Great experience if you don’t like getting into the water yourself!
You’re taken to a docking platform by boat and you enter the submarine which is comfortable with air conditioning (although getting in I could tell some people struggled but I was absolutely fine). Within you have plenty of windows and the divers that swim around it to feed fish really do great work, as you get exposure to so many fish and they go to every window. Annoyingly didn’t see any dolphins or bigger fish, shark, whales but sindbad cannot control that!
A special shout out to Asma who really made our experience. She was experienced, extremely welcoming and spoke 5 languages! It was incredible to watch. I also feel like she was genuinely interested in your comfort and any conversation you felt comfortable having. I do think she is an asset to the company and made our experience that bit better.
For those who love swimming in the sea, I would probably recommend diving oppose to this as you’d get a lot more exposure to different marine life and coral reefs and would imagine it would be more engaging. The trip itself is 40 mins and went by quickly.
Photos are relatively expensive but then that’s everywhere in Egypt resorts that charge prices higher than the UK for certain things (eg the resort is Charing 30euros for a bottle of wine and you can get a £20-£25 bottle of wine in restaurants in London) but I guess this is how they make their money.
£75 (two people) for the experience I do think is a little on the expensive side I feel, however the experience on the whole was pleasant and the staff were very welcoming (so I guess this is a management level issue). I think £50 is a lot more palatable however we did have a full submarine so clearly they’re making their money and people find pleasure in this - as we did too!

Sindbad Submarine is a nice trip. First you go by boat to the submarine platform. After the dive you drive along a reef. First the backboard side sees the reef, then the submarine turns and the starboard side can then inspect the reef. The other side, which does not have a view of the reef, is blessed with a diver who tries to entertain the passengers.

Family experience on the Red Sea!
Super modern and well equipped air conditioned submarine with fantastic and friendly crew.
I can recommend it to companies of all ages and interests. If someone is afraid of water or the deep, don't worry!
We arrived dry and left dry.
From the shore, we took a beautiful sightseeing boat to the docks, which is located on the water a few hundred meters from the pier.
There was no waiting time either at the ship or when transferring to the submarine. The staff was helpful in every way, they even helped us up and down the ladder.
The sight is indescribable, countless sea creatures swam around the vehicle, providing continuous attractions for the adventurous explorers! There was even a diver swimming with us outside the window, who used funny stunts to attract the children's attention to the fish, and to draw them around the vehicle. The sight of corals, shipwrecks and fish peeking out of treasure chests at a depth of 20-30 meters is indescribable!
Let's be honest with ourselves, it's not often that we have the opportunity to step on a real submarine and discover the living world below sea level on dry land, so close to Europe! The price is also very friendly for everything we could be a part of! I can only recommend it to young, old, fearful and brave people who have seen a lot. Both sides of the vehicle are equipped with more than enough windows for everyone to comfortably look around and take photos without any crowding from a comfortable seat. At the end of the tour, you could also take a photo in the captain's chair. They even gave us a soft drink and a certificate on the cruise before we arrived back! On the beach, they even took us with a Golf cart from the ship to the building so that no one would have to walk in the heat.

If you've seen decent reefs (and there are very few now) you will be disappointed. It's largely degraded with very little colour. They will say that it's because it's an artificial reef (and they've sunk ships, cages, statues and cannons to simulate/stimulate a reef) but really it's poor because of global heating. They do their best, they feed the fish and some of them are lovely, but there aren't any marine biologists aboard who can tell you what they are. We saw some dolphins but they didn't know which spp. they were. It's not a truly bad experience, we didn't sink and noone freaked out, but it's quite lame and not worth $70.

Swimming to go out with kids ages 4 and 10. I really enjoyed it! First they bring you to the building where they give you a number - that's your boat seat number, then golf carts to shore. There you get on a big boat and drive to the platform for 20 minutes from which the submarines leave. You dive in with two scuba divers - they swim around the boat in the process, take pictures of you, lure fish - very positive guys! You go down a steep staircase to the boat - you better wear comfortable shoes! On the way back they offer to purchase a photo: discount on what’s up $60. On the way back, they treat you to juice and give you a dive certificate - very nice! Bottom line: a great option to dilute the beach vacation! Kids are excited, adults are too!

Great trip, definitely worth the money!
Everything is very well thought out: they take you to the pier in an electric car, and on a special boat to the platform where they board you in a submarine.
While on one side the drivers feed the fish, on the other side you look at a stunning reef with a very diverse flora and fauna.
Special thanks to the girl Sky for the instructions and attitude.
We definitely recommend the trip.

It was a lovely experience but the actual view differ from those of the photos, it's not close to being as colourful.
Wish we could've witnessed more greenery. The swimmers made it more entertaining whilst feeding the fish.
They also take photos of you that you can purchase, which is a package deal costing 50$. I only liked one photo, so didn't purchase it. Overall, it was a good experience for someone that's never been in a submarine before.

The underwater tour by submarine was an absolute highlight of our holiday! As soon as we entered the submarine we felt safe and well looked after – the team was extremely professional, friendly and competent.
The view through the large panoramic windows was breathtaking. We immersed ourselves in a whole new world of dazzling colours and fascinating sea creatures. It was particularly impressive to be so close to a sponge. The experienced guide explained exciting details about the underwater world during the ride, which made the experience even more interesting.
The submarine itself was modern, comfortable and had enough space to enjoy the view in peace. The whole tour was perfectly organized, from the welcome to the safe surfacing.

It was a very disappointing and not enjoyable journey. The bus was heavily delayed by 15 minutes and we didn't get to enjoy much except a group of dead corals and a few fish that would have been beautiful to see either while snorkeling or while scuba diving. We spent a lot of money to be left unimpressed.
