      Har Ki Dun Trek
I participated in the Har Ki Dun trek organized by Himalaya Shelters, led by Mukesh and his team. The experience was truly remarkable, exceeding my expectations. The stunning beauty of the mountains, waterfalls, and the genuine simplicity of the local people left a lasting impression on me. The trek was meticulously organized, with thorough planning evident in every aspect. Mukesh and his team were not only friendly but also ensured that no one was left behind. The food provided was of high quality, including dishes like chhole puri, gulab jamun, bread pakodas, sandwiches, and more, served fresh and hot during the trek. The tents were clean, and the sleeping bags provided were comfortable. Mukesh proved to be an exceptional trek leader, offering unwavering support and guidance throughout the journey. I am truly grateful for the overwhelming experience, all credit to Himalaya Shelters. I eagerly look forward to embarking on another trek with them in the future. Thank you for the unforgettable trip. - Sonam Rajput

Great experience , kudos to team
The perfectly planned trek under Mukesh and team guidance. I couldn’t have asked for anything better in the entire trip. The most amazing part was the quality of food provided on the altitude where the resources are not easy to find. We had Rajma chole Various dals, gulab jamun, sahi toast, soup of top notch quality and many more things. We were a group of 23 and 4 guides Mukesh, Thoiba, Sonu and Devender guided us thoroughly to achieve our target of Har ki dun. The team is having hard working people and they deserve all the respect for the support they provided. They are good in Hindi and English and so the foreigners also were feeling comfortable while getting the brief pf the trek. The trek had amazing views and the valley was mesmerising. The trip was planned so that no one is left behind. The only challenge is we got out of network for 5 days and unable to contact family. However if you tell your family in advance, then they should not be worried and it will be a blessing that you are unreachable for the world and enjoy the nature without any interference. Tents were good in the camp and sleeping bags were of good quality. Lodge rooms were good and hot water was provided. Will try next trip again with the same team. Thanks Krishna Pansari

Kedarkantha Trek- One of a kind experience
Recently completed the first trek of my life- Kedarkantha; with the Himalaya Shelter team!! Very humble and polite team!! Amazing arrangements. Thanks to the trek leader- Ritik Rawat for being so cooperative throughout the trek. And special thanks to the cook!! The food couldn't have been any better. Dev bhai ji ka gana and mahesh bhai ji ke lalu and surgitaal are also missed. Kuddos to the arrangements and hospitality. Loved every bit of it. Missing the वादिया already. Also, planning the next trek :)

      Kedarkantha Trek - March 2024
This was my second Himalayan trek and my first one with Himalaya Shelter and it was definitely far more memorable because of the fact that it was done with Himalaya Shelter. The trek itself was mind-blowing, stunning views all around and the summit night was extra special due to the trekking in the moonlight. Everything was top notch, the guest house stay, the food we got while trekking, the general friendliness of our guides and the Himalaya Shelter team right from Mr. Bachan Rana. A special shoutout to Sonu bhai (Mr. Surender Negi) who was our trek leader, he's an amazing trek leader, very knowledgeable, assertive and just a humble and wonderful human being. He made sure to take good care of us and ensured everyone's safety during the trek. Overall, if you're thinking of doing a trek in Uttarakhand, I can't recommend Himalaya Shelter enough!

      Kedarkantha trek best experience
This was my first trek in the himalayas. We had opted for Kedarkantha Trek. The experience was surreal. At the beginning, I was worried whether we'll be able to make it to the summit but our guide Sonu Negi was incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the entire journey. He kept us motivated throughout the journey. We were the first team to reach the summit on the final day. At one point I was about to give up but Sonu sir helped me push myself to the top. The entire team at the base camp was great. The food they served were homely and absolutely delicious. We had 4 meals served each day. Overall, I had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Himalayan Shelter for anyone planning a trek. It's an experience you will never forget.

It’s a very great experience. It is my first Multi day trek.it is a great experience with adrenaline rush on the peak. The chilling winter freezing feet all worth it. Other than that guide (sonu Negi) is very good and a very humble guide. He helped a lot in steep terrain. Food was very good , chole puri was amazing and tent life was love❤️❤️❤️❤️. Awesome
As this was my 1st trek , I don't expect much in terms of facilities like food & all . Surprisingly everything was beyond my expectations. The food was very good , rooms & tents were clean & comfortable & @sonu_himalaya was the icing on the cake. He was such a good trek leader, any amount of appreciation would be less . He push us when needed & helped us with everything . So it was an absolutely overwhelming experience for me all thanks to Himalayan Shelter. Thanks for the amazing trip

This being the first trek with Himalaya shelter, I am glad to share that it has been one of my best experience ever. The warmth and the care from the entire team had helped all the days on the trek to be wholesome. Starting from the punctuality, to food, from organization to the safety considerations, from the support to the fun part, Himalaya shelter had been very professional and also cooperative. In brief, it had been a great experience.

One of the most amazing trek experience. Ramesh uncle who was our trek leader made sure we are good and kept us motivating throughout the trek of Nag Tibba. I would not call it a easy trek however his motivation helped us get through the whole trek with smiling faces. The food was homely and the stay at the camp was even more blissful. Uncle took care of the aesthetics by putting fairy lights for us and the born fire. Really appreciate all his efforts. Allover an amazing experience and surely recommend Himalayan Shelter for such blissful experiences on treks! Thank you!!!

I had an amazing time with Makesh and the whole team. They adapted to what different people in the group wanted to do and the scenery and food was unbelievable.

The sleeping bags are warm but definitely bring thermals and a head torch the summit is worth it!

My mother and I experienced some of our most wonderful days in India on the Himalayas with Himalayan Shelter. The trip was from the beginning well coordinated and the team were communicative. We had one change of plans as the taxi was not allowed to pick us up at the hotel, yet even then the team stepped in and took care of guiding the guide to the right location. If you book with Himalayan Shelter, please ask for Mukesh as your guide, he is friendly, supportive, and a great guy to spend time with on the mountains which he knows like his back pocket.

Great experience, the guide was really nice and caring, we really had a good time.
We got picked up at in Dehra Dun, and after a few hours of travelling in the bus through the road with amazing view, we started the trek.
Sleeping in the tent was nice. They were already prepared and everything, we slept well.
The next day we went to the top. Unfortunately it was cloudy so we couldn't see the perfect view, but the way up was really nive and suprising, with monkeys, cows and nice flowers. Our guide Aadarsh is a nice photographer by the way !
We definitely felt tired at the end of the trek but it wasn't too hard.
The best part of the experience was the guide for sure. He was so joyful and open to discussion, speaking english very well. We really had fun with him, in the evening also.

Really great. Our guide Mukesh Rana was fantastic and made the trek a memorable experience. The food was significantly better than we anticipated (given it's made fresh up a mountain) and the tent accommodation was simple but comfortable. The scenery was breathtaking.

    Hi
    The experience was very good.
This could have never been better.
The guide was very helpful throughout the trek. He was there for everybody individually.

Even the food was mouth smacking and bonfire arrangements just took my heart.

Went on trek with Himalaya shelter to Nag tibba. Bus travel, camps, trek were well arranged and managed. The trek leaders Mr Bachan and Rishabh were amazing and led a group of around 40-50 people very well. It had snowed heavily the previous day which made the trek from basecamp to Nag temple totally amazing. This trek is a must do, especially in winters.

This was our first snow trek till date. We prepared accordingly by researching on internet but the last touch of excellence and guidance was given by our guide stephen. I would recommend anyone going to this trek in the month of Dec-Jan-Feb to have a guide with them who will tell you which is the point to stop as after a certain point the snow level increases upto 5-6 feet and more which would be dangerous to step on.
