- 148anastasiak0 contributionsWonderful tripIt was an amazing trip. I do recommend Abhinav team. Perfect organisation! It was a 5-day tour and we saw a lot: Taj Mahal, Delhi, Agra, Jaipur. Beautiful country, great history and culture. Hope to come back one time!Written 19 February 2025
- abelleonhols0 contributionsIndia golden triangle in 6 daysThe driver Deepak was just great negociatibg the traffic. All the guides did a good job in each city. Each place was different. I loved the Taj MahalWritten 19 February 2025
- ksurashanti0 contributionsExcellent organization and security, a little confused with the tips, few issues in everyday lifeAbhinav is a great organizer. I recommend traveling with him. Everything is safe and organized. We had an individual driver for the entire trip, a Russian-speaking guide in each city. We chose a tour with three-star hotels, the hotels were normal. Now in more detail and point by point: 1. Stock up on change for tips, everyone expects them. The guides expected 500 rupees a day from us, the driver wanted 6000 rupees for a week of travel (although Abhinav said that 300-500 a day would be enough for him). The driver was very upset that we gave him 4000 rupees... Boys in hotels carry your suitcases and also expect a tip, 50-150 rupees are enough for them. When riding on elephants, the one who controlled the elephant did not let us out until we paid him 200 rupees (although there are signs everywhere not to tip, but they don’t care how you get off the elephant without them, no way). Even in the toilets there are people who turn on the water for you and expect a tip for it (but we just quickly ran away from the toilets). In Russia there is no tipping culture at all, so things like this were embarrassing. 2. There was water in the car not every day, in general it was not critical, because water is available in hotels, and the guide once bought water for us, but there is still slight discomfort. There are no supermarkets in the usual sense and it is difficult to get water yourself. But everything was ok, in the end there was enough water, there was simply no predictability as to what time, when and from whom we would receive it. 3. Food. They take you to expensive, good restaurants. We were paranoid, took only thermally processed food, during the week none of the three of us got poisoned and, in general, there was no discomfort with our stomachs. Basically it turned out that we ate twice a day, breakfast and lunch/dinner. The driver offered to take us to dinner, but we refused because we had taken some jerky and candy bars with us and were snacking on them. The cost is the same as in average Moscow restaurants, about 1000 rupees per person per reception. I don’t count alcohol; beer costs an additional 350-450 rupees per bottle. 4. Hotels. I'm travelling with 2 friends; when booking, we asked for three separate beds in one room, but this request could not be fulfilled; there was one double and one single. In Delhi: HOTEL SURYA INTERNATIONAL. The worst hotel of the trip, cramped, but unassuming travelers can stay (but demanding travelers will probably choose a hotel category higher than three stars). Breakfast is questionable, we only ate flatbread. In Agra: HOTEL SUN RING. The hotel is magnificent, beyond all praise, and smart TV, and a spacious room, and cleanliness, and a good breakfast. In Jaipur: HOTEL ANURAAG VILLA. The three of us were placed in a room with one double bed, at first they didn’t understand what we didn’t like, then they offered to sleep on the floor, and only after I wrote to Abhinav and he contacted the hotel they brought a mattress and threw the mattress next to the bed. Then there was a separate quest with the extraction of bed linen. We are lucky, I like to sleep on the floor and it doesn’t bother me, but many people obviously wouldn’t be happy with this arrangement. If you are a single/couple, then there will be no problems with beds and linens, but we, three friends, ran into problems. But the hotel itself is good, there was a very nice courtyard where you can relax in nature, and there is a restaurant at the hotel. Breakfast in this hotel is not a buffet like in the previous two, but you choose between an Indian breakfast and a European breakfast (the difference is whether you get Indian flatbreads or not, as well as vegetables and fruits, but we refused that). 5. The car is excellent, SUV, spacious, new, with type-s - type-s charging (the wire should have this outlet on both sides). In hotels, sockets did not always work; they were mostly charged in the car. The driver was professional and dealt with the trash on the roads perfectly. He offered to play his music for us twice during the entire trip. Sometimes he took on the functions of a guide and tried to tell us something, but we only understood half of it, Indian English is very specific. In short, the negative aspects of interaction with the driver are mainly only tips at the airport and the story with Wi-Fi, but more on that below. 6. Internet. I asked Abhinav before the trip about a SIM card, he said that the driver would help, they asked the driver once upon arrival, but apparently he forgot and only offered it in the evening of the second day, when these SIM cards seemed to be no longer needed (in hotels Wi-Fi was included, not for an additional fee). Strangely enough, there is a piece of paper hanging on the mirror in the car with information about free wi-fi, but when we asked the driver about this free wi-fi, he sighed heavily and said that he, not the travel agency, was paying for it, clearly hinting that we had to pay him for the Internet if we wanted to use it. We didn't. As a result, there was Wi-Fi in the car for only one day, and then he turned it on for me so that I could withdraw my complaint to Abhinav (he and the guide said that they would arrive at 10, at 10:25 I wrote to Abhinav asking where they were, and at 10:30 they arrived). The delay was due to the terrible traffic of Delhi on the eve of India's Independence Day, there are no questions here, but the guide and driver really asked me to write to Abhinav that they were there, to which they received my answer “no internet” and only then the driver turned on his free wi-fi. In short, either the free sign needs to be removed, or compensate the driver for the connection, otherwise it’s also strange... And the advice for travelers is to clearly ask for what they need several times, that’s ok, otherwise you’ll be without the Internet, like us. 7. Souvenirs. I don’t know how to bargain, this is generally my problem in all the south, but don’t miss your chance and bargain, or ask a guide for help. Several more times there were forced souvenir shops, when they bring you, show you something, tell you something, and very intrusively expect you to buy something. Here we were hardened by Turkey, there is the same story with forced visits to souvenir shops that I didn’t want to, but were forced to, it’s uncomfortable, but nothing critical, you can pretend that you don’t understand English, it greatly simplifies life in such places) 8. I really had dinner with Abhinav, he is a wonderful young man, we talked very interestingly for an hour and a half. We are waiting him in Russia, I hope he will not be offended by me after such a review)) I read a lot of reviews and expected something cosmic from the tour, apparently, I repeat that I liked India and I would like to return, and I RECOMMEND Abhinav’s travel agency if you have chosen India for your vacation, but you need to be prepared for a different mentality, a different culture and small everyday difficulties. But these are all minor things compared to the safety and the impressions received from the beauty of temples, the Taj Mahal, and royal palaces, and Abhinav’s team was able to arrange this with a 5+ rating. By the way, thanks to the fact that the tour is individual, the dates are flexible, Abhinav can adapt to your plans, which is very convenient)Written 13 February 2025

- 145kavitac0 contributionsGreat way to explore the main Krishna temples in Vrindavan and MathuraThe guide and driver were very accommodating to our timings and what we wanted to see/do. The guide was very knowledgeable about Krishna’s life story and the driver made sure we made it on time whilst being very friendly. Advice for other travellers- remember to bring your passport and note that some temples have closing times so you need to be there before the cutoff. Also there are thousands of temples in Vrindavan so do some research before you go on what you want to see. Finally, don’t carry too much stuff and beware of pickpockets in Vrindavan. The Mathura temple is 100% worth it (albeit you can’t take your phone inside).Written 25 January 2025
- brendan l0 contributionsIndia RoadtripIndia Roadtrip I travelled by car for fourteen days visiting twelve different cities in northern India. The itinerary was put together very cleverly to allow enough time to drive to each place comfortably and see everything. Four highlights such as a boat trip and camel ride were included, and in each city I had an expert local guide. The accommodation was perfectly suitable and the driving excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending a trip like this organised by this company, which I found to be efficient and polite in all my dealings with them.Written 17 December 2024

- laxnp0 contributionsSeamless and Memorable Door-to-Door Taj Mahal Tour ExperienceWe had a delightful experience on our Taj Mahal tour and highly recommend the seamless door-to-door service the local tour operator provides. Despite booking the trip at the last minute, Abhinav efficiently secured our train tickets by promptly collecting personal details. Our day began with a driver picking us up around 6:30 AM to take us to the train station. He dropped us off and guided us through the station, ensuring we reached the correct platform, train car, and seats on the Gatimaan Express. This extra assistance was invaluable, as navigating the chaotic train stations can be challenging for foreigners. Upon arriving at Agra station, our English-speaking guide warmly greeted us at the train exit and escorted us to a dedicated car arranged for our trip. The guide, Sakil, was incredibly knowledgeable and made exploring the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and a local handicraft center insightful and enjoyable. The Taj Mahal was breathtaking, and Sakil went above and beyond by helping us capture many memorable photos. After the tour, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at Bon Barbeque, which was included in the package. The unlimited vegetarian and non-vegetarian barbecue options were fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. A quick coffee stop at a local café rounded off our visit. We returned to New Delhi by train, arriving around 7:40 PM, where another driver was waiting to take us back to our hotel. Overall, the entire day was exceptionally well organized. Abhinav and his team orchestrated a door-to-door experience that made our trip to the Taj Mahal stress-free and unforgettable. We highly recommend this service to anyone visiting the area!Written 10 December 2024
- jameswG9583PG0 contributionsSeven Wonder Tour of India. We had a great time on our 12-day India tour with our hosts from Seven Wonder Tours (India) and Kook’s Wild Ride (U.S.). It was a remarkable trip with stops in New Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Kochi, and Munnar. Days were organized well and full of exciting things to see. Some of the days were long, so be prepared for a full day of sightseeing. The choice of restaurants by our hosts was excellent, it gave us an opportunity to experience the different types of food India has to offer. The hotels were top notch too, but be prepared to drink bottled water all the time you are there, not a problem, just an fyi. During our time there, we felt very safe and the Indian people were amazing, so welcoming and friendly. Lots of big smiles! If you plan on going to India, give Seven Wonder Tours (India) and Kook’s Wild Ride (U.S.) a call!Written 2 December 2024

- Destination494260 contributionsA great tour of the Golden Triangle, with an interesting cookery demonstration..An excellent tour, which included an interesting cookery demonstration in Agra. Everything went smoothly: our vehicle was immaculate, our driver "Ram" was always on time, and was careful, considerate, & cheerful. Our guides were very informative and friendly. From my early enquiries and throughout the booking process, the company's MD "Abhinav" was incredibly helpful. His communication with me, via WhatsApp, was always timely and helpful. We met Abhinav in Agra, and you could not find a more charming, efficient, and helpful young gentleman. He even accompanied us to the cookery demonstration class. This tour was very good value. I strongly recommend this company.Written 27 November 2024
