Vignesh was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable about the sites we visited and provided in-depth answers to all of our questions.

I could not recommend this tour more! If you are a food-lover, you must book. Jai was very kind, knowledgeable and good company. He showed us the flower market, fruit and veg wholesalers and then we got the Metro to have many tasty treats at a street food market. Honestly it was like eating 3 different delicious dinners - so many delicacies!

My tour guide Shivakumar was knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful on my trip. We had a long drive Mysore and he kept the conversation going, pointed out points of interest and very accommodating!

This tour requires some driving time. The highlight for me was the silk pod market. It is a fascinating place and learning how the pods are sold was very interesting. From there we visited a toy factory. That was somewhat interesting and may have been made better if more in the history or significance of the place was shared. The toy store we stopped at had a lot of variety. We also went to a recreation of historic times and villages where artifacts and relics were housed. This was okay and was made a little confounding by having a grounds person, perhaps docent follow us through. He was speaking over the guide and was hard to understand. The place was still under some construction but it was not obtrusive. There was some signage in English that provided historical perspective and that could have been enhanced. Our lunch stop was excellent. We ate with our hand off a banana leaf in traditional fashion. Final stop was the 400+ year old banyan tree. Some historical background on the tree would have been more interesting than pointing out the obvious way in which the tree grows and expands. More about the tree origins in India would have been of interest. My guide Vignesh spoke excellent English, communicated well regarding pickup details and was very accommodating. I am not sure I would call this a folk art tour, but some of the sites were of interest to me.

Perfect organisation. Great hotels. Mohan our driver/guide was EXCEPTIONAL! This was part of a 10 day trip with Mohan and 5 senses tours All went brilliantly! We would rate them much more than 5 out of 5!

A wonderful trip through the heart of ancient Karnataka. Vast monumental sites at Hampi and Aihole. A wonderful visit to Virupaksha and Galaganatha temples at Pattadakal. The enigmatic caves of Badami. A walkaround the Agastya Lake, going up the hill to visit 2 ancient monuments, the beautiful Boothnath temple close to the lake. Extensively guided by the sound and knowledgeable guides Rajesh (Hampi) and Kotresh (Aihole and Pattadakal). This 5day tour, very well organised through 5Senses Tours, we were accompanied and driven around by our most friendly driver Mohan.

The temples at Halebid and Belur are just magnificent! The intricate carvings left us spellbound. While elements have damaged the sculptures somewhat, these are still very impressive. ASI has done a decent job in beautifying the the whole complex and it is reasonably clean. Worth a visit for anybody looking for great architecture and sculptures.

My tour experience was fantastic! The guides were extremely knowledgeable and provided a wealth of information. Highly recommend!

Had a great day with Satish to go see the Mysore palace. The ride was clean, cool and comfortable, with plenty of water. We stopped at several attractions and had special guides at those locations that further provided an elevated experience. There were personalized stories and tours around the different sites. They really delivered a top level touring service, and all of the best places to take the photos. Lunch was delicious and local!

Had a fabulous day out. Divakar collected me from my hotel and was excellent company on the journey, he is very knowledgeable and was happy to answer all my questions. My local guide, Chethan, for the Mysuru Palau was friendly, informed and happy to take some photos for me. One of the highlights for me was the authentic local lunch, throughout which Divakar explained how to properly eat the many dishes offered. Overall an excellent day out :)

We had a really good time in this tour. The hotel that was booked for us was very nice, and our driver, Harish, and tour guide, Rajesh, were kind and helpful.

We had a very chill and relaxed trip with Shiva and Thipesh. Shiva knows a lot and helps with answering all your doubts. He speaks very calmly and clearly and it is very easy follow him. He was incredibly considerate towards our young son. We had enjoyed and would remember this very well.
