LOVE Pink CocoUpon our arrival we were greeted with cool towels and a refreshing drink. The staff provided information about the resort and escorted us to our room. The accommodations were much like a small bungalow that was well appointed and very clean. We enjoyed our morning breakfast overlooking the sea. But what we enjoyed the most were the staff. The restaurant manager along with many of the other staff greeted us by name and always asked how they could help us. We felt like Pink Coco was a home away from home.
- Deb M00Extremely enjoyable workshopOne of the most unexpectedly enjoyable activities I did in Bali. I enjoyed every moment. This would be an excellent activity for a ladies group or hen’s party. You craft an individual and personalised fragrance that is uniquely you! Wonderful!
- 642kimberleyb00Do it.I could not recommend a morning out with chef Tommy more. A fantastic day, thank you Nia’s Cooking Class and chef Tommy!!

Wonderful experience learning about traditional Bali cooking. Very well organised, very hygienic and food tasted better than in a restaurant. Visiting a local market was another bonus. Highly recommend Paon Cooking class.

This class was absolutely AMAZING!! I went with my mother and grandmother. The family was so sweet--they showed us around their home and treated us like family. They helped my grandma get up and down the stairs. I have a peanut allergy and they made sure to keep peanuts away from my dishes. The class taught us a lot about Balinese cooking, and we made so many dishes together. The food was so fresh and delicious. We would recommend to everyone to come here while in Ubud! :D

Thoroughly excellent experience all round. Met at the Ubud Palace and taken on a fascinating tour of the vegetables, fruit and spices at the local market; with an opportunity to buy at much cheaper rates than European prices (e.g. recommend the saffron).
We were then driven about 15 minutes to the cooking school where we met the proprietor, a lovely convivial cook with a great backstory.
About 18 people attended and we were spilt up into groups and pairs to undertake the cooking, completing the preparation for 6 different dishes in total. The school staff were on hand to assist and with pre-preparation, they took a lot of the more tedious time-consuming aspects out of the equation. Part of the fun was also meeting the other ‘chefs for a day’ who were from Australia, Netherlands, Switzerland, Ireland and elsewhere.
Of course we all enjoyed eating the results of our excellent cooking too!
Have already recommended this course to friends, who also enjoyed the experience too.

We enjoyed a little tour and lesson on spices at a local market before heading to their family home for our cooking class. We were welcomed warmly into their beautiful home and explained a brief explanation on Balianese homelife.
The course catered for all requirements, all the ingredients and instructions were introduced clearly. The other assistants we very attentive to our children who were able to be very hands on with the cooking and chopping aspects. There was plenty of space for many cooking stations and helpers. We had a wonderful time, cooked some scrummy food and all walked away happy and eager to impress friends back home!

10/10 Would recommend anyone who is traveling to Bali to do this cooking class. Lots of details about ingredients and very hands-on in cooking. I was looking for a cooking class to accommodate my vegan diet, and this one was amazing 👏 I ate so much delicious food that I will definitely be making at home.

Can’t recommend this highly enough. Great way to spend a morning. Market visit (am only) was great, cooking educational, not too strenuous and wonderful food at the end. The host was hilariously funny and we were cared for in excellent style

The market tour is a waste of time as the market is pretty well closed by the time the group arrives. The family temple tour is just an unaccompanied wander around their family temple with no explanation.
The group was so big we had to be split into 2 groups and even then the group was so big you had to share, so not enough hands on cooking. It would have been nice to cook a classic dish like mie goring, but the dish choice was OK. All felt a bit rushed. I had to ask firmly for a recipe book as they wanted me to download it instead.
A ok outing, but no recommendation from me.

Food was very good but we were 17 persons in two groups. So we had to share the pan, cutting board etc. and couldn’t prepare the food as in a real cooking class as we just had to cut some herbs and stir the ingredients mainly prepared by the different helpers. Everything had to be done quickly and it felt like mass tourism without a personal touch, so quite a big deception. At the end, we had to insist for getting our “recipe book”.

My husband and I loved it, we went in the lunch time class so got to go to the market in the morning which was interesting. They talked through different ingredients but we didn’t actually buy the food there for the class, it was already organised at the house.
They picked us up from our hotel and dropped us back after. The class was really fun and a great location. The host was great!
They talked through how to make 6 different dishes before we all had a go at preparing and cooking them. They also helped to cook parts of it over a bbq and deep frying. It was with a group of 12 people from America, Italy and the UK so it was really nice being able to meet new people.
Lunch was served buffet style so we helped ourselves to as much as we wanted and sat chatting, with views of the ‘jungle’ around us.
I’d definitely recommend.

I see your do free pick up in the area? We are staying at the Kamandalu resort in Ubud? Do you do free drop off?
We have a problem. We want to do the morning class on the 3rd but we have to check out of Kamandalu, Ubud at 12 and head back to Canggu on the 3rd.
If someone picks us up at the Kamandalu, hotel can we bring our bags with us? We just need to know the address of where the cooking class is so we can arrange for transport to Canggu at 230pm when the class is over?
Do you think we would be able to bring our bags with us!

Is there a vegetarian option? We are a group of 6 of which one is vegetarian. We are travelling in July this year. Also - what time would pick up be from our accommodation in Ubud?
