Beautiful and surreal: some pros and cons
Pros: amazing scenery, delicious and varied food, excellent service, comfortable bed, clean, aircon, fans in the bedroom and dining area as well. The tour in the smaller boat down smaller rivers was the most interesting part, though relatively short. The sections that were less busy with other boats were also particularly enjoyable. There is an amazing view out of the bedroom window. We saw loads of beautiful birds, a mongoose and stunning lush scenes of paddy fields and water lilies. The views were particularly impressive at sunset and dawn, with pink and golden light reflecting off the river. A surreal and memorable experience. There’s nothing to do but relax, so would recommend getting as much exercise as possible the day before if you’re the active type! Cons: brown water in the taps with limited water pressure at times (we didn’t risk the shower). Slightly odd dynamic being waited on by two reserved people who didn’t speak much English while we lazed around in this lavish boat under the watchful gaze of locals on the surrounding banks, though the staff were very attentive and polite. We saw other tourists taking photos of local people, which I can imagine might feel quite intrusive. It’s a long time motoring very slowly around a lake that’s often busy with other boats, so worth having an audiobook or something to listen to while you enjoy the views. Definitely wouldn’t recommend for more than one night, as might get a bit boring. 21 hours was plenty!

A touching booking and cancellation experience
I had to cancel my overnight boat trip with Sreetours after a scooter crashed into me in Goa, wounding my leg and leaving me unable to walk without crutches. Whilst I’m not able to review the boat trip, I am very moved to leave a review about my booking experience and the very kind way I was treated by the owner, Sreekumar, when I told him that I was forced to cancel the trip. When booking, all of the questions I asked were answered promptly and professionally by Sreekumar. When I asked if he could pick us up from a jetty closer to our accommodation he was happy to oblige and didn’t charge us an additional Rps 1000 for this convenience. I paid Rps3000 deposit for the boat trip which I accepted as non-refundable but as soon as I explained the reason for the cancellation Sreekumar immediately offered me a refund, which he didn’t have to do. I’m so touched by his thoughtfulness. I will definitely be back next year to do the boat trip then. Thank you very much for your kindness Sreekumar 🙏

          Well organized, comes as advertized
Our 7-day trip in Kerala was fabulous! Everything was organized perfectly, and our driver (Sooraj) was both knowledgable and very friendly. Booking was relatively straightforward and the agency was flexible and accommodated the changes we wanted to make in the itinerary. Highly recommended!

Amazing organisation and great value for money
Mr Sreekumar organised a 6 day tour for us, including pick up from Kochi airport and drop off to Munnar, booking the hotel of our choice at a great rate in Munnar, Munnar tours and a 3 day houseboat tour of the backwaters, and return back to Kochi. Sreestours and Mr Sreekumar himself go out of their way to accommodate your needs and plans - he even tried to get a train ticket on a fully booked train for us - last minute! Overall, we really appreciated his responsiveness, being propositional and meeting us in person at the houseboat. The driver Biju was great and showed us the best of Munnar and along the way. The chef and captain of the houseboat were very hospitable and the food provided was simply amazing. I recommend Sreestours to anybody who wants a tour adapted to your wishes, with no extra or hidden charges. The tour was great value for money and very reasonably priced. Sreestours also managed to get better rates at hotels of our choice - better than any booking website. Thank you to Sreestours for a great week in Kerala!

Wonderful experience in Munnar & Alleppy
Wonderfully efficient and caring staff. We were collected from the airport by the wonderful Sooraj who was so knowledgable and taught us so much. We travelled to Munnar for two nights and then spent a further 2 nights on the most gorgeous houseboats. An unforgettable trip we thoroughly enjoyed.

          4 days custom tour
Booked this customized tour for our first 4 days in India. We're here for 21 days, but thought a driver would be a soft landing and to get up to speed on India before going it on our own. They provided the perfect driver! Deepak was very kind, very accommodating, extremely courteous and PROMPT! Always waiting for us and ready for the next stop. He took excellent care of us. He will admit his English is a bit weak, but he tried very hard and we had no problems communicating at all! We decided to skip the interpretive dance the last night and he was fine with it, which turned out for the best since our hotel was pretty time consuming to get to. If you have Hills and Hues as an option, take it! It was beautiful and very cozy. Amber Dale was a bit noisey, but a very nice property. Beware of staying at a tree house at Nature Zone, the trails are a bit treacherous, but Manus Manus helped take our luggage up and back, otherwise we'd have been done for! He was so gracious and even came to help us get to dinner! He's a very nice guy! Everyone on this tour was very very nice and accommodating. I would highly recommend Srees for any of their tours. We didn't want to spend the night on a houseboat so they arranged for just a lunch tour and it was perfect. The food was delicious and we stopped and purchased prawns for our lunch to be cooked on the boat. The weather was beautiful the entire time. If I could change anything, I would stay 2 days at Hills and Hues and get dropped off as early as possible to really enjoy that resort, it's very special. Thank you Srees for making our first days in India wonderful!!! Book these guys without hesitation.

Great tour by an excellent tour company
Had a very memorable trip to Kerala and very efficiently coordinated by Srees Tours. Excellent accommodation, comfortable car & accomodating driver Abhilash, who went out of his way to give us some local experiences with food and places to take photos.

          Great trip!
We did have a very good trip. Highlights were our houseboat stay, visit to Abraham's Spice Garden near Thekkaddy and the dawn walk in the hills above Munnar. The hotel staff were all helpful and courteous and our driver Sooraj couldn't have been more helpful and patient. A great experience.

          Nice experience
The views are fantastic and the boat ride is very relaxing. It was. Try hot day but there’s AC inside and there’s a breeze when you go outside so it’s still pleasant. The rooms are nice. I think the price is a little high, at least during the time we went (Jan 1st)

        One day trip to Srivilliputhur
We booked a sleeper bus from Coimbatore and reached Hotel Shri Subam AC at 5.30 am. Went to Sri Andal temple by walk at 7 am, had a good darsan including vadabadrasayi temple. Bought famous palkova.Took an auto to Thiruvannamalai temple ( Lord Srinivasa Perumal looks exacly like Thiruppathi temple) by 8.15 am. Steps were little steep and good view from there. We had pathaneer which is very famous there.
From there we went to Madavarvalagam Shiva temple ( bigger temple) by the same auto and reached hotel by 11 am. Took rest till 1.15pm. Had wonderful lunch at Hotel Kathiravan AC and boarded bus just in front of this hotel to Sankaran koil. Had a good Darshan of lord Shiva, Gomathi amman, sankara Narayanar ( Shiva and vishnu in the same statue) and Putru koil.from there visited bambatti siddar jeevasamathi which is walkable distance from the temple. Reached hotel by 7 pm and took bus at 10.45 pm to Coimbatore. It was a nice one day trip.

Our day trip was nothing short of amazing. Sooraj was our tour guide and gave us the best experience. On our way to the waterfalls I mentioned my love for sweets so he did a pit stop at a local chip & bakery. Our next stop was the hanging bridge and gardens. The gardens were extra special filled with hundreds and hundreds of butterflies. We then drove on to the waterfalls. They were breathtaking. After our long travels we were hoping to hike and get in some walking. At athirapally you walk down rock steps to see the full view of the waterfall, wear good shoes!! I almost started the day in flip flops and switches to water shoes last minute, best decision. We took so many photos along the way. Unfortunately we are here for a wedding and had to cut the day short skipping the beach but the waterfalls alone were worth this trip. Thank you so much Sooraj for a wonderful day!!!

The forest views were amazing. PALM trees increased the beauty of Athirappilly. The waterfall is the giant one and scenic. Take 2 hrs at least to enjoy the destination. Try to take a jungle safari to see many wild elephants . Cherai beach is the clean one to enjoy .

I had a friendly and attentive driver.
He always responded to my wishes. He also knew a lot to tell.
The ride was great, the waterfalls a dream. The landscape in the hinterland of the coast is worth a trip of its own. I've recorded this for myself before ☺️
Thanks again to my driver for this beautiful tour!
