We took part in this tour from our cruise ship whilst at Cochin Port. It was really enjoyable. The guide was very good and explained things very well to the group. The meal following the tour was really nice and tasty.

Thank you Joyce for the second Tour in two days. We visited the true Kerala country side on our way to see the waterfalls. Along the way we visited an iconic Syrian Orthodox Church and meet with the High Priest. Then a Hindu Temple, pedestrian cable bridge and had dinner at a nice hotel restaurant. I highly recommend Joyce as he really knows the countryside. Thank you Joyce for two great days of adventure.

Before we book the tour we can speak about any thing we want to do. He organised that in a perfect way. Very special was the tour through the traditional vegetable and meat market to see how is the real life in Cochin. I traveled with my family and we have a very safe feeling through the hole tour. Ask him if he can organized a traditional lunch during the Tour and let you surprise. We enjoy every minute on the tour. Joyce.... That was very very good.

Joyce was an exceptional guide. His in-depth knowledge of history, art and architecture of Cochin was amazing. He is very professional and friendly and went above and beyond to ensure that our visit to Cochin was excellent. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Joyce.

We had a really good tour around Kochi and our guide (Joyce) explained everything really good and detailed and could answer all the questions we had. He was by far the best Tourguide we had in India. The planning was also really smooth with him and he organized a really good driver for us as well. We suffered a bit from the heat but the tour was adapted to our needs and we spend a good day in Kochi.

Joyce was an amazing and a very competent guide. We have been a German travel group of 16 pax with the age around 35 years. We booked the the day package for Kochi. Joyce organized the itinerary and the required transport including the driver for a more than reasonable price (We traveled Kerala for 10 days and could compare several prices). Joyce shared several interesting stories of the sights and could ask all our questions. His English is very good. We totally recommend him as a guide and kept his contact data.

Joyce was dishonest. We were visiting from Delhi for 4 days. On the first day we went to Alleppey and I asked him about day cruise for 3 hours which driving there. He had a connection with someone and kept saying that it will be 10000 rupees and you wont find any cruise there and please go there directly. We thought it is a lot so we checked with state tourism counter and they gave us an excellent houseboat in just Rs 5250. I am sure he had some cut in that money and glad we did not chose his guy. Second day we decided to go to Munnar. He asked us to leave early so we can do things in Munnar but after reaching Munnar, he was making faces in taking us everywhere that day. We again had to speak to state tourism counter to get more information. He insisted us not to go to Ernakulum national park saying you wont see any wildlife there and unfortunately we agreed to that. Then he started saying lets go back to Kochi as there will be rain and risk for landslides and we unfortunately could not complete the whole trip to Munnar. He just want to make his money by driving us on per kilometer rate. The next day we decided to go to wonderla amusement park and then to airport. This day he was horrible. I told him that it will take us 5-6 hours in the park. Then he started asking for more money or take all our lugagge out. We checked out of the hotel earlier that day as we were planning to go to airport directly. He was rude and started saying ‘dont argue’. He knew he is locally in Kochi and can get more business than waiting for us. Suddenly his per kilometre rates increased significantly more than the first three days which does not make any sense. Because he was rude we could not leave our luggage with him. We took it out and took a locker in the park. He is an absolute dishonest man. Do not trust or book his car.

My wife and I encountered Joyce on a houseboat cruise boat on the Kerala backwaters. Joyce was very clear and straightforward in his explanations of Kerala and its history, and given his 17 years of tour experience, had answers to all of our questions. We liked Joyce so much we hired him for an additional day to tour us around Cochin to see several sights (beach resort, Maharaja Palace, heritage museum, Fort Kochi, etc). Joyce was very flexible in adapting the tour so we could see what we wanted (more historical sites than massages or resorts), and he arrived early and catered completely to our needs. Will recommend Joyce to any of our friends that visit Kerala.

We were on a business trip to India with only one free day which was thankfully in Cochin. My Joyce offered a half day tuk tuk tour which sounds just the ticket after a week of taxis, hotels and airports. My Joyce and his driver are super friendly, very knowledgeable and relaxed. his recommendation of lunch at the Tissin hotel was spot on and we had we enjoyed the best meal so far in India. Thanks Mr Joyce for making our visit so memorable.

Joyce was a fantastic guide. I wanted to get away from the tourist places and see the real India. He took me to places only the locals go to. Breakfast in a little cafe with all the men heading to work, the local food and spice markets. I booked a day ahead of my tour and it was so good I booked another when my tour finished. I got to meet locals in there own homes and came away with a much better understanding of the realities of life in India.

Our trip on Kerala back waters was organized by Mr. Joyce Xavier . We dad house boat to ourselves and the service provided by the crew was excellent. Our every request was catered for with a smile.The inclusive LUNCH on board was a feast for our taste buds. I would not hesitate to recommend Joyce who wants a knowledgable gentleman as a organizer and guide.
