    Must do in Bangalore
Was such an amazing tour. Our guides were so knowledgeable about the history of Tipu Sultan and the Fort. And the flower market is a must see! They made sure we had everything we needed every step of the way. And even bought flowers for our hair. Highly recommend!

Great, safe, warm and insightful tour!
Wow! What an amazing experience! A real taste of Bangalore. Got picked up punctually, guide was knowledgeable and took to see incredible sights, including an old castle, two historic temple and the flower market. We hand wonderful coffee and samosas in a local favorite & squeezed in little shopping! Could not recommend more the services of Vanaja and her driver. Thank you so much!

Beating jet lag by exploring Bengaluru hot spots!
Vasuki was simply incredible! I'd originally booked a solo tour but was able to add a coworker at the last minute who is also in town for work. Vasuki is so kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating! He allowed a couple extra/unscheduled stops so I could get a snack at a food stall, shop for a beautiful scarf and outfit, and really took his time explaining India's history, culture, and Hindu topics. This was a fantastic way to spend a day (and helped me get on the right schedule after traveling 20+ hours from the US!) 10/10 recommend!

The best tour company in South india
Travelling as a solo female in India and I highly recommend Banaglore and Beyond. My tour guide Ramakrishna was a gem. A really great storyteller and so informative. And also really kind and made me feel very comfortable and safe. He even waited for my uber to come pick me up after the tour. If you are travelling solo or even as a group I recommend this company. There's so much to see and learn in India but without a guide it's a waste of time and money on your part.

    Invigorating stroll and breakfast
What a wonderful walk!! Varun was not just a guide of the common or "garden" variety! He took us round Lalbagh and showed us so much of the place, but more than everything, he showed such great enthusiasm and spoke so well about all the trees - most of whom he called "friends". It was not just informative but truly invigorating to have such an engaging person talking about what is certainly a miraculous place that Bangalore has to offer. Even breakfast was an enriching experience. More power to Varun and all of Bangalore & Beyond! Kiran & Bhavana

An exciting day getting to know Bengaluru
Had a very exciting day visiting Bengaluru with guide Raghu. It was a very full day strolling past trees and flowers in the lovely Lalbagh botanical gardens; receiving a blessing at the Bull Temple (almost 500 years old) and Ganesha Temple; admiring the arches and teak columns of Tipu Sultan's summer palace, taking in the chaos and colors of the KR Market, eating traditional lunch from a banana leaf, and ending my day with shopping. It was interesting to experience the city while hearing stories of Bangalore's history.

    Mysore Heritage Walk
Visited Mysore Palace for a day trip and was thoroughly impressed by its grandeur and history. Our guide, Ramakrishna, was exceptionally knowledgeable and brought the palace's stories to life. A must-visit spot when in Mysore. Highly recommend!

    Informative and relaxing walk
As a walk through Lalbagh we needed a session on socio-cultural history and a horticultural experience for international Students from Michigan State University, visiting us at RV University. Not only did the guide take us to all important spots, he named many species pointed to common and exotic plants. The breakfast at MTR was specially arranged for our largish group of 14 people, we did not have to wait long as it was pre-booked. It was a very pleasant day and the guests were Bangalored.

We were in Hampi for 3 days. Hotel Clarks Inn is a DISASTER. Very bad experience. Though Mohammad Mustafa in reception, was very friendly and co operative. I strongly suggest that anyone who is planning trip must stay in Hospet, where there are better hotels and food joints. It is just 12 LM from Hampi. 2 days is required for doing justice to Hampi. You should not miss opportunity to visit Badami Caves. Though, it is 165 KM from Hampi. Ideally stay in Hospet for 2 nights and 1 night in Badami. Railway junction is also there.

I really enjoyed this tour, mostly because of the Tour Guide, Vasuki. I found him to be entertaining, a great storyteller, interesting and engaging, and just genuinely concerned for the well-being of his tourist guests.

I had gone shopping earlier and had no time to return to my hotel to drop off bags so I had to carry my heavy bags with me. Upon my arrival, he immediately took some of my bags, even though I did not ask him. I was totally prepared to spend the entire time carrying the heavy bags. I thought that it was very thoughtful of him to take on a load that was not his nor was it a planned part of the tour.

For me the best part of the tour was the market and the Jain temple. I’ve been to markets in several cities in India now and they never ceases to amaze me. Vasuki was very good about caring for us to stay together and ensuring we bought safe items for travelers, understood market history and culture and were able to partake to some degree.

I am a solo female traveler. Ladies be sure to bring something to cover your shoulders and legs for the temple (hence my bags, amongst other things haha)

The tour was interesting and Vasuki is a fantastic guide. Plus he has great ideas, is patient about photography and takes great pictures!! At the end of the tour, he even took extra time to take me to a well respected soak market to buy some clothes for my trip to the Taj Mahal the next day. I really appreciate that the people at the business did not pressure me to buy extra when I said no more and the prices were very fair.

I recently took a guided tour through Bangalore with Vasuki. He is highly educated and speaks excellent English. Vasuki is very friendly and accommodating, with an immense knowledge of Indian religion and history.

Our three-hour tour was exceptional. Vasuki adapted to our pace, answered all our questions thoroughly, and was very considerate. He knew exactly where to take photos and kindly assisted us.

At the end of the tour, Vasuki took us to a local Indian restaurant that was hygienic, delicious, and reasonably priced. He continued to provide tips and accompanied us for a short while after the tour.

Highly recommend Vasuki for exploring Bangalore!

This afternoon walking tour with genial Mr Vasuki turned out to be the highlight of our trip to Bangalore. He is an informative & generous guide & we learned much about the history of Tipu’s Summer Palace & of Bangalore.
Without Mr Vasili leading us though the packed markets, it would have been daunting, but he made it lots of fun, stoop to chat with flower vendors & buying us a local coffee when our energy levels flagged.
The tour gave us the confidence to return to KR market alone & to wander about for hours taking photos. The people of Bangalore are very kind & warm-hearted. I’d highly recommend this tour in the company of Mr Visek.

I did the walking tour on a recommendation and it was the best thing I've done in the city. My guide was incredibly knowledgeable, giving great insight into the city and its history. In particular the market which would have been extremely intimidating on my own felt calm and relaxed with an expert. Ive already recommended this tour to all my team in Bangaluru!

I had a fantastic time on the Bengaluru Pété Walk! The itinerary was well-planned, covering historical gems like Tipu Palace, Koté Vishnu, the Fort, KR Market, and the beautiful Jain Temple. The guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the experience even more enjoyable. It was a great mix of history, culture, and local vibes. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to explore the heart of Bengaluru!

Excellent tour around the old city explaining the origins of the city, its growth and seeing the everyday life of its residents. The flower market and Jain Temple were highlights of the tour. Our guide Phaneesh was very knowledgeable and tailored the tour to ensure the participants requirements were met. He led us through the busy streets to areas I would not have visited independently. I finished the tour understanding more of life in Bangalore.

I had a great afternoon with Raghu, my guide. We’ve walked around the main sites of Bangalore while he was sharing histories and curiosities about the places. He answered all my questions and made me feel safe, as a solo woman traveller. The only downside is that the tour is quite pricey, compared to other similar activities in this region of India. It’s a great tour, just way over-priced!

Hi Ms. Schroeder, Thank you so much for your positive feedback on the guide, the content, the sites etc. of this Walking Tour. Please note that the price you have paid is inclusive of - entrance fee at Tipu Palace, shoe-keeping at temples, fee for the approved and licensed guide, Trip Advisor platform fee and all taxes. Additionally our guide has bought tender coconut for you for an Indian experience. He has also showed you the Jami Masjid which was not marked on the itinerary. Further, I assure you that we are offering this at the lowest cost than all our competitors in Bangalore for a similar experience. Since you were a solo traveler the fee might seem more since you paid Rs.5000. Had it been two people the price drastically reduces to Rs.3000 per person! Please get back to us for any clarifications on phaneeshkrao@gmail.com. However, we look forward you to be a part of our other services in future!

This tour is excellently organized and guided by tour guide Vasuki. He knows a lot about the culture and history of India and brings it vividly to the visitor. I now better understand backgrounds and culture, historical sites and customs, as well as everyday life in Bengaluru. Places I wouldn't have found or understood on my own. The typical Indian snack at the end completed the tour perfectly with a culinary experience. Chauffeur Mr. Raghu drove safely and calmly through Bengaluru's streets. Communication with Phaneesh regarding organization was always excellent. 5 stars!

I had only one day to explore the city and this was very good choice. The tour was super nice. Raghu ( my guide) was very professional and he explained all historical context to me. He was very patient. As a female solo traveler I was a bit afraid to explore the city on my own. So this tour was the solution. We explored the summer palace, the fort, the Jain Temple and the market. I would never have managed to know all this context on my own. He was super friendly and helpful. He also helped me find an Uber after we are done and waited until my Uber came, he even called the Uber driver himself to explain where we are exactly. I really enjoyed the tour with Raghu.

It has been a great afternoon in Bangalore. Bangalore is not the most touristic city in India. We had a free afternoon on our business trip so we decided to take a guided tour. There are no big monuments or palaces but the guide make the experience really enjoyable and interesting giving us a lot of information about the locations and the story of the city and the region.
what I liked most is the visit to the market. Having someone guiding us in the different sections of the market was really interesting.

Suggested experience!
