We were picked up and the wonderful private experience began. Petu is a great chef and teacher BUT more importantly a wonderful human being. If you know how to cook or not it doesn’t matter! You will learn and enjoy this time at her family Balinese compound Her grocery store is her yard. Which is so cool! Her sous chef is her cousin Maddy. We made 5 entire dishes (with all Sauces and marinades) in no time flat because she is so organized. I have done many of these cooking classes. And this is the first time I was allowed to eat anything before it was all done. I loved that. The meal and fellowship was fantastic But at the end of the night I decided my favorite “dish” was Petu. She made the whole night magical. I know I read all the reviews before I booked this experience. Nothing was over exaggerated. It was all it claimed to be! This activity was sooooo amazing. I highly recommend booking this for your Bali vacation. Our host, Putu was absolutely amazing. We were transported to and from our hotel, had an opportunity to visit Putu's family home and temple, and spent time learning about the organic ingredients grown in their local farm. Putu did a great job allowing us to cook everything from scratch while she instructed on how to make and the significance of each ingredient. It definitely was worth way more than we paid and the food was abundant and very delicious. Highly recommend!!!

What an amazing experience, my husband and myself participated in Putu's private cooking class and I would highly recommend. I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the fact that it was just us, as such we were able to communicate much better with Putu and her beautiful cousin Made about the food and their culture. The food we cooked was delicious and fresh and enjoyed it with an ice cold Bintang and fresh coconut. Putu and her husband even returned my phone the same night after I left it in their car, their family are beautiful people and the whole experience was enjoyable and relaxing.

The class was amazing! Putu was a wonderful host. We got picked up from our hotel and drove out to the home with our host and driver. We are vegetarian, and our dietary preferences were easily accommodated. We also had a request for a particular dish we had tried before and wanted to learn how to make. Putu was happy to specialize the menu for us so we could learn to make exactly what we wanted. The home was beautiful and the lesson was organized very efficiently. Putu is a great teacher. We made six dishes and had way more food than we could eat by the end. Our host graciously packed up our leftovers for us, and we had amazing food for days afterwards. We were here on our honeymoon and absolutely loved this experience! Definitely worth it!

This was our best experience in Bali. It was lovely to go to a traditional village. Putu is incredible and kind. She makes you feel so welcomed in her home. as she takes you through her garden which has amazing plantation. We loved learning about Balinese culture and authentic Balinese food. Oh and the food - the food was absolutely delicious. We only wished we stayed longer to attend another class. This was an amazing experience and would highly recommend this. There's really nothing to fault. Definitely not one to be missed.

Kuta and her family have a beautiful home. I learned so much about their culture, traditions, ceremonies, and their way of life. It was an intimate setting and I appreciate their hospitality. The food cooking experience was so much fun. I got to cook 5 dishes, taste the local beer and ate my meal in peace. Hands down the best experience and I highly recommend this to anyone.

Such an amazing experience! You really get a feel of the Balinese culture and cuisine. Hosts were incredible and extremely helpful. We recommend this if you want to learn how to cook, try great food or simply learn more about the culture.

This class was a fantastic experience for my wife and I. Putu graciously welcomed us into her home and clearly and patiently taught us how to make several dishes. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and i couldn’t recommend more highly.

Really enjoyed the experience learning how to cook authentic Balinese food with Putu! Put this at the top of your “things to do in Bali,” list!! I had no idea what to expect when I booked this Balinese cooking class. What I received was an experience that will leave me a forever changed person for the better. To be welcomed into this family’s sacred place, village and home with such kindness and love speaks volumes of the Balinese people. I was able to see how they lived and we cooked a meal together with fresh ingredients that were grown in their garden. Not only did I have an enjoyable time, I also feel like I made new friends.

My friend and I enjoyed the whole event very mush. It’s 30mins driving from Ubud Sayan(Naya Ubud) and they offer pick up service. The chef Dewa gave us a very informative and interesting tour of their village which is beautiful, well maintained, and ecofriendly. You get to learn the life of traditional Balinese people. The cooking class starts after the tour. I’d suggest find at least 2-3 people to join the class together as the food will be too much for one person. Lastly, the food was 100% amazing! Highly recommended!
