        Niceand very interesting biketour
Nice bike tour with visit in a local school and a local family which are both supported by this company. Very interesting and our guide Agus answered all our questions, we learned a lot about bali and its culture. The visit on the coffee plantation was OK but to be honest i would not go there to have a look as i am pretty sure the cats there which are famous for the coffee are not held in good conditions, usually i will not support such thing but it was a part of the tour which cannot be dismissed by myself. But the tour is worth every IRP we spent, the best part was the school and the ricefields. Everyone can do this tour even the bikes are a bit outdated but thats just my personal opinion as i am a passioned biker and i am used to ride my bike uphill as well :)

        Excellent Bike Tour w/ Agus
Best tour in Bali! The ride itself is 90% downhill- little physical effort required on this 23KM ride. Agus was an excellent guide who took us through the various back streets in Ubud. Along the way, we stopped at a coffee plantation, rice fields, community temple, local home w/ a nice meal to end the ride. Throughout each stop, Agus provided insights local perspectives and context about Balienese culture. He was also very mindful of our safety and ensured we were comfortable every step of the way. If you're going to do this tour, definitely ask to do it Agus!

        Best Day!
We booked a private tour (for three) through the website the day before and I was worried it was too late notice but I got a quick response from the company to arrange our pick up from our villa in Seminyak. It’s a bit of a drive out to Ubud so it’s good to leave earlier. Our drive and guide were both fab. Our guide Agus was fantastic! His English was excellent and he took the time to explain interesting things about the places we visited and the culture. First stop at a coffee plantation was so interesting! After breakfast, we visited Mount Batur and started cycling. It really is a very easy ride! So enjoyable cycling through villages and rice fields. I think it gives you a feel for the place. We visited a Balinese family’s home and afternoon another gorgeous section of cycling, we ended with a delicious lunch. Everything was great, and I like how this company invests back into the community.

        Bike tour
Downhill bike riding was a lot of fun. Our guide Eddie was welcoming, full of energy and had a great sense of humour. Throughout we felt very well looked after. In particular, it was interesting visiting a local home where we were offered coffee and snacks. The trip was topped off with a fantastic lunch. Thanks for a lovely afternoon Eddie!

Wow! A must do. The highlight of my trip to Bali so far. We were picked up from the hotel then driven to Ubud where we were given lovely food and drink. We then had coffee tasting and shown around the grounds. We were driven to see the volcano...After that we cycled through rice fields and learned all about rice growing. The views were spectacular. We cycled through the real Bali and taken to a house where we were served refreshments where Ogus also told us about traditional family life in Bali and their Hinduism faith, karma and reincarnation. It was so interesting and I so appreciated this trip. It was good for me and for 15 year old daughter. Then we continued our cycle to a lovely place where we were given a lovely meal and water with amazing views. After this out driver kindly drove us to the swings on the way home. That was fun. I'd say this is s 5 star experience and s must do at a very good price. Thank you friends in Bali.

Downhill Mountain Bike Ride From Kintamani Volcano
By far one of the most enjoyable tours I took in Ubud. Ogus was so informative, organized, professional and great guide. I am only sorry I can't remember our drivers name, he was very sweet and personable and right there with us. They were an awesome team!

A beautiful insight into a beautiful land and people
What makes this special is the ability to talk with a local and get a deeper understanding of the country - it's customs, people, politics, life in general. Starting at the tea house was uncomfortable to begin, feeling like I was walking into a tourist trap, but to be fair, the tea/coffee tasting tray is really interesting! The walking is very easy for those who don't have balance issues - it wouldn't be appropriate for anyone requiring walking aids. The UNESCO sites are amazing (I had no idea of the duration & complexity of Balinese history - my ignorance), but the local experiences just as special - having a chat with a very friendly elderly gentleman about his time working in Kuta 20 years ago (translated through my guide, Eddie) & his granddaughter - off to Uni to study pharmacy whilst sitting in a rice paddy, drinking from a coconut. Many thanks to Eddie, my guide, who was very generous with his time & insights. I don't understand why this hasn't been reviewed more often? Whilst you could see the sights independently, you will only get the experience with a local

Had a fantastic day cycling through paddy fields and sitting in a traditional compound learning about the local cultural customs. If you’re looking for off the beaten path, and something less touristy, this is it.

        Great experience
I went on the downhill bike tour with rice terraces with the friends of Bali and ended up being on my own and thoroughly enjoyed it. Both the driver and the guide were really nice and we rode past some great scenery. The guide stopped every now and again to let me take pictures and explain the surroundings which was very interesting. I also visited a coffee plantation and was served a delicious lunch at the end (I could choose between chicken, vegetarian and vegan). Thanks for a great day!

Such a perfectly nice tour. I had a wonderful time! Our guide was just great, he provided us with so many information, we crossed a lot of authentic villages, were invited to a house to see how a family in Bali lives and they welcomed us with a little introduction tour to coffee, tea and jungle feeling :) highly recommendable!! Thanks again, btw they contribute a part of the payment to kids education :)))

We have done cycling tours in other countries because you get to experience the true culture and see such diverse landscapes.
This tour was no exception and a highlight of our trip to Bali.
Our guide Sangtu Buki, was so kind and lovely, his knowledge of Balinese culture opened our eyes and minds to the beautiful and respectful ways the Balinese people and their family traditions.
The visit to the coffee plantation was so interesting and the coffee and tea samples are incredible.
We went inside a family compound to meet some family elders and experienced their hospitality which was very special.
At the end of our cycling, which was not difficult, we had a delicious meal in an Ubud restaurant overlooking some rice paddies.
This tour is fun, insightful and highly recommend to do if you want knowledge and see this beautiful island up close.

Thankyou Agus and Nyoman for a beautiful day out riding! We loved riding through the greenery of the rice fields, the coffee plantation and the incredible views of the volcano. Along the way we learned all about Balinese culture and practises from Agus, who showed us the Bali way of living in a family home. Finishing off for lunch in a restaurant amongst the greenery was wonderful. Highly recommended!

We loved our bike tour guided by Kadek. The trip was very well organised and supported including a back up vehicle with spare bikes if needed. We felt cared for all day.

Breakfast with an awesome view of Mt Kintamani is included. We recommend the delicious banana pancakes made with a plantain type banana!

Kadek had a lovely manner and was very knowledgeable and keen to share. We learned so much about the traditional Balinese way of life. Visiting the private family compound was an amazing privilege.

It felt so adventurous to be riding through back roads, rice terraces, and pockets of original rainforest.

The ride is mostly downhill with a couple of brief uphills.

To cap it all off, we had a generous lunch in the home of the family who own Love Bali Bike Tours and learned more about the employment that they provide. The people of Bali have suffered so much due to the volcano eruption and then Covid!

The pick up from and drop off to our hotel in Sanur made it so easy. We recommend the 7.30am start. Yes, it is a long trip due to the heavy traffic around Ubud, but there is so much to look at that there is plenty to keep entertained!

Today we did the “Bali hidden bike cycling”. It was a half a day trip by bike, but just only downhill. So even when it’s warm it is still comfortable and not too warm because of the wind while biking.
The two really nice guides picked us op from our hotel, they were really in time and well prepared. On our way to the hill we stopped at a coffee plantation, here we had a light breakfast and a coffee and tea tasting. The breakfast was delicious and if you liked the coffee you could buy one of the coffees or teas you tasted in the shop. After we went to Kintamani we’re we had a beautiful view over the mount Batour and lake. After that we were brought to our bikes to start the bike tour. The bikes were from really nice quality. Our guide really made us feel save while biking, behind us there was a car with the other guide. So if something would happen you could step in the car or by a flat tire they gave you directly a new bike that was already on the car. We were biking trough rice fields, temples, stopped at a Balinese house where we got some tea and a traditional snack also we even stopped at a primary school. Our guide was really nice, he spoke really good English and was very friendly. He explained everything about the rice fields, the building of Balinese houses and even more if we had questions. The tour stopped at a warung, were we got a traditional Balinese lunch. The guide also made sure that we made a enough pictures with our family. After this beautiful day they brought us back to our hotel. It was a really unforgettable trip! So if you’re looking for a nice thing to do, this is a really nice opportunity!!!

Well worth doing with much more included then expected. We were a double family of 10 (7 adult children). Our guide Ogus was very professional and a great source of information about the Balinese culture etc. 95% down hill through villages and rice fields. Do the morning tour (approx 5 hours including driving to and returning back to accomodation) to avoid the heat of the afternoon and possible rain. Light breakfast and lunch at the end included was delicious.

This was a tour I had always wanted to do the past few times I have visited Bali but, with small children at the time, it was difficult. But my wife and I returned with our children this year, (now all 3 are teenagers), and the experience was fantastic. To glide through villages and rice paddies, stopping to greet locals and see the real, life of Bali, is something you cannot get from a car or motorbike. A big highlight of our holiday.

This is our third time with this tour. Unfortunately this one was not like the others and was not as described on the website nor as we have previously done. Not sure if we were late but the tour skipped the volcano and breakfast so we did not get to eat until the restaurant at 1:30pm. The guide said the tour no longer goes to the volcano as it is too busy. Doesn’t sound right considering it’s the low season. We will not take this tour again as it was not as described and has become quite expensive for what it provides. Small rice and a chicken wing for lunch. Pay for your own drinks! Not good. Not as described. Too expensive.

A nice ride down from Kintamani to Ubud. We had a guide take us through the various back roads as well as the different styles along the way to explain a bit about the culture.

The bikes were great with good suspension and brakes. Your were braking most of the way with a bit of peeling to maintain speed and a couple of short uphills closer to the end.

Just got to Ubud, but am fairly certain already that this will have been the highlight of the trip. Such a lovely local business, our Guides made this an experience to remember. Getting to travel up the mountain so that the biking is downhill makes it that much better. Not too hot, just a lovely breeze and the scent of offerings as we rode through village roads. It’s fun riding through the quiet countryside on bike and learning about the culture at different stops along the way. Highly, highly recommend this experience.

Had a wonderful cycle tour with Wayan and Gede yesterday. They were so informative.
A lovely downhill cycle through villages, past temples, rice fields and countryside. Some religious ceremonies were happening, with the ladies carrying offerings to the local temple in their beautiful sarongs. We stopped off at a few places including a local Balinese home, it was interesting to hear about home life and culture from Wayan and to meet some of the family. The tour ended with a lovely lunch at a restaurant in the countryside, surrounded by rice fields.
I would highly recommend this cycle tour, they are fantastic hosts and it is a brilliant way to see the real Bali.
Thank you Wayan and Gede, it was a great day!
