Lovely 2 day trip from Goa to see the Taj Mahal
We were looking for a short trip from Goa to see the Taj Mahal because we might never be closer. Not many options and those that are available don't have many reviews so we had to just pick one and hope for the best. Needn't have worried - everything about this trip was spot on. Actual timings were sent to us the day before for pickup and flights. Pickup from our hotel was brutally early (4am) but driver was on time and the ride to the airport quick. Our driver at Delhi, Madan, texted us the day before to tell us which exit he would meet us at. We were with him for both days and his driving and consideration was excellent. We met our guide Raj at our hotel in Agra later in the day for our sunset visit to the Taj Mahal. And subsequently on day 2 for the sunrise one up close then on to Agra Fort. The guys managed the arrivals to minimise queueing and Raj helped us navigate the chaos around entry into the Taj Mahal proper so we got to make the most of our visit. Raj was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information throughout our tour. We chose the more expensive hotel option. The Clarks Shiraz was nice and our room comfortable, if a little tired. It had the bonus of being able to see both the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort from the terrace bar. There were a couple of stop offs the see how the marble insets are done using traditional techniques and some embroidery which were interesting but be prepared for some sales pitches. All in a really good trip. The Taj Mahal and Agra Fort are well worth the visit and the organisation and staff were first class.

      Madan was an amazing driver
The India trips have all been amazing, but without Madan our driver none of it would have been possible. For 5 days Madan has been there for us every step of the way, nothing has been too much trouble, backwards and forwards as and when we needed him , to and from all trips and all destinations. Madan is an absolute credit to his employer and profession, every trip and every guide he took us to and arranged for us was fantastic. Collection from New Delhi, to Agra, to Taj Mahal, to Ranthambore, to juapur, back to New Delhi. Kept us safe comfortable 🙏

      An Amazing Day
This was an amazing day. My guide, Arun Rajput, and I visited two of the holy cities and learned a lot about Hinduism while experiencing the awe and joy of numerous pilgrims. The cities represent both where Krishna was born and where he lived. Paintings, carvings and life sized dioramas depicting scenes from the life of Krishna not only dotted the temples but were also throughout the towns. Parts of the tour involved a boat trip on the Yamuna river as well as tuk-tuk and bicycle rickshaw rides through the “real” part of the city. Topping off the day was an excellent buffet lunch and a visit to a unique craft factory producing local embroidery. Arun was an excellent and very knowledgeable guide while our driver, Manoj, was safe and always waiting for us when we were ready for the car.

The best tour so far - must visit a very well planned tour
This 4-day private luxury tour of the Golden Triangle was an extraordinary journey that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we were greeted at the airport and whisked away in a luxurious car, we were immersed in the rich culture, history, and splendor of India. The tour was meticulously planned, allowing us to experience the highlights of each city without feeling rushed. We explored the bustling capital of Delhi, visiting iconic landmarks like the Qutub Minar, India Gate, and Humayun's Tomb, and immersing ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere of Old Delhi's Chandni Chowk market. In Agra, we witnessed the breathtaking beauty of the Taj Mahal at sunrise, an architectural masterpiece that stands as a testament to love and loss. We explored the imposing Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that offers stunning views of the city, and visited the exquisite Itimad-ud-Daulah, also known as the "Baby Taj," for a glimpse of Mughal elegance. In Jaipur, we ascended to the Amber Fort, a magnificent hilltop palace with panoramic views of the city. We explored the City Palace, a blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture, showcasing a rich cultural heritage. We also wandered through the colorful bazaars of Jaipur, bargaining for unique handicrafts and souvenirs. The journey back to Delhi included an optional stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a ghost city that offers a glimpse into India's past. Our 4-day private luxury Golden Triangle tour was nothing short of exceptional. The itinerary was well-planned, allowing us to experience the highlights of each city without feeling rushed. Our driver was knowledgeable and courteous, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey. The accommodations were luxurious and comfortable, providing a relaxing haven after a day of exploring. The personalized attention and impeccable service we received throughout the tour made it truly unforgettable. Our tour guide was passionate about sharing his knowledge of Indian history and culture, enriching our experience with fascinating insights and stories. If you're seeking a luxurious and personalized way to experience the Golden Triangle, I highly recommend this tour. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty and culture of India. Tips: * Book your tour in advance, as Golden Triangle tours are popular and can fill up quickly. * Consider customizing your itinerary to cater to your specific interests and preferences. * Be prepared for some early morning starts to catch the best light at the Taj Mahal and other monuments. * Wear comfortable clothing and shoes, as you'll be doing a lot of walking and exploring. * Embrace the cultural experience and respect local customs. Excellent first trip in Agra!
Wow! What an excellent way to start my tip to India. KK was my driver and made it easy to be picked up from the airport. From there we stopped for masala chai halfway to Agra—delicious! Once in Agra, Raj was my tour guide who expertly led me through the Taj Mahal and Fort. He has a PhD in history, so be sure to ask lots of questions (if you have them!) We had a delicious and filling lunch at Bon Barbeque, then saw many amazing artists at work—marble inlay, rug weaving, embroidery, and astrology with gemstones (a special interest). It was special to see the work of generations of artisans in Agra. Overall, I had a great and informative trip to Agra. This was my first stop in India, and I felt safe throughout the day with KK and Raj. Plenty of water bottles were supplied throughout the day also. As an American, the buying/retail experience is very different in India, so this was an adjustment for myself to make. Do not feel pressured to buy anything, and do not be afraid to ask for less expensive options and/or negotiate price. I would recommend this trip! Special thank you to KK and Raj!!!
