Fida the manager, is a walking encyclopaedia! He has a Ph.D. on historical anthropology !! I took a tour in ancient city and learnt a lot from him knowledge. Our experience with Fida and team of Ladakh backpackers were superb . It was one of our most memorable trip . They got everything right from providing a very seasoned driver , very clean car , best hotels and planning the days . We were in Ladakh for 7 days and visited Nubra and Pangong too . They curated a beautiful cycling tour which I would definitely recommend followed by a walk in the old Leh town . This was a highlight of our trip .

Ladakh Backpackers is the best travel agency that my wife and I encountered so far and we travel a lot. They made a tailored trip for us, that included beautiful places in Kashmir and Ladakh. Everything was perfect from one end to another of our trip. The locations, the restaurants that our two drivers chose on the way, the special activities that we took part in, all this made our vacation a perfect one. The owner of the travel agency, Fida, is a really great guy, the interaction with him was very pleasant, he really knows how to take good care of his guests. One of the interesting experiences we had was watching a polo match in his home village, followed by a very beautiful show with Ladakhi music and dances. Worth mentioning is also Padma, who showed us beautiful stupas in Leh, and last but not least, Shakeel, a great guy, who was our driver and tour executive in Kashmir and Abdul, who drove us through the mountains of Ladakh. i highly recommend this kind hearted team who made our vacation absolutely perfect.

We had an amazing trip to Ladakh thanks to the Ladakh Backpackers. Their highly professional job with the pre-travel guidance, very well curated customised itinerary and excellent arrangement throughout the trip was commendable. I was touched by the personal touch and the eye for details of Ms Fida and Mr. Padma. The hotels booked through them were comfortable. The travel on demanding routes was made comfortable by a good SUV in the hands of an experienced driver, Ghulam. Ghulam's helpful attitude throughout the journey was outstanding. The camel ride on the sand dunes in Nubra Valley was surreal. The Pangong Pso at 14K ft surrounded by mountains has to be in the bucket list of everyone. The experience was an awe inspiring testimony to the 50Mn year history of formation of the Himalayas through the collision of Indian subcontinent plate with the Eurasia plate. If I were to plan the itinerary again I would keep 3 clears days in Leh for acclimatisation to the altitude. There is enough in Leh to help one explore in a leisurely place. Wonderful experience with Ladakh Backpackers! They were able to customize a tour to our specifications as we wanted to include a trip to a festival at a monastery. Very flexible with the tour planning. Overall, the tour had a lot of great activities and we were able to see a lot. The accommodations chosen were very comfortable and suited us perfectly. Food was excellent and well-prepared at each place. The driver was incredibly safe, patient and accommodating as well. Useful tip if you're visiting Turtuk (and you should). Go for two nights. We only did one and felt it wasn't enough. Thanks again Ladakh Backpackers. It was an incredible time!

We did a customized tour with Ladakh Backpackers, being a family group including two children (8 and 11). Ladakh backpackers planned an itinerary according to our ideas, booked accommodation and arranged for a vehicle cum driver and a guide. It was a great experience – though we would have wished for the guide to provide more insight into the special aspects of art and history (one point of in the rating for that), he was great in finding nice stops for the kids (and us) – at a river or with sheep or yaks. We appreciated that very much. My personal highlights were the Domkhar rock art, the cave temples at Saspol and the drive through the Shayok valley.

We were family of 6 - went for 10 day trip from Chennai. I was worried that my father who is near 70 and mother near 65 can go through the trip- esp khardungla pass where oxygen is less, pangong tso where oxygen drops fast at night and chang la pass. No issues whatsoever we had. It was perfectly planned and executed including oxygen cylinders best innova and drivers who knew the area like back of the hand. Ladakh backpackers made it happen. From the airport pickup in srinagar to boat house to monasteries to leh to turtuk to dunes to camel ride to snowy mountains - the best tour we ever had. Would recommend ladakh backpackers to be safe and enjoy.

As Ladakh is a high altitude region the tour design with time for acclimatisation to high altitude helps a lot. We always had a Oxygen Cylinder in the tour vehicle in case of emergency, but did not require it. Fida and Padma met us twice to see if everything was going fine. A big shoutout to Zahoor Bhai our vehicle driver for his calm and safe driving throughout our time in Ladakh and answering our questions. All in all the Ladakh Backpackers Rock.
