Had a fantastic full days excursion taking in all the sights, history, traditional crafts spectacular natural views and the culture of the Balinese people. Our driver and tour guide for the day was Cepot who kept us informed throughout about our days itinerary (with a steady supply of cold water when needed!).
Our day consisted of a temple tour, visits to traditional artisans ( with absolutely no pressure to make a purchase, hard as everything is so beautifully made),tour of rice fields,Monkey Temple( you get to get up close and personal with these free roaming comical creatures within their historical temple home) coffee plantation (with tasting), the most amazing Buffett lunch ( vegetarians and vegans catered for) overlooking the spectacular volcanic landscape ( the volcano is still active!) and finally a great visit and walk down to the islands highest volcano. Throughout the day Cepot explained with great knowledge about all stops on the itinerary which really helped, and ensured we were always happy with how our day was going, The communication from booking was outstanding, even sending over a photo and introduction from our driver the evening before our trip, Cepot arrived at our accommodation promptly in the morning as communicated, it was great to know who we would be meeting before our day began.

Couldn't rate this more highly. Our guide/driver Budi was excellent, so helpful and knowledgeable! I did a very similar trip several years ago in Bali (including visiting some of the same places) but at no stage did the driver come along with us - Budi was right by our side the whole time making sure we had as much fun as possible and making sure we weren't overpaying. Yes you do visit a few tourist trappy places, but there's only minimal pressure to purchase anything. Highly recommend some of the batik weaving products for inexpensive gifts. Luwak coffee also a huge delicious highlight.

The highlights of this private tour were the Puseh Batuan Temple, Monkey Forest, and the woodcarvers, the last of which we swapped out on the fly instead of going to Mount Kawi. Arlan was great about explaining details about the Temple, Hinduism, Balinese culture and practices. The Monkey Forest, was better than we expected, as one of us does not like monkeys, but Arlan was great, and took a lot of pictures of us with the critters and amazing park features - banyan trees, river / bridge, etc. The woodcarving shop we went to was incredible, the art they create was stunning. It reminded us of a trip to the alebrijes makers in Oaxaca, Mexico.
Several of the stops were of course to allow you to see how things are made and then take you to the gift shop. This is fine, it is how one gets access, but be aware that the staff at the jewelry and painting places put on a hard sell, even following us to the van as we left.
The included buffet lunch was fine, and thankfully the mist from the afternoon rain showers lifted to give us a lovely view of Mt. Batur. We would recommend this tour with Arlan as a high-level overview of some Bali highlights.

Having started the day really tired and second guessing whether I should go, Pakis did an awesome job at making my wife and I feel really welcome and excited about the tour.
He gave us an in-depth review of all the places we visited in Ubud and had a really nice balance of giving us the independence to walk around, but also guiding us where required (e.g the village temples).
An obvious point is that the shops you visit will aim to sell you hard on their over-priced merchandise, but you have the option of customising the tour to skip sections/stay longer at areas you like.
Highlight of the day was the monkey temple (obviously). Pakis did a great job making sure we had awesome pictures and providing a narrative as we walked along.
Thank you again Pakis!

At first, I was skeptical about this tour company but I’m glad we booked with them! Mr. Anta was our amazing tour guide and sooooooo nice. Very calm vibe and friendly!
Mr. Anta was absolutely patient with us during each stop. As tourists, we got a bit carried away with time at a few locations, especially the coffee plantation and the silver/jewelry shop. He was informative and answered our questions to the best of his ability. And most importantly, he’s a good driver, lol. Many of the streets around the villages are even more narrow than most areas in Bali but Mr. Anta did great at maneuvering the vehicle. This is one tour that we really enjoyed especially because of the monkey forest and rice terrace + swing. We were slightly nervous during tour time at the monkey forest but Anta made us feel very comfortable to the point of posing with a monkey sitting on our laps! How exciting! Thank you Anta! Will definitely book again!

We encountered some rain today with the tour, however, this did not dampen the experience we had with the awesome tour and tour guide, Gusti Sudirga. We started out at 8:30am sharp and did not get back to the hotel until close to 9pm. suburbs was exceptionally accomodating. We decided to skip some of the stops like jewelry making while spend more time on the sightseeing, and Surdiga was more than happy to accomodate. The rice fields were absolutely breathtaking and our daughter enjoyed the swing high over the fields (the swing is a separate cost from the tour). Visit to the coffee plantation and coffee tasting was one of the trip's highlight with the beautiful scenery unfolds before us while sipping some smooth and tasty Luwak. To cap off the day, Sudirga recommended and took us to a wonderful restaurant since we were not sure about where to have dinner. The food was fantastic and cost was very reasonable. What makes our guide exceptional is that this dinner was not part of the tour and he went beyond his duty to make it happen. Aurora and the tour more than deserving of the 5 star plus plus.

This was a great way to see a lot of Bali in a short space of time, it was easy to organise and we had our own private guide in Antik. He was excellent, looked after us very well and gave us the time we wanted at each of the stops.
There is some opportunities to buy the items and at each stop there are extras which are optional to take part in. For example at each of the demonstrations there are also shops attached, at the rice terraces there is also a swing and a zip line you can do across the valley etc.
The view at lunch is beautiful with a nice selection of food - nothing is labelled however so for those with allergies it could be a bit of a challenge.
All in all a great tour, a guide who knew where he was going, and gave us the time we needed to explore the places.

After an amazing day of sightseeing and learning about the traditional Balinese culture, I can say that our private tour guide, Putra, demonstrated exceptional qualities. He had great knowledge of Balinese history, religion, craftsmanship, agriculture, traditions and most importantly, geographic aspects. Additionally, he cared for our wellbeing and safety by ensuring we were hydrated and provided assistance when it was needed. He also had the willingness to walk all the way back to his car to get us umbrellas when it started raining in the middle of the monkey forest walk! Putra also showed great patience towards myself, and others around him. If it’s your first time in Bali or you want to learn in depth what’s really beneath this special island, I really recommend to others to take
this tour.

First of all - congratulations for your service!
Mr Agung Rai was the guide and I must say that we spent a very pleasant day!
Beginning with things that are basic that should be highlighted - punctuality (the tour guide arrived 20’ in advance), cleaning (the car was in perfect conditions) and comfort (bottle of cold water available anytime).
Rai did everything that I expect from someone in his position: knowledge (was able to explain about the sites and other questions), availability (followed me during all activities, not only a drop off and see you later), schedule (all places were visited or eventually skipped according to custumer’s desire), kindness and cordiality (very helpful to take pictures and even more, giving suggestions).
In this way, this should be recognized (compared to other guides and agencies) and I strongly recommend it.

Our driver Wayan was very insightful and took effort to explain the culture behind all of the sites that we visited. He also allowed us to customise our tour and prioritise activities which we were more eager to do like Butterfly Farm and Orchid Garden.
We didn't realise that this was a personal tour but that made it much more enjoyable. Wayun was friendly and kept us hydrated as it was a very hot day.
At the end of the tour we expressed that we didn't want to go out for dinner after a long day, Our driver was able to recommend us a great restaurant on the way home for us to get takeaway.
We had previously spent our time in Seminyak and instantly felt cultured when on the tour. Would recommend to a friend!

Hi, we would like to know the max number of people for this tour that can be fitted into one vehicle. For instance, we have about 12 confirmed people that are joining us for this trip but there might be 2 or 3 more people joining. If we book for 12 people, would it be possible to change the amount of people later if the others decide to join? Would we all be placed in one vehicle or will we have to be separated into more than one vehicle? Please advise on the best solution. Thank you.
