Bantu is the most incredible and charming host you could imagine. We spent hours exploring the city with him and we went to parts of the old town that we would never have seen otherwise. He focuses on incredible stories of his city and culture and less on dates and facts from history, which made the tour so interesting. He taught me so much about Hinduism and felt really comfortable asking so many questions!
I actually booked this tour as I thought that he had the best photos to advertise his tour and it turns out that Bantu is a fantastic photographer. He helped us to take some really great pictures and showed us such beautiful architecture.
He also took us for the best samosa I’ve ever had (going back for more tomorrow!) and took us for our first ever lassi. I feel I could go home tomorrow and I’ve had the best possible experience already!!!
He also has an incredible calm presence and tuk tuks just part around him so it was really great walking behind him in Jodhpur!
If you have the chance, I would hurry up and book a tour. He is super popular! And deservedly so!

This was an amazing tour of the city, which would have been very difficult to navigate on our own.
Our tour guide Deepak was knowledgeable having been a tour guide for Jodhpur for the last 23 years and was an official licensed guide. He spoke 5 languages and his English was easy to understand.
Really enjoyed the tour but you will have to watch carefully where you tread.
Only 10% of the pre covid number of tourists have now returned to visiting the city, so now is definitely the time to be visiting.

A morning well spent learning all about the heritage and culture behind this wonderful city. Bantu was such a kind and knowledgeable guide. I would never have been able to find all of the beautiful corners that he showed us by myself. He was very patient in answering all our questions and waiting while we took MANY pictures. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and would highly recommend everyone to do this if you truly want to experience the old city in Jodhpur. 10/10

The coordination for the visit was smooth thru WA. We were met on time by Bantu ji, who started to explain the history of this wonder place. We walked thru the Blue city and got to know why " Blue". A nice easy walk thru narrow streets and soak in some history. Finished with excellent tea and local snacks. Was a wonderful experience and a definite recommendation. Do the morning tours only before the sun starts to burn ( pls no traffic, no honks)

Bantu was not only incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his city, but also remarkably kind and great to talk to about Rajasthan, India, spirituality and life, as well as more important things, like cricket. I felt like I had known him for years. His tour really is an authentic slice of beautiful Jodhpur. You will not find a better walking tour in Jodhpur, I am sure of it. I hope to cross paths with you again some day.
Also worth noting, is that Bantu did not take me to any shops, something I was extremely grateful for. Too many tour guides in India take travellers to shops, hoping to score a commission. He will, however, take you out for chai masala tea, and the delicious Jodhpur speciality of Makhaniya Lassi.

Beautiful walking tour of the old city with great company Bhantu! So educational- he explains why Jodhpur is the blue city along with the colours of the other cities in Rajasthan. The old city is like a maze and we wouldn’t have been able to explore the important sites if it wasn’t for our guide Bhantu! If you book a walking tour in Jodhpur, make sure you book this one because Bhantu is a local here. Thank you so much .

Bathu communicates well and takes personal pride in presenting his city. Due to a double-booking mistake on our side, however, we ended up not doing the tour with Banthu. Despite us being late in informing him and having no expectation, he went out of his way and insisted to reimburse us. His character speaks volumes. Thank you Banthu, we hope to explore Jodphur with you some day!

I had spoken to Bantu Bhaiyya a couple of months before my trip since i had seen such rave reviews of his tour and wanted to make sure that when i was in jodhpur i would definitely join the tour. The tour lasts for a couple of hours and its simply brilliant. He is a gem of a person and explains the history of Jodhpur and Brampuri and the reasons for the blue walls in jodhpur. The tour is so engaging and fun that you dont seem to know once the two hours are done. Thanks Bantu Bhaiyya for a wonderful time. Anyone wanting to see a different side of jodhpur please do go for this tour. I wish i could give 10 stars. Bantu is extremely professional and was on time for the tour. It starts at Ghanta Ghar and ends there as well. To see jodhpur with all the blue walls and the history that is seeped into it makes it simply breathtaking. The history lesson and the pyaaz ki kachori that go along with it is the icing on the cake.

An excellent introduction to the marvellous blue city. Bantu, a knowledgeable and engaging Jodhpur local who’s passion for his city and it’s architecture makes this a great way to find your feet in what can be an overwhelming experience on your own. Bantu will take you through beautiful and peaceful street and share stories and knowledge of Jodhpur with you. He has excellent communication skills, his English was very easy to understand - his love for his city (if you don’t already love it) is highly contagious. Join him for a walk to see Jodphur from a locals perspective.

We did the morning walk with Buntu and really enjoyed it. We had a very limited time in Jodhpur and this tour is a great way to get a little introduction into the significance of many things you may pass by without understanding or noticing.
We began our tour at 8:30 and Buntu kindly met us at our Guesthouse which was a nice touch. Navigating the small streets early in the morning can be difficult so that was great.
Buntu was very passionate about the city and shared so much of his knowledge with us through the tour allowing us to stop and take lots of photos along the way.
We also stopped off for a local chai that I guarantee you will not be able to find without him. We finished our tour with samosas to die for. Really good local food, so good we went bavk for seconds.
We leave Jodhpur feeling we have got to know the city after our tour with Buntu. Highly recommended doing this on your first day in Jodhpur if possible.
