Any trip is made by the drivers of your cabs and we interacted with two great persons from Akvin Tourism during our trips of the Caves and the Lonar crater lake. They informed us, guided us, drove us arround and took complete care of us! What a brilliant luck we had! Thanks TripAdvisor for making us meet them and take their services!

Ajanta and Ellora Caves are truly extraordinary places that must be seen to be believed. Their magic is undeniable, and my experience was made even more special thanks to Akvin Tourism. Everything was seamless—from the local guide, who grew up in the area and shared invaluable insights, to the skilled driver who made me feel safe navigating India’s bustling streets. It was my first International trip.It was just memorable.Travelling makes you a better person. With Akash and Vincent you will not feel you are away from family. Timely, safe, good service - these things are really important when travelling solo. I did the 2 day UNESCO sites tour which included Ajanta, Ellora and Bibi ka maqbarra. Drivers name was Salman. He turned up at the appointed time with a clean car. He was courteous and polite and was a very good driver. He explained about the sights we were going to see, arranged guides at Ajanta and Ellora. The guides at both places were really good. He stopped for coconut water and cough medicine when I asked him. He made sure I had enough water on me before embarking on my caves adventure in the heat. I found Akvin through Tripadvisor from other peoples reviews and I’m pleased to say I made the right choice by booking them. They were a very reasonable price compared to others and included a/c car, driver, entry & guide. I would not hesitate to recommend Akvin and Salman who was really good.

I had really good experience and would like to recommend Akvin Tourism. Communication with Mr. Akash was very easy and I could get quick response. The driver in Aurangabad, Mr. Salman is really nice guy. First, he is very friendly. He's always smiling and easy to communicate, speak English very fluently. Second, he is polite and good at taking care of clients. He communicates well but let me sleep when I was tired and sleepy. Also, he kindly brought cold drink when I come back from long walk in Ajanta. Lastly he is very knowledgeable and told me a lot of things including Hindi, Marathi languages, Indian history, culture and food. Thanks to Mr. Salman, we really enjoyed Ajanta&Ellora&Aurangabad and it was fruitful trip. I'll recommend Akvin Tourism and Mr. Salman to my friends. Thank you very much.

We spent 9 days together with Akash and Vincent. We couldn’t choose better. Thanks to Akvin we could see not only historical places, UNESCO heritage, places with strong spiritual energy but as well real life in Maharashtra. We could enjoy authentic places together with local people. Thanks to Vincent’s knowledge we went deeper to the history. We had fantastic home stay in Aurangabad. We felt like a part of the family. It was so nice to meet Akash’s parents and his sister, could talk together and could enjoy fantastic meal prepared by his mother, especially poha 🙂. Akvin provided us professional arrangements with so friendly atmosphere. It was uniq travel experience.

I'm so happy I decided to book with Akvin...If I instead opted to go by myself, I wouldn't have understood a fraction of the beauty and history found in the carvings and paintings at Ellora & Ajanta. We stayed at Akash's place (he has a homestay on AirBnB) and really enjoyed it; we felt invited into the family, and saw quite a bit of Akash and Vincent, who even organised tickets for a great concert that happened to be on during our visit. It wqs great to have someone to chat with in the morning. The homestay is in the city, so transport everywhere is fairly easy, and, incredibly for India, it is really quiet!! If you want to stay there, I think best is to WhatsApp Akash on +91 78753 77569. Aside from that, with Vincent they run a travel business specialised in the state. There is so much more to see around Aurunagad than just Ellora and Ajanta....you could probably spend a week, and have a varied and fun trip. Aurungabad isnt so bad also to get to; there are flights non-stop to Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderbad; but plenty of trains too, and, if you are coming from abroad, they'll organise a train ticket for you (as that is so difficult to do from abroad). Aside from being professional, they are also very nice people and I really recommend that you work with them.

We had an excellent trip with Akvin Tours and in particular Afzal our driver to Ellora and Ajunta in Sept 2022. The road to Ajunta is still under construction so its a long journey but definitely worth it - the caves are wonderful. And at Ellora the Kailasa temple (cave 16) is up there with Angkor Wat IMO even though its not as famous. Note that one of the good things about this tour is that they sort the tickets out for you in advance, most of the other tours I looked at do not do this. We visited off peak but in peak time avoiding the queue to buy tickets would be an excellent advantage. Our driver -Afzal went above and beyond his duties in trying to find us a cash machine that would allow us to withdraw money from UK banks , we must have tried about 6 (finally Axis bank came up trumps). Both he and his boss Akash were super helpful all the time even 2 days after the tour when I was confused about entries in my bank account from shops and the cash withdrawals.
