      Great first trek in India
This was a great first trek in the Himalayas. October is a great month... the weather was a little hot to begin, got cooler and beautiful as we climbed... it was chilly at night, but they will build a fire if you want and they have excellent sleeping bags that keep you warm. Sanjay was our tour guide and he was great! His dad prepared the food and everything was delicious. They were very accommodating. Keep in mind, if you don't exercise at all, this will challenge you a little. It is a mountain and there are some steep parts. Eat and rest well...do some exercise before you come. It was not a challenge for the experienced trekkers. great views and great trek.

Good travel guide and different path
We used the different path walking through the forest, waterfalls/streams etc. Travel guide “Sanjay Bhaiya” was also very good.

Munraj bhaiya and Surendra bhaiya were so helpful and patient, they motivated us on each step. There's a saying that "you create an unspoken bond with people you travel with". I experienced this with all my heart and I would love to come back and do this again all over again. A big thankyou to backpackclan, you have some amazing people working with you.

      Thrilling and memorable
Us a group of 5 did this trek on 8th and 9th Jan. The whole process of package booking to execution was seamless. Everything mentioned in the package is taken care of, above all the whole team is very humble and comforting. Our guide was Mr. Sanjay, who is very skilled in what he does, he kept us all motivated during the whole trek and entertained us with his trek stories! He helped us whenever he sensed that help is required and never left our side. On reaching the base camp we met Sardar ji! A gem of a person! Very down to earth and polite. He made sure we were warm and ate well, the food and snacks provided were very homely and delicious. If, you are thinking about doing this trek, Go for them! You’ll have zero regrets and innumerable memories and moments to cherish!

      Excellent and awesum services
Go for them . They are excellent in what they are doing . When we arrived at Pantwari which is the starting point of naag tibba base camp, it was raining heavily over there . Mr Nitish Sharma who was looking after all the arrangements assured us about our safety and guided us about the whole trek .Keeping our safety in mind , Sanjay bhaiya who was our guide for two days led the trek and not even once we felt the discomfort in our whole trek . He has a smiling face and managed each and everything nicely . When we reached the base camp in the comforting presence of sanjay bhaiya , we met another amazing human being , fondly known as sardar ji by everyone . He made sure that our meals and sleeping arrangements were done nicely . Overall it was a very nice experience. If you want to go for any trek in Uttarakhand , Himachal Pradesh and J & K , you can very well trust them and enjoy their amazing services and kindness with which they treat the travellers.

      The Nagtibba Trek
The Nagtibba Trek was a great trek. My family and I enjoyed it a lot. We chose 'Kaushik's cafe and trek' for the trek and we are glad that we chose this. The hospitality, sleeping and food arrangements and the experienced tour guide offered by them made our trek a lot easier. I would recommend all to avail the services of this tour guide company for their Nagtibba Trek. You would not be disappointed.

I was so pleased with the trek. Sanjay is outstanding, knowledgeable, friendly, safety-conscious, and had great sense of humor. I will highly recommend his company to those who inquire as he exceeded all expectations. Stayed in constant communication and immediately let me know of any changes before we started our journey. Information was all inclusive and helpful.

My son took this trek hosted by Kaushik's Cafe. We found K'SC also on TA. Kudos to K,ScC for the excellent adventure. I use the word adventure as it is one- one does not what to quite expect. Neverthe less "the make it happen spirit" and throw in a bit of on the spot quick thinking/aka jugaad made this truly an adventure. Given our schedule we arrived in DehraDun on late evening Saturday, the trek began on Monday and ended on Tuesday. My son had the luxury of an angraizee speaking guide (my son's hindi is very limited), a local person who was also the cook and an overnight stay in a tent all by himself. Being the only customer on the trek, the entourage had some flexibility in timing etc. the weather was in our favour too given the end Feb season. There was some foliage but not dense, that allowed an owl sighting. Also the snow covered peaks (Kedarnath, Bandar Punch etc) were clearly visible from the Naag Tibba summit. Poles were provided for the steep descent on the way back. For the price charged by K,sC the service provided was very worthwhile. Also the ground coordinated Amar of K'sC kept in constant touch with the parents in DD to keep them abreast of the entourage's whereabouts. Limited 5G service was available spotily en route on the trek. Thanks once again.

It was a great trek. The forest is beautiful and the views from the top are amazing. Missing the mountains/hill/forest since the day I left. So peaceful. Impossible to feel stressed there. Trek isn't too difficult, but going down can be a little hard on the knees. Felt no altitude sickness (9,500 feet at top). Kaushik's Cafe provides good equipment (warm tent/sleeping bag), and the food is v. good. There is a translator who accompanies the Hindi speaking guide for those not fluent. Sometimes I wish they walked a little slower and not ahead of me! It was life changing to see the peaks! Recommend bringing binoculars. Saw an owl. Weather not an issue in Feb. Want to do harder one next time. Ride up to the village is fun/a little harrowing (mountain side two-way road). Overall, highly recommended. Good for beginners who are reasonably fit. Would have been better with a group. Was just me, guide and translator. Cook was at basecamp, where view of moon was v good. Oh, and they're building a western style toilet!

The hospitality of Uttarakhand as a whole is awesome , but this one was special as it was a solo trek (Nag tibba)along with the guide provided to me by the Kaushik Cafe team ( Amit singh).
My guide Mr Sardarji along with thorough trail also helped me to explore a lot of local trees and taste a few good vegetables (Mutter And pudina) .The pahadi food cooked was way better , all in all a very good experience of hospitality and trek knowledge making the Summit giving an opportunity to plan many more and let many people know about them.

    Cheers
    Chirag.

Recently went on a trek to Nag Tibba with Kaushiks Cafe and had an amazing experience. The guide, tent, camp, everything was really good. The route taken to Basecamp was very beautiful. The only thing I didn't like was the cab service from dehradun to pantwari.. The driver was very rash and paid no attention to us when we asked him to slow down. Kaushiks cafe services were fantastic but they need a better tie-up for cab services.

What a gem! We, a group of 4 girls, had an absolutely amazing experience in our trek with Kaushik's cafe and trek. The whole experience - communication and planning before the trek, the trek guide (Sanjay bhaiya), the camp facilities - everything was superbly managed. The biggest bonus? Ajit and our guide suggested an alternate route on the way up to the base camp which is much more scenic (although slightly longer) and it was the best part of our trek. Highly highly recommended. Thanks Ajit, Sanjay bhaiya and Sardarji for making our experience memorable.

Overall the trip was very good. We booked last minute and it was well organised and the communication was great. The taxi journey was 3-4 hours each way along very windy roads. We completed the trip quicker than anticipated, which meant we were given food at 09.45am but then not dropped back until 18.30 which was a long time to go with no food after a reasonable hike.

Went on a Nagtibba trek with my husband when we were in india for a family visit. All arrangements for our transport, stay and guided tour was well arranged by Kaushik's cafe. Everything went fine, the food was good and freshly prepared on campsite. Stay was in tents with sleeping bags. Toilet was separate and tent type (the one you will find during treks, so I found it a bit difficult to relieve myself). Special thanks to Sanjay for being so patient as we were relatively slow compared to other trekkers in group. Overall great experience.

If you want to experience snow hiking, definitely choose this tour. It's really full of fresh snow, even snow falling during the trek. The Mountain View is really amazing, it worth the price for sure.
Guide is very helpful and take good care of everyone, since I am a foreigner and can't speak any local language, they arrange everything including food, transportation and equipment. it's totally OK to be this tour.
The trek is very easy, suit for binginer and foreigner tourist without any equipment. And tent in the camp side is very clean, food is foreigner friendly.
I had very good time in this trip. Highly recommend😀

Guide sanjay was too good and talented as well. 1 of our team member was having issues with his shoes in snow, but he helped him and made his experience enjoyable in such way that he didn't felt that issue. We all made it to summit thanks to him. Teh person we contated I forgot the name helped us even for taking sharing cabs.when I reached pantwari due to curvy roads I was feeling so low so he gave me electroal powder. it's a small gesture which makes ur experience good. We will surely plan our next events with these guys.
