Jodhpur walking tour

Ravi was a great tour guide! We had a great walking tour of Mehrangarh Fort, through the Blue City, to the beautiful clock tower, Step Well and the markets. The local information, history, and even birding help were all greatly appreciated. At the end of the tour he gave us a couple great restaurant options and arranged a ride back to our hotel for us. Absolutely worth the time! 10 out of 10.

Highlight of Jodhpur

During our two-day stay in Jodhpur, the tour of the blue city from Ravindra Ji was one of our favorite activities. He was helpful days before we even arrived in Jodhpur, giving us advice and information on our hotel and things to see in the city. On our tour he shared a wealth of knowledge and information about the history and daily life of Jodhpur and the Marwar region. He led us through more residential areas in the city so that we could experience part of daily life rather than just the tourist areas. Even after our tour was over he answered our questions the following day about our sightseeing schedule. Your time with Ravindra Ji will surely be one of the best parts of your Jodhpur experience. Really lovely experience!

No tour but a full refund!

Unfortunately I can't speak to the quality of the tour - due to technical issues with the booking we were not able to take the tour and had to cancel. Thankfully the tour operator helped me receive a full refund from TripAdvisor. Hopefully I'll come back some day and experience the tour properly!

Walking tour

We had a great time walking the streets of the old city listening to interesting nuggets from our Guide RavindraJi. A great way to start the morning. Don’t miss the delicious breakfast stops enroute.

Awesome tour of jodhpur

We had an awesome walk tour with Ravin in the morning. He picked us up at Krishna Prakash Haveli . First stop was an tasty traditional breakfast. Afterwards we toured the whole blue city, had some chai and sugar cane juice. Ravin was really friendly and told us many interesting storys and facts about the different places.
We had nice experience in fort and Jaswant thada. Thanks for hospitality

If you truly want to sample local walk secure in the knowledge that you will only be taken to the best and safest places, then this is the tour for you. Mathur was our guide for this and was a wonderful and knowledgeable companion.

Jodhpur is very beautiful town and famous for its culture, tradition and rich heritage.
Heritage walks are perfect way to explore the old part of the city.
Meet and greet the locals who are residents old city from generation.
Temples, old haveli, heritage lakes, old style market it has all and in the end go inside the old blue house and have a cup of masala tea with chat with the host and chat.
As a student this walk was great experience as our guide told us lots of stories and interesting thing about history and culture.

Wonderful trip

I spent a really nice morning in Jodhpur with Ravindra. The itinerary he made for me was just what I wanted including lunch at a 'dhaba' (a roadside restaurant where lorry drivers and locals eat), just outside the city. His English is first class and he explained everything very well. Nothing was too much trouble and he also arranged a tuktuk to take me to my cookery class later that day. In between I really enjoyed chatting to him about life in India. All in all highly recommended.
