About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Bhoomirivaan0 contributionsBest Christmas HolidaysI would like to thank you India Trotter for organising a memorable holiday for our family. From planning to bookings everything went smooth. Driver and guide were outstanding. It was value for money trip. Would surely suggest to friends and family.Written 10 January 2025
- 585edwarda0 contributionsTime travel with AileenasIt was a great experience to visit this historical place. Having local guild speak in English was well worth to understand the area these caves were builtWritten 10 December 2024
- Jet537227609190 contributionsWas TraumatizedI have contacted them many times and they will not give any amount of refund. I paid them greater than US$1000 for two people for a 2.5 day trip to Pushkar, India based on an itinerary which was canceled by them two days before the trip. They told us there would be a hot air balloon ride even they knew this hadn't been offered for years. They told us there would be a kite flying contest. I paid this money assuming I would get a "guide" for a "tour" but the first day they dumped the group in a desert without food, water, or guidance for 3 hours. No food was included and they assumed we only wanted to eat at the hotel (*greater than four times at the same hotel restaurant*). The list goes on. Any fun I had on this trip was despite their attempts to obstruct it. I was completely defrauded by this company due to them asking for money based on a plan which did not happen. The tour guide was essentially an auxiliary bus driver and seemed to have a disdain for tourists which was not subtle. I mourn the loss of my $1000 to this fraud of a company.Written 8 December 2024
- Gobrendaru0 contributionsGood times in golden triangleIndia trotter was very communicative and flexible. We appreciated the mix for teens and adults. The AC bus was a nice respite between outdoor walks. The driver and guides were amazing.Written 9 October 2023

- RvMDl0 contributionsOk option, things worked out, but underwhelming overallWe contracted with India Trotter for a large, 26 days customized tour across India. It was completely customized and we did it while foreign tourists are still not allowed into India. We enjoyed some things they delivered, like super fast response to emails or the whatssap group created. We felt things, though, for the price we paid, could have been much better. We had a mixed bag of tour guides. Some of them were really good and some of them were not so good. Same for drivers, some drove carefully, phones muted, etc. and some of them did not. We had also a mixed experience with the hotels. All hotels were good, 5 stars, so that was never the issue. The issue was more the lack of reaction to the feedback provided when we said a certain chain was too vanilla, too bland and we would rather stay in hotels with more character and history. Despite that feedback coming quite early in the trip, no changes were done. Also, we did not appreciate not getting 100% clarity on the total cost we paid for the trip. When we asked, during the trip, for a high level breakdown of the price (flights, hotels, tour guides and drivers and their fee), we were advised this was not possible. In closing, we found India Trotter to be a professional company. They did a good job in organizing our tour. They have some good things like the whatssap group and overall, the tour went well. However, we felt that they can improve quite a bit in different areas and, when they do that, they will be amazing at their business.Written 22 October 2021
- Ansuman G0 contributionsGood Monastery with Panoramic view all around. We had pleasant experience and passed good time as long as we were there. The Tibet museum in the same complex is an added attraction and visitor should not miss. If someone wish to meet revered Dalai Lama, can take the opportunity with prior appointed time if he is available there at that time.Written 11 February 2020
