I had a fantastic experience with Real Desert Man Camel Safari in Jaisalmer. The trip started with a jeep ride into the desert, where we met our camels and Abe, our guide, who has lived in a desert village his whole life. Abe’s knowledge of the wildlife, camels, and the history of the area was impressive and added so much to the experience. We rode the camels deeper into the desert, set up camp, and enjoyed a delicious traditional Rajasthani dinner with snacks and masala chai. Watching the sunset over the dunes, stargazing with beers, and sleeping under the stars made for an unforgettable evening. Waking up to the peaceful sunrise was a perfect way to end the trip. The whole experience felt authentic, and Abe and the rest of the team were friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we were well looked after. We took quite a few clothes with us thinking it was going to be super cold overnight, but with the heavy and warm blankets, we were very cosy, so you can pack quite light. Although it might be different further into winter! I’d highly recommend Real Desert Man Camel Safari for anyone looking to explore the Thar Desert.

Would highly recommend the real desert man for any desert safaris. They were amazing to deal with and even took me to the hospital and sorted me out when I was poorly. Real desert man safari tour Me and my wife booked the real desert man tour for camel safari and sleeping under the stars and it was a really fantastic getaway for one night away from the city and into the peaceful dessert. We went to see the abandoned village then headed towards the dessert. Once we arrived and met Abhay we mounted on our camel and off we went into the dessert. Abhay was very accommodating and was always asking if we were ok and happy and he was a delight to spend time with having conversations. We had a delicious home cooked meal in the dessert camp made from lots of different vegetables and rice and chipati bread All the staff were fantastic and we both really enjoyed the tour. On route back to the jeep in the morning we also had a second camel ride which was a bonus. We got to see local life farmers with lots of their animals grazing and seeing the other side of life in Rajasthan. The sky was absolutely beautiful in the evening seeing all the Stars. Sunset and sunrise was stunning. The camels are beautifully cared for by Abhay as you can clearly see his passion for them. If your in jaisalmer and looking for a tour Book with the real desert man

Fantastic time in the desert!! We really enjoyed the dinner, camels, and sunset. They picked us up, dropped us off, and we were able to do it all in a day. I’m sure staying overnight would be great too but if you are short on time this trip is great.

Real Desert Man Safaris took us on a beautiful experience! Jeetu was our Jeep driver and co-chef to our camel driver Abajy. The food was delicious, and prepared all fresh under the moonlight. We had a lengthy camel ride, visited an old Brahmin town and an oasis, saw a beautiful, clear sunset, provided our delicious meal, and were delivered back to Jaisalmer all in an afternoon! Highly recommend 🌻

The whole experience was outstanding, perfect tents, caring stuff and driver, sunset camel ride and the super amazing cultural show! But for me the top of the top was at night when i watched tons of stars at the clear sky. Must have adventure. Worth every penny

I had booked desert tour from here. The camel safari was excellent, We went to middle of desert and cooked the food and slept under star which was very good experience. Real desert man service was excellent, beside they also provide me guest house free of cost. There staff and tour guide Nepal and his uncle was humble and friendly. Price is also reasonable. I would like to do it

Our Real Desert Man was Jeetu for our night in the dessert trip. Very knowledgable about local history and spoke great English. Stopped at various sights on the way to the Desert Camp Nomads Heaven. camel ride into the dunes to watch the sunset was amazing before returning to camp for traditional Rajasthani entertainment - great food and a welcoming atmosphere:

We had amazing experience at camping. It was beautiful and the service is speechless.staff is very prompt and cooperative at next level. The tents are very well maintained and clean. Food was awesome we enjoyed the night show. This was a once in a lifetime experience. It was a moonless night which ensured mother nature put up a spectacular show. A big thanks to Real Dessert man and all the team involved to make it possible. The camel ride was terrific, the food was wholesome and the people were caring. This will certainly leave an imprint on me for some time to come.

I wasn't sure about taking a detour to jaisalmer but I spoke with a local when I was in Jodhpur about the desert and she said 'just spend the night and feel what the desert has to offer'. I'm so glad that I did, I chose this particular safari because of the reviews and the team did not dissapoint. From managers to desert guides I was offered superb rajasthan hospitality and welcome. They really went the extra mile offering to pick me up from my transport and have a place to take rest before and after the tour. As for the tour itself - IT'S A MUST SEE. The sky never looked so big, the edge of the milkyway, orions belt the seven sisters... the guides are very knowledgeable and kind to the camels too. The food and chai were also great. Treat yourself and go on this tour.

We've had a great two nights desert experience with this company. Very good and smooth organisation and we could clearly see they have years of experience. They can also provide a room in their guesthouse which is very clean and reasonably priced.

"We are happy in the destert!" was a saying that our driver Kamal often said. It certainly applied to us. At all times, our well-being and our wishes were of central importance and nothing seemed impossible. Kamal was a great driver who accompanied us the whole time and showed and told us many interesting things about the desert and its inhabitants. After a relaxed and interesting drive to the camp we were welcomed by Swaroop and his team. We had time to move into the spacious and well-equipped tent and freshen up. Next was the camel tour. We travelled a short distance by jeep to the meeting point and were welcomed by our guide and the camel. We took a leisurely and relaxed tour through the desert and watched the sunset. Back at the camp, we were greeted with music. A foretaste of the evening show. After the beautiful and somewhat long show, we had a delicious dinner. We booked an evening jeep tour through the desert at the camp. Important: The additional offers can only be paid for in cash! Once again we were driven by Kamal and he showed us wild animals such as antelopes and took us to a great spot in the desert from where we could see the beautiful starry sky. As an amateur photographer from Europe, it was an amazing experience to photograph the starry sky and the Milky Way. The next morning we had breakfast, which was a mixture of a continental and Indian breakfast. Afterwards we went back to Jaisalmer with a photo stop to take pictures of the fortress. Swaroop and his team looked after and catered for us wonderfully. We can highly recommend this tour.
