        Top class guide
My guide Vijay was simply the best! Government certified and with many years experience he chose an alternative route that made us work a bit harder on the climb but was totally worth it. He was pointing out the various fruit trees and animals - he was very knowledgeable and was excellent at determining the pace for the group. Thanks Vijay!

        Exceptional tour
The tea trail tour was an incredible surprise. An outstanding tour in every aspect: small group, great enthusiasm and knowledge from the guide Mar. Everything is perfectly organized: first you visit the tea fields. We learned to recognize the leaves of the different teas and we were able to see the pickers doing their work. For about an hour and a half to two hours we were walking around the plantation to understand everything about this extraordinary plant that can live up to 150 years. The last part of the tour was in the factory. It is a magnificent building from 1936. There you can see the entire process of drying, fermentation, pressing... It is a factory in full activity and in each of the areas you see the machines in full activity and Mary explains how each one of them works. Without a doubt it has been one of the best tours I have done in recent years. Highly recommended: enjoyable, interesting and very well organized. Thank you.

A brilliant insight into the word of tea growing and making at Lockart Estate
Mari, Priya and Ramesh really looked after my adult daughter and I. They provided a great insight into the world of growing and making tea at the Lockart Estate. Mari and Priya are so knowledgeable and explained everything to us very clearly and with such pride having been born in Munnar. Ramesh collected us in a tut-tut (extra charge) and explained the yerrain and flora long the route, allowing stops for scenario photography.

        Amazing hiking in Munnar
We had an amazing hike with Mani, he walked us through the tea plantation, showing us and explaining to us many many interesting things. After a few hours we reached the end of the plantation and then entered the forest and finally got to the peak of the highest mountain in the area. The views throughout were stunning. Mani was a great guide, gave us fruit and tea during the breaks and his homemade packed lunch was incredible. Absolutely recommended.

        Good, but
The tea plantations in Munnar are not be be missed as they are truly beautiful, however I had a problem with this trip as I could not understand the guide. Also, the guide was focused on one particular couple making the rest of us feel somehow excluded. I later learnt from the couple that they have asked him to take some photos, but if it was explained at the beginning by the guide it would have been nice.

        Fantastic and recommended!
This trip was truly amazing from the moment we have met Shiva, our guide! He was extremely attentive and adjusted the trip to our preferences. We stopped at some wonderful places to view the tea plantations and the beautiful landscapes. He let us wonder a bit and we stopped in the most beautiful place while waiting for the elephants to come to the river. He offered me flowers when I said I loved them. And most importantly, on our return mid-way through, he offered to go back to the river to see a big family of elephants! Thank you so much Shiva!

Great sunrise hike at the top station with Surya!
Had a great time on the sunrise tour this morning with Surya. We were picked up promptly at 4.30am and expertly driven to a spot just short of the top station. We hiked up for approximately 30mins and we were greeted with stunning sun rise views over the mountains. The best way to start your morning! Afterwards we hiked down through the tea plantations and took in the stunning views. We stopped at a local tea stand for some breakfast Vadai with tea and coffee which were excellent! We stopped at a few local tourist sites on our way back and managed to make it back to our hotel by 10am which left us with the rest of the day to relax and enjoy Munnar! Would highly recommend this tour and Surya! Can be chilly though so bring warm clothes!

        True hiking experience
Today’s hiking trip trough the mountains and tea plantations of Munnar exceeded all expectations. It was a real hike (stamina is needed and no major physical impairments). The guide Vijayan went off the beaten tracks and shared his knowledge about the local nature and of course the tea making. Thank you for such an great experience!

Wonderful wall through the tea fields of munnar
Frankly, this walk with Ramesh was one of the most beautiful ones I have ever done. After every corner, you will have a different spectacular view and I couldn't stop taking pictures. I can only recommend doing this walk if you want to experience the tea fields of Munnar rather than just stop somewhere and take pictures at the road.

I highly recommend MunnarInfo for an unforgettable experience. I booked the Anakulam Wild Elephant Village Life Experience, and it was absolutely worth it! A special thanks to my driver, Ganesh, an incredibly professional and kind guide. He was extremely patient and accommodating when I needed to stop for work, even providing me with a hotspot when my signal was weak. As a solo female traveler I completely felt safe throughout the journey. Beyond the breathtaking sight of wild elephants at the end of the tour, I loved the journey itself; the stunning viewpoints along the way and the thrilling jeep safari made the experience even more exciting eventhough I've been to munnar before. Thank you Ganesh! I’ll definitely be booking with you again on my next trip!

        Fantastic sunrise views
This was an excellent tour with our guide Suresh- definitely worth the very early morning start. Suresh picked us up from our hotel and took us to an amazing view point- it does include an amount of walking once you’ve left the jeep but he guided us well. The views were incredible and the sunrise was an amazing sight. Would recommend.

        Amazing trip with Suresh
We had a great trip with Suresh. He was an excellent guide with good knowledge of the wildlife in the area and was good fun. For a small additional cost he picked us up from our resort. Most of all though was the amazing location he took us to. After a 30 minute walk we arrived at the most stunning spot to watch the sunrise, a truly memorable experience. The 4am alarm was well worth it.

I started my tour with low expectations, but I found the best hospitality and service attitudes in India, in particular with this tour company which is extremely responsive and my driver Mithun. Mithun goes above and beyond for guests, and was very accommodating to my requests for photo stops and even places outside of those stated in the itinerary. It felt like he genuinely cared for the welfare and satisfaction of tourists, such as ensuring they do not overpay local vendors. He also encouraged me to do zipline which was not in my itinerary, when he could have just skipped places and be totally laidback about my experience. He is knowledgeable about the history and background of Munnar tea plantations too.

I believe that the perfect and hundreds of ratings for this tour company speaks for itself. Its pricing is also the best. A private tour cost the same or even lower than a group tour offered elsewhere. If you do book a tour with this tour company which is highly encouraged, do tip generously if you could.

This was my best experience during my two weeks in Kerala. It was a long trip but worth every minute for all the wonderful views and activities along the way — zip lining, elephant riding, visit to spice farm and Ayurveda consultation, visit to tea plantation, and multiple waterfalls. My guide, Mithun Albin was amazing — safe and careful driver, stopped whenever I asked to allow me to take photos, selected a restaurant for a delicious lunch, and was extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area and provided so much interesting information. He was so accommodating and friendly. He even found me some wild elephants in the valley to photograph. I highly recommend if you decide to take this trip, you recommend him as your guide.

Suupeer helpful! Mr Eby drove us to so many different places and he was extremely willing to stop along the road for pictures. He didn’t mind waiting for us whilst visiting the different museums and places and he accommodated all of our needs. We also added a jeep safari to this trip for extra charge in order to see the wild elephants and the tribe village, such a unique experience but be prepared, Munnar is quite far from Cochin.

This is a good tour to cover off Munnar in a day. But it does mean a lot of driving. My driver, Eby, did a great job! Hint - approx 1 hour each way is spent getting in and out of Cochin so picking up the tour from the airport area would reduce this.

The trip goes to a tea museum, which has an excellent video to cover the history of the area.

There are also lots of viewpoints, waterfalls and landscapes to take in. Plus an old church from the British era.

The breakfast and lunch spots are excellent and well priced.

The only stop I didn’t rate was the spice garden - a waste of time. They just want you to buy their alternative medicines.

It would also have been nice to have more of a commentary / guide in some areas.

I had some on/off rain during the day, but the location is so spectacular, this doesn’t matter!

Overall I would definitely recommend this trip!

One of the best trips I ever had, was so worth the money!
the car was comfortable, my travel guide/driver Mithun was amazing, probably the best part of my trip as he went beyond extra to help me take amazing videos and photos and has patience with me even though I had a lot of requests. I got beautiful videos walking inside the tea plantation thanks to him, I got to enjoy Munnar fully! was so beautiful, like a paradise in heaven on earth, endless greenery, felt like I was in Swiss in India!
Definitely a healing journey if you are into nature and peaceful trips cuz I'm a nature lover! you can tell the guide where you want to go, what you want to do, what you need to buy and he arranged everything for me and worked overtime even (thank you again), left hotel around 7am and reached aftee 10pm, there were stops along the way to Munnar so didn't feel tired!
I will definitely visit Munnar again with a hotel stay!
      highly recommended!!

We started the trip at 6:30 am with a pickup at the hotel. The guide/driver was extremely nice and friendly. Regarding the itinerary was not completely followed, no boat trip or paper making factory but overall was a good experience. We didn’t know that for just 5-6000 INR you can hire a driver for the whole day, to bring you from one place to the other. It would have been similar to what we had but less than half price.

Amazing trip - a lot of driving for one day but we had the energy and thought it was completely worth it. The Munnar scenery is stunning, especially once you’re all the way there, and our driver (shoutout Mithun!) did a wonderful job breaking up the trip and showing us a lot of great sites. Mithun really went above & beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable and comfortable trip, restocking our waters in the car, pulling over for photos, navigating some hair-raising traffic throughout the morning / afternoon / evening, etc. Also, if you have the option to do Gap Road on the way back, do it! Stunning views.

Wow! Munnar is absolutely stunning!!! Breathtaking views!

We were so lucky to have George as our driver/guide he was amazing! He went above and beyond to show the most amazing spots in Munnar in and away from the busy tourist areas. He is truly a credit to this tour! We are so grateful to him!
We watched the sun rise & set!
explored waterfalls, tea fields, echo point, chocolate making, spice tours and more.

The countryside around Munnar is beautiful, and a nice cool change from Kochi. A very long drive up and back, however 8+ hours in the car, but we had no other option as our time in Keralawas limited. Our driver, Eby, was very personable and accommodating.
The Tata Srishti Trust Workshop was especially interesting.
The tea museum was rather dilapidated and not worth the time.
The spice "plantation" was basically just a come-on to get you to buy things, basically same as dozens of other similar roadside tourist establishments.
More time seeing and exploring the landscape would be our recommendation.

I had a fabulous day out to Munnar, had excellent stops for breaks on the way, including a lovely breakfast and then interesting walk around spice / medicinal gardens with a very well informed guide, Julie.

My driver Mithun stopped off at other various stops and was happy to pull over for additional photo opportunities at my request. The tour around the tea plantations was amazing, he knew all the best view points! Was a very friendly, but courteous guy and I’m now planning to return to Munnar later during my stay in Kerala to Munnarinfo.in hotel and go on their walking tours.
