About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- I9920ZFstevet0 contributionsDelhi and Taj Mahal AgraWhere do I start, the whole thing was fantastic, the guides are brilliant, our driver was incredible, be it in the mass of cars and scooters in Delhi to the open road to Agra, we felt so relaxed and assured. Kuldeep keeps cool bottled water and a few snacks ,first class. The guides are so knowledgeable about all aspects of all the sites visited, history, architecture and modern day restoration and usages. Everybody was so prompt with pick up times . All tickets are sorted for you which ensured quick entry to all the sites. We stopped at a " motorway services "and Kuldeep suggested we try the masala chia as it was famously good , in a clay cup , he wasn't wrong, best masala chia ever.Written 12 January 2025
- Paige A0 contributionsAgra - Ranthambore - JaipurI'll start off with saying if you are considering visiting India and would like the convenience of experts showing you around the local attractions, I would 100% recommend booking a trip with Pacific Classic Tours India. My mother and I are visiting India for 12 days, we booked this trip initially for the convenience of the transport between Agra, Ranthambore and Jaipur which was our plan anyway, but it really made our holiday. On our first day were picked up by our lovely taxi driver Vipin who was with us for the entire tour, and RT who was our tour guide for Agra. We started off with a morning trip to the Taj Mahal, RT knew what to do and where to go, so the whole trip was seamless. He was very knowledgable about the history of the Taj and the Mogul family, it was really interesting to learn more about how the Taj came to be. He was more than happy to take many lovely photos of us on our phones, and had a photographer contact who took photos and didn’t try to swindle us. After the Taj, we went to a place where they craft the marble/jewels used in the making of the Taj Mahal, they showed us the process by the descendants of those that did the original work on the Taj, they had a shop where you could buy goods if you wish. We then visited the Agra fort, which was another beautiful sight. RT showed us around and stopped to explain the history, taking photos of us and not rushing us along at all. That concluded our time in Delhi, in the afternoon we travelled with Vipin to Ranthambore National park. Vipin very kindly pointed out landmarks and told us about Indian culture on the way, which made the long drive much more interesting. He stopped for food at a decent restaurant and gave us plenty of time to eat and freshen up. He even arranged for someone to meet us and exchange our currency into smaller notes. We started our day in Ranthambore with an early morning safari (take a coat, it's cold!), we travelled on a canter and the safari was around 3 hours long. We were lucky enough to see a tiger lazing in the sun, along with other wildlife like deer, boar, monkeys, owls and a jackal. It was an amazing safari and we could tell the guides worked hard to find a wild tiger for us, but I did have a negative experience with one of the safari guides. I want to be clear that the safari guides work for the Forest department and not for Pacific Classic Tours India. When showing me where a tiger was laying, the man kept putting his hands on my back and waist to "manoeuvre" me into position. I did request he stop, but he either didn't understand or did not listen. It was inappropriate and made me very uncomfortable, so please be wary of this as a female if you undertake a safari tour. Pacific Classic Tours India have taken my complaint seriously and forwarded onto the Forest Department. After Ranthambore, we travelled with Vipin to Jaipur, which is a beautiful pink city. We met up with our tour guide Rajesh who took us to see many beautiful sights, the Amber fort, the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, a view of the water palace and Gaitor Ki Chhatriyan. We had a fantastic day, Rajesh was a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide who took his time telling us the history of these beautiful places, taking photos of us and being very attentive to our needs. He even reccomended medicine for my mother's cough and stopped at a pharmacy so we could pick some up. We stopped for lunch at a delicious restaurant where we tried thali, and at jewellery and tailoring outlets where they showed us around their factories and demonstrated their processes. We were then given the opportunity to buy their merchandise if we wanted to, but we were not obliged to. Vipin offered to run us to the airport on our last day, he even stopped at one last gate to take some photos and make the most of our memorable trip, he really was very kind and thoughtful. The safari guide was one negative to an otherwise overwhelmingly positive experience, all of the staff went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful time in India, they were so knowledgeable and you can tell they really enjoy their work. I can't thank them enough and would use their services again should I return to India. A would like to add a separate note about the Elephant ride trade in India and across Asia, particularly in Jaipur. Please take a look at Wildlife SOS website or even better organise a visit to their centre whilst in Agra (it's about an hour outside), and educate yourself on the barbaric process undertaken to "tame elephants, and the cruelty they’re subjected to in order to perform for our entertainment. Please think twice before taking an elephant ride or any other activity where you engage with the elephant, it's not natural and it only does the creature harm and maintains the industry, thank you. +Written 22 November 2024
- Navigator134916439280 contributionsGreat Experience!Well worth it!! Firstly, car for transportation was very clean and our driver, DK Sharma, was AMAZING. Endless snacks and water was provided and DK knew our schedule better than we did. Taj Mahal was beautiful, of course, despite some haze. Mahesh Kumar was very knowledgeable! Secondly, the tiger safari was amazing. I’m glad they provided 2 opportunities to see the tigers; once in the morning and later in the afternoon. We ended up being fortunate enough to see a tiger and spend some time observing it. One thing I will note is that they make you check out of the hotel before the afternoon safari, with a couple hours to spare and you have nowhere to go or nothing to do. I took a nap on a table. Thirdly, the tour of Jaipur was a blast all because of our tour guide, Ashok Sharma. He was extremely knowledgeable and told us a lot about the history of Jaipur. He was also a lot of fun and had a great sense of humor. He taught us some local culture and arranged for us to feed monkeys!Written 21 November 2024
- Excursion558149103470 contributionsAgra, Ranthambhore and Jaipur and so so much more!Everything on this tour was absolutely amazing! From the driver to the tour guides! The tour guides are very knowledgeable! I learned so much! We were even able to see a tiger! Special thanks to Mahesh and Ashok our tour guides and DK the best driver of all time!Written 21 November 2024
- sarahmT3766FB0 contributionsIndependent tour of IndiaWhen arriving to India, I really wanted to see the Taj Mahal, one of the eight Wonders of the World. Not knowing how to get there and where to go, I booked this trip in order to fulfill my dream. It’s the prefect tour to take as a solo traveler. My tour guide, Mahesh, helped me a lot by showing me the sights of Taj Mahal, explaining the intriguing history of it, and the fascinating architecture that makes it one of the eight Wonders of the World. My driver, Vipin Sharma, took me where I needed to go and was very patient with me. I couldn’t ask for a better experience.Written 17 November 2024
- E8904WTstephanieh0 contributionsGreat way to experience the rich culture and history of AgraI had the best time on the Sunrise Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Akbar's Tomb, and Moonlit Garden Private Tour. This was the second tour that i've booked with PCTI and can happily recommend them to any travellers wanting to experience the history and culture of India. My guide, Rajni Kant, was incredibly knowledgeable and made history come alive with fascinating stories (he's also good with the Dad Jokes and knows all the best angles to photograph the monuments). Seeing the Taj Mahal from each location around Agra was breathtaking and truly unforgettable. The entire tour was well-organized, and the attention to detail was impressive. My driver, Kuldeep, has been travelling with me for a few days on various tour and transport bookings and I am deeply grateful for his kindness and broad knowledge of India's states and culture. He's also good for a laugh on the long drives between sites! As a solo female traveller, I've felt safe and well taken care of at all times on both PCTI tours. I highly recommend this tour and this company to anyone looking for a memorable and enriching experience in Agra!Written 25 August 2024
- J7034TUjosed0 contributionsGreat supportYesterday my wife and I had the opportunity to visit one of the most wonderful places on earth, the Taj Mahal, and three other sites in India. This experience was made infinitely better thanks to the great service we received from Classic Pacific Tours India whom we hired to drive us to the sites and and supplied us with a guide. Our driver Sharma was always punctual, safely navigated through the difficult traffic and made sure we stayed hydrated. The guide Mahesh was EXCELLENT. He was very knowledgeable, patient and took the time to make sure we understood every detail about each and every site. In addition he is also a good photographer who made sure we caught the best angles possible. We had an awesome experience with Mahesh and SharmaWritten 20 July 2024

- davidrW1690TW0 contributionsTaj Mahal from ship portWe are on a World Cruise and had made arrangements with Pacific Classic Tours to leave our ship for a private tour of the Taj Mahal. Our itinerary was changed at the last minute, but PCT was able to make our visit with the new ports. We left from Colombo and returned to Cochin on the 3rd day. Our driver, DK Sharma, picked us up at the airport and spent the entire trip getting us to all locations effortlessly, with great kindness and assistance. Made the trip, even though timing was short, seem very enjoyable. Our Guide, Mahesh, was very knowledgeable and made the building come to life for us. He was able to answer all questions, get us to all the special spots for view, and organized the day for maximum enjoyment. Totally a 5 star trip!Written 26 March 2024
- mxgpassarelli0 contributionsOne of the most memorable and best tours we have experienced !!This is a comprehensive review and description of our trip, but if you don’t want to read all the way through then our trip was simply amazing from the start to finish with the best service and care taken to ensure our visit had a fantastic wow factor to complement a great holiday to India. With this we full endorse the services Pacific Classic Tours (PCT). I booked a trip to Goa in February 2024. During our stay we wanted to see the Taj Mahal and found Pacific Classic Tours (PCT) offered a trip that suited our desired itinerary. Before leaving the UK we emailed PCT with questions regarding the trip and emails were always replied to in a prompt and full manner by Shakul Garg the director of the company. The itinerary was discussed and we were given a comprehensive document outlining our trip. We were collected from our hotel in Goa and driven to the airport for our early flight to Delhi. Rohan and the taxi driver were both smart and courteous throughout and on arrival gave us details as to the airport check in process. On arrival in Delhi we were met by Sonu Mathur, our driver for the next 3 days. Again Sonu was smart and courteous and provided us with bottles water and complimentary snacks during our 3 hour drive to Agra. On arrival to Agra we were offered the opportunity to a quick stop at a masala chai stand for an authentic street food experience which the tea was delicious! Whilst taking in the full hustle and bustle that India offers. We arrived at our hotel for the night, Hotel Grand Mercure, and were met by a company colleague who talked us through our itinerary and checked we were happy with everything. The hotel was lovely and we decided to have our evening meal at the café within the hotel. The room was very nice and we were lucky enough to have a view of the Taj Mahal from our window, although it was quite a distance away. We opted to see the Taj Mahal at sunrise and so were picked up at 6.15am, when we were joined by our guide for the day, Vijay Chauhan. Vijay was exceptional, his knowledge was vast and his experience of getting the best photos was very much appreciated. It looks like we were the only ones there!! (We really weren’t!!) The Taj Mahal is beautiful and lived up to all our expectations and more. On return from the Taj Mahal we went back to the hotel for breakfast and checked out. The day continued visiting other places of interest including Fort Agra and watching some local crafts. We returned to the Taj Mahal later on in the day from the other side of the river for another photo opportunity. Here we said goodbye to Vijay and were driven back to Delhi to stay at the Hotel Vivanta Surajkund for the night. Again this hotel was lovely and we chose to eat our evening meal here. After breakfast Sonu picked us up with a new guide, Prashant Singh, Who showed us the sights and sounds of Delhi. Our first stop was Humayuns Tomb followed by Qutub Minar and the Lotus Temple. Lunch was at Connaught Clubhouse, Delhi’s first German style microbrewery! Lunch was a glass of their finest classic Indian pale ale and a great selection of traditional Indian light bites which we felt was very reasonably priced. During the rest of the day other points of interest were pointed out and a trip (on our request) to a small spice shop completed the day and we returned to the airport for our flight back to Goa. Sonu our driver was on hand to guide us through the check in process at the airport Once landed we were again met by Rohan who checked all was ok and we had been happy with everything and with this we were driven back to our hotel with a guided commentary of the area. Goa is a beautiful place and we had an amazing holiday but the trip that we took with PCT made it so much more memorable. They couldn’t have done any more for us and I would recommend this trip to anyone who is thinking about venturing out of Goa. A special mention for our 2 fantastic tour guides ( Vijay and Prashant) who both were clearly interested in what we wanted to get from our trip and created some fabulous photo opportunities for us that take away and share with family and friends. We must not forget our Driver Sonu who for 3 days navigated his way through very busy traffic whilst ensuring that our itinerary was completed, his progressive and careful driving skills will be remembered for a long time. Finally ! Thank you to Pacific Classic Tours and Shakul , It was simply the best !!Written 16 March 2024

- Freedom6425690 contributionsBest add for cruise or day toursThis trjp was awrsome.Drivers Hari and Mr Gudu will keep you safe and go above and beyond to make you stay comfortable in all three cities. Selecting a great driver in India is a top priority. Sub and Raj did a great job of presenting the history of the country without being intrusive to what we wanted to accomplish. The five star hotels Jaypee and the Grand are 4 star US properties, veey comfortable but the food is great. Try the Indian food way better than the american fare. The restraunt service at the grand was poor but they comped our meal. The cities of Agra and Delhi are awesome with lots of history. Get out and feel the heartbeat of Mumbi. Many things to see and do no where else in the world. Be preparred for a long lines at the airport and keep your carry ons to a minimum. I would highly recommend this tour and this company very reliable and reason ble. Check out their other tours as well. We did the elephant caves and city tour. It was great with Suba and mr Gruba.Written 24 February 2024

- lauramK4028ON0 contributionsGolden Triangle TourThis was our first time traveling to India and we are so happy that we chose to do so with this tour. We were able to see a lot of amazing places in a short time thanks to our wonderful driver and the local guides in each city. Our driver Bittu, was excellent!! He greeted us at the airport with flowers and always had snacks and waters for us in the car. He always stayed with the car, ensuring that our belongings stayed safe. He even gave me some CDs of Punjabi music when he noted that we were dancing along to it in the back. We are very grateful to him for ensuring we had a wonderful time. Of the three cities we were able to see, Jaipur was our favorite! It was a stunning city, some of which you can see in the photos I’ve added along with this post. Our guide there, Ashok Sharma, went above and beyond for us; showing us incredible locations and telling the history of each place in a fun and interesting way. He even did some palm reading for us. Our guides in Agra and Delhi were also wonderful! Overall we had a great time and would recommend this tour to all.Written 15 December 2023

I would highly recommend asking for Mahesh to guide you. He has so many fascinating things to say and he took some amazing photos for us. Another great point is that Mahesh was so flexible with timings and when we needed to shorten the afternoon, he had good ideas of where else to visit. A really memorable day. Bobby was driver for the day

A visit to the Taj Mahal is not only to witness probably the most magnificent structure in the world - a flawless gem but a spiritual experience as the story which unfolds is a story of a great love. Shah Jahan a Moghul emperor built this monument in honour of his wife Mumtaz Mahal as a eulogy to sublime love. Mumtaz died giving birth to their 14th child. The monument symbolises a great love. It was really useful to have a brilliant guide who related the story in great detail. It was hard to draw ourselves away from this magnificent place not only because we were witnessing an historic monument but felt a peaceful calmness as we lingered in the beautiful gardens. If you had a choice to see only one place in the world this would have to be it. My friend and I walked away singing "All you need is love" feeling a calmness which was serene. Everyone should experience this if they have the opportunity.

This was an amazing tour covering all aspects of Agra. The Taj Mahal was one of the top experiences of my life and was completely worth this tour package in itself. Vijay Chauhan was very knowledgeable about all of the sites and was an excellent guide! He had all the best spots scoped out and new exactly where to take our pictures for the best shots. Our driver Gurmeet was also great at navigating all the roadways and directions!
PSA TO ALL TRAVELERS: This tour includes several (unlisted) stops to local craftsmen shops. Although educational to see the different types of artistry, we very much would’ve liked to know this up front. All three stops were extremely pushy in trying to sell their products which put undo stress on us to negotiate prices or leave the shops without purchasing anything. I just want everyone booking to be prepared to experience that as we were not. The first two stops (Persian carpets & marble work) were interesting but the final stop (embroidery) was a bit over the top as we were all absolutely exhausted after 11.5 hours of touring (although still interesting in its own right just not at that point in the tour).
With that said, I would still recommend this tour to everyone! It was a great way to see all the main sites of Agra without having to stress about entrance fees/requirements, transpiration, or where to get food/water.

Mahesh Kumar was the best tour guide we’ve had in India! His English was perfect, and he was immensely knowledgeable about India’s history as well as all the monuments we saw. He went above and beyond to point out all the different architectural symbols and their significance. In every area of every site, he had a new fact or story to give us all the context we needed to really appreciate what was in front of us. There was no question he couldn’t answer, whether it was about the monuments, history, or just India in general and tips for our next stops. At the conclusion of the planned tour, I asked if we should see Baby Taj on our own, just wondering if it was worth seeing while in Agra. Mahesh immediately offered to take us even though it was not part of the tour package- we just had to pay for our entrance fee and a small parking fee. He did not have to do it, but we are so thankful he did. Truly great service. He is also a great photographer! He directed us in different poses, knew the best angles and lighting around the monuments, and did a variety of photo types (portrait mode, etc).
And along with Mahesh was our driver Sonu, who did a fantastic job. He navigated the chaotic streets so well and always met us at an easy spot on the road to hop in after a site. Mahesh and Sonu even brought out tea for us to drink in the car on a very early and chilly morning!
100% recommend this tour!

Had a wonderful tour today! Mahesh was an amazing tour guide and photographer! My friends and I were the first ones at the Taj Mahal. Pretty much had the whole place to ourselves for 15 mins before the crowds came. Mahesha took dozens of “Instagram” worthy pics that did not disappoint. Afterwards we went to two other sites that were beautiful. Mahesh was very knowledgeable about the history of the sites and India.

Our Agra tour was a blast thanks to Mahesh and Prem. These guys personalized our trip and turned it into a two-day adventure, complete with a Taj Mahal sunset view. They knew us so well that they took us only to the jewelry store (clever move, guys!). Mahesh was like a walking history book, sharing tales about the country and its sites. Plus, he had a knack for spilling extra info whenever we asked. And guess what? Mahesh doubled as a photographer and nailed it. Who knew a tour could be so informative and Insta-worthy?

My brother and I were part of this private tour with Mahesh and DK. Mahesh had very detailed knowledge of all the landmarks we visited and was happy to answer any questions we had. He was also very patient with us if we wanted to have some time to explore on our own. Our driver DK was also very polite and respectful and happy to wait while we explored. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Agra for the first time as you will come away having learned a lot about the history and culture of the city.

My partner and I recently took the day tour to Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatepurhri Sikhri. We enjoyed a beautiful sunrise and morning at the Taj Mahal - our guide Mahesh was not only extremely knowledgeable and explained the historical significance of the place very well, he was also an excellent photographer!
We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and a tour of the Agra fort before having some small shopping opportunities. The local handicrafts were beautiful and watching the many talented people working on them made us appreciate how much work and skill it takes to put these items together. The tour to Fatepuri Skihri was fascinating too.
Overall our guide Mahesh and driver Ankit impressed us with their professionalism and service. The team was very happy to support and educate us on the sites and made the overall tour experience very enjoyable.
We would definitely recommend Mahesh and Ankit as guide and driver when visiting the famous sites of Agra!

Our tour was wonderful, and our guide Mahesh was a fountain of knowledge. Mahesh had every fact about every place we visited, but also spent considerable time answering all our questions about India, her history and her customs. Mahesh was happy to tailor the tour to suit our needs, and we could not have been more happy. Our driver was super professional - always smiling, opening doors and had water at the ready always. Highly recommend!

Mahesh was our guide for the Taj Mahal sunrise day tour and he had an extraordinary amount of knowledge of each place. We learned so much about the history of the Taj Mahal as well as the Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri while exploring the exquisite details of the red sandstone and the marble structures. We were able to capture some beautiful photos with Mahesh showing us some of the best shots, and he gave us the time we needed to be able to adjust the tour to our schedule. Our driver Bittu is also highly recommended and did a tremendous job carting us all over Agra. I highly recommend both Mahesh and Bittu for this tour. It was an unforgettable experience! Thank you

How long is this tour? Approximately what time will we be dropped back off at our hotel at the end of the day?

We were out all day until 6 p.m. - 12 hours - including breakfast stop back to hotel and lunch... but probably you could get them to bring you back by 4 p.m. or so no problem
