Make your way to the Khajuraho Railway Station or Airport on the first day, where a representative from the tour operator will meet you. Transfer to your local 3-star hotel and set a meeting time with your guide for the morning.
On the second day, eat an included breakfast at your hotel before meeting your guide. Travel to the Western Group of Temples, where much of the festival takes place. Stop at Kandariya Mahadeva, a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, and Devi Jagdamba temple to offer prayers.
Move on to the Eastern Group of Temples, including the largest Jain temple dedicated to Parsvanath. Explore the temples with your guide, then stop at a local Indian restaurant for a traditional lunch (own expense).
Return to the hotel for a rest before heading out to the evening session of the Kharjuraho festival at the Chitragupta and Vishwanatha temples.
On Day 3, enjoy a morning breakfast before checking out of your hotel and catching a ride to the railway station or airport.
Please see full list of performances in the Itinerary section.
