Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Sherpa446509696450 contributionsOutstanding hike tripWe had an outstanding trip thanks to Manish. Starting from the basics - he was very professional, knew the entire valley really well. Had shared so many trivia about the area and facts about the flora fauna. Very passionate about what he does. Our hike experiences are part of my families core memories forever. This one will be a hard one to beat. My family and I hike very often. And out of experience recommending Manish and the Yeti outdoors team for hiking and Treck related activities.Written 15 March 2025
- RovingAT0 contributionsA dream come trueI have no words to describe our experience. Incredible, raw, stunning. Manish and team ( Rishabh, Ashish) are a revelation. They go way beyond what is expected. For us everything was planned to the T. They were totally committed to ensuring that we have an unforgettable experience. They took care of the smallest of things. They knew just how much to push and when to give space. We were regaled non-stop by their stories. The display of their culinary skills in the middle of nowhere was fantabulous. They even cooked up a birthday cake with local ingredients for a beautiful celebration under the open skies. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could.Written 14 January 2025
- Adventure071280049470 contributionsWonderful 2 day trek with guide ManishOur experience (2 women) with the Yeti team (Manish, our guide, and Ashish, his assistant) was absolutely wonderful. We were open to a group trip but it ended up being a private tour, which ended up being a great option - it allowed us to have more conversations with Manish, who is very knowledgeable about the region, nature, biodiversity, local culture, and much more. We enjoyed Manish's company and the opportunity to share a bit of our perspectives about nature/sustainability and learn from his perspectives as well. The team provided everything needed for the trip - meals (which were incredibly tasty), camping gear, and trekking guidance. We would (and have done so already!) highly recommend Manish and would love to have the opportunity to join another trek with Yeti Outdoors.Written 2 January 2025
- lorenzw8500 contributionsbetween wilderness and tourist masses in UttarakandI spent some nice Days with Rishabh as my guide on the Deoria Chopta Trek. Transport: We met at Dehradun ISBT and went to Ukhimat by bus and then took a jeep to Sari village. The Road up there is prety scenic and has some worth stopovers, but is also kind of rugh at some points. If you prefer a minimum of comfort, i suggest going for a shared taxi, as the drivers take more care of the vehicle and slow down when there are bumps in the road and its just 10-20% more for the ticket. The Trek: From Sari village we hiked trough Deoria Tal to Chopta. A nice scenic trek with lots of animals and plants to discover. In total it was 19 km for this first day. In Chopta are several camps with big tents and central kitchen, so was ours. As Chandrasilla is the highest Shiva Tempel in the world, the trek from Chopta on is prepared and solid and pretty crowded. Original plan was to take the same way up and down, but to make it more interesting, i asked for an alternative way down. The alternative way down is much quieter and from landscape perpective morr interesting. I highly recommend to do it that way :) I also liked the old road to chopta which i would also recommend to intecrate into the trek. It is more interessting then walking allong the main road :) The Guide: Rishabh is a very pleasant, experienced guide and an honest, sincere person. If you want, he can tell you a lot about the local flora and fauna. Next time I plan a trek in India I will consult him again :) 5 out of 5 The Food: Breakfast and on trek food was basically chocolate bars and cookies, which was to sweet for my taste. Some poridge for breakfadt and some fruits and nuts would be nice and privide some slower carbs and other nutritions. When cooking next to the river we had some maggie noodles which was ok as in the evening at the campsites there was always fresh cooked food. If requested, also less or non spicy food was provided. The accomodation: We slept in simple guesthouses or in big tents with beds and a wash room inside. I suggest bringing some toiletpaper or an extra towel as in mid november your ass can get freaking cold after the ass shower on the toilet ;) Communication: Could be improved :) My guide did not know that i wanted a four day trip and had a three day trip in mind. When we met initialy at the bus station in Dehradun i was asked if it is ok if a friend/cousin of my guide joins us while he was already standing next to us with his packed backpack. It was fine for me and i appreciated his company on trek, but i recommend to communicate such things at least one day in advance :)Written 26 December 2024

- 854riannab0 contributionsBenog tibba trekA big thank you to Manish and Rishabh who led our day hike to Benog Tibba, we had a great time and it was one of our highlights of our trip to India. They really kindly squeezed our tour in at short notice (they had to leave in the evening for a multi day hike they were running the next day but still organised a half day tour for us). We are really into birdwatching so Manish planned the route specifically so we could see as many bird species as possible, which we really appreciated and thanks to their expert spotting we counted 24 different species. The hike itself was a beautiful walk through rhododendron forest and the views of the Garhwal Himalayas from the top of Benog Tibba were stunning. They cooked a tasty spicy pasta for lunch for us and provided all the snacks to keep up going which was a very nice bonus! Manish also has a wealth of historical knowledge about Mussorie which enriched our experience even more. We’ll defo be back again for another hike, thanks guys!Written 1 April 2024

Was waiting for this trek since a long time and finally went last week with my college buddies. Had an amazing time there, the Yeti guys made sure of it. Everything from planning, equipment, transport and food was great. We went there for the views but came back with some life long memories. Just one feedback for Yeti - I wish there were more options for transport.
Keep it up.
