An Unforgettable Journey Through India with Trocals
India with Trocals was amazing! This country can be challenging and sometimes overwhelming, but with Trocals, we felt very comfortable, well taken care of, and happy at all times. We traveled for 10 days with truly caring and knowledgeable guides. We were able to fully experience the colors, culture, rituals, and incredible places this country has to offer, thanks to a very well-planned and organized itinerary made just for us. I also loved that we got to experience so much like locals.I will absolutely recommend Trocals to anyone — they are the best!

        Super nice family cooking experience
We had so much fun making food together and learning about all the spices we need to bring back to Norway! We had a great time talking about culture, religion, Bollywood movies and just getting to know one another :) Definitely recommend if you go to Agra! The food tastes delicious 🍚

Ritik was a great guide full of insights from the origins of Agra to the present day. We strolled through markets, visited a Shiva Temple and saw some wonderful handicraft art. Ritik gives a great feel if the city, what it is like to live here today and what some of his favorite places are. We talked about weddings, fashion, food and mogul kings and dynasties and the art of driving in Agra! If you really want to feel at home in Agra and love history, culture and the city experience would really recommend this tour. Thank you Ritik for great fun and conversation along the way …

Wonderful guide, excellent itinerary —quite personal & customized.
I got a more intimate experience than any other and truly felt like it was a peek into authentic local life. The guide took care of transportation, entry and even snacks/refreshments. Awesome value!

The guide took us to hidden spots around taj mahal, throught the small streets of the old town, and we had an amazing and empty view from the sunset.
We went to a really fancy bar with Taj view for a beer after sunset.
I highly reccomend him for a non obvious walking tour in Agra

The description says pickup is included. This meant the guide would greet us at the hotel and then ask us to pay for a tuk tuk to the start location. All in all the walk lasted for less than an hour. We visited a mosque and were asked to pay for a man to look after our shoes for less than 10 mins. We were taken through a crazy market full of honking vehicles and gridlocked traffic with people. The guide said little during the way other than lead us through the horrific traffic. We did not learn anything about the history of the place or anything remotely interesting. We made our way back after the tour but not before the guide offered his services the next day. Would not recommend this tour to anyone. Honestly waste of time and money. Not sure where all the previous positive reviews came from. We have been on lots of guided tours in the past and we have lots to compare this tour with. This was not a good tour. Tip to the organiser to improve the experience - arrange a meeting point that is central which can be accessed easily, when you advertise "pick up in included" this means that the person should be picked up from the location, consider telling people much more about the history of the place and engage the customer by asking questions, simply pointing to something in a market and saying "this is the wedding section" is not enough, any costs that need to be spent by the guest needs to be mentioned in the booking upfront and finally if the tour is advertised as 2-3 hours then it should be 2-3 hours and not 50 mins.

Dear Sir, We sincerely regret that your experience did not meet your expectations, as we always strive to provide enriching and immersive tours. It's the 1st time in 6 years that we got a 1-star review. The guide is deeply sorry as well. We will not be using him until he gets better. We had an internal meeting to discuss this and the guide is very sorry as well. He is a new team member but that doesn't give us an excuse for this. For the pick-and-drop, there was confusion we always include the payments for the vehicle. We will be happy to refund that. For the payment at the mosque, its not mandatory and it's 10/20 rupees as charity to the guy. We know this was a fault from our guide and if you would have contacted at that time, we would have offered a better experience! Wish to serve you in future.

We had an excellent tour with Ritik to get a fascinating glimpse of Agra away from the tourist high spots. We walked through the old town through the bazaar stopped of at the mosque and a Hindu temple where a basic explanation of Hinduism and the gods and there incarnations was provided which was great and the first time anyone has done this on our many visits to temples. In addition the architecture and history of the buildings was explained as we walked around.
An excellent tour that I would recommend.
2 things to note, Ritik came and picked us up from our Homestay rather than meet him in the old town.
There was an issue with the pricing on the website and email confirmation we received, it was less than the actual price, however Ritik dealt with the issue superbly and honoured the price on our confirmation. So I would just check the price but to be honest it would have been good value at the correct price.
Would highly recommend to family and friends it is nice to see the other side of Agra.

Alongside seeing the Taj Mahal, for me, it was important to see the city that was its home.
I wanted to be on the ground and see the city that local people lived in, go the restaurants and temples they went to.
With Amir, we felt like we were in very safe hands to do this.
I went to a mosque for the very first time and I tried desserts that I will definitely be seeking out when I return home.

The Agra walking tour with Amir is one of my favourite tours that I've taken in India so far.

We booked for the Agra Historical Walk with Trocals and were delighted when Ritik contacted us immediately and met us at our hotel the day prior to discuss the options for his tours. He was a great help with advice and suggestions. We also opted for an evening tour behind the walls and gardens of the Taj with wonderful sunset views from the river. A fascinating insight into the history.
During our lively conversations Ritik also advised us of great cafes, restaurants, Megamart and local tips to make our few days in Agra a better experience.
We would highly recommend Ritik as a knowledgeable, friendly and trustworthy guide. He will also tailor his tours to appeal to your interests.

The tour was OK. Nothing more, nothing less. The tour time was stated as 2-3 hours. We were dropped off in front of our hotel "on time" after 2 hours. One sight was not even visited and at the last sight on the tour we had to ask the guide about it.
We had the feeling that the tour was dutifully completed and the "heart" was left behind. We have had very different experiences with such tours.

I’m so glad I booked this tour last minute. On the day of my arrival into Agra I made lots of last minute changes due to the heat and I’m so grateful for Ritik’s accommodations to my requests. Ritik was very flexible, friendly and knowledge. It was a joy listening to him explain the history of Agra and it’s clear he’s very passionate about it. Would recommend to friends and family wanting to visit one day!
