Amongst the numerous boats on the river, you get to see it all. It was great being able to make an offering from the boat to the wonderful river. The facade is amazingly majestic, but this is definitely a drive by monument. Inside was a complete let down and we could not wait to move on. There were a few maybe 3-4 small "palaces" in there that were cordoned off. The long entrance itself with vendors seemed so out of place and commercialized. We saw more run down cafeterias than anything worth looking at. I would highly recommend the Red Fort that is in Agra instead.Written 14 January 2025

The fort is very beautiful with large parks and one could imagine what it would have looked like flowing with water! I would highly recommend it for a special half day in Delhi - could be combined with a shopping spree as well as the market inside the fort had unique gifts.Written 28 December 2024

Stay Away!The vendor did not offer any pick up services and the pick up point requires you to take a long walk through a few cremation ghats where some serious strong smoke was blowing in the air. When we got to the boat, they didn’t even stop to allow for time to sink in the scene and pictures. The Aarti was okay - originally the plan was to sit there on the boat for an hour to watch it but it’s completely blocked by other boats anyways.Written 28 December 2024
- Venture374867063550 contributionsVaranasi where your heart and soul meetsVaranasi is beautiful in the winters. The gaga Aarti at Assi ghat in the morning is over rated. The boat ride upto Namo ghat in the morning and evening is a must as it’s different experience. The mankarnika ghat has become tourist attraction, however the energy is very different their and do not go without proper preparation and information. Check YouTube for that. We stayed at this beautiful Ashirwad home stay , wonderful place and wonderful service. Must check out if you are looking for home away from home. Close to most areas and away from the noise of Varanasi. Kashi Vishwanath was the highlight of the trip. Do go for the mangala aarti at 2 am. Worth it. It’s a food paradise and go with local recommendations. Don’t forget to have Banarasi paan.Written 25 December 2024

Solution was provided, also no tour guide is available is just a private chofer driving you around and waiting for you. - Compass653979135440 contributionsSay No to Sun Leisure Goa tours!This was the worst experience we have ever had on a tour anywhere in the world. Communication was terrible from Sun Leisure's Anush and Anurag. After asking several times for guide meeting instructions and related information, Anurag sent it at 1130 PM the night before the tour. The day of the tour we eventually found the cab driver assigned to us. Not a guide but a taxi driver, seemed nice enough but we needed google translate most of the time and received no relevant area information or guide services. The car was small and uncomfortable for 4 people. We requested a car we could fit in and was told it would cost another 10000 rupees, more than the original cost of the so called "tour". We could only take a couple hours piled in the car and called it quits. If you want a taxi I would just hire one. If you want a tour, I would most definitely go elsewhere.Written 4 December 2024

Varanasi can be a bit overwhelming and Rahul made the experience super peaceful and friendly. The boat ride at sunset was simply beautiful. He knows so much about the city, meditation, and spirituality (if you are on that path). The cherry of the day: after the tour, he showed me some hidden city gems. Not only was the boat trip a great way to see the sights, Rahul also shared some of his own secret spots. He was very attentive and stayed with us well after the allocated tour time to make sure we saw the fire ceremony and safely to a car in all of the evening madness. Highly recommend the full day tour of Chandigarh! Ask for tour guide Sanjeev. Out of my many experiences booking on Viator, Sanjeev is the best guide ever. He’s knowledgeable, friendly, a scholar and a researcher, and customized our tour based on weather and our interests. His car is also quite big and spacious and made for a very comfortable ride. Thank you Sanjeev!
