      Worth doing!!
A lady in our small group tour didn't want to go on this, so she gave that tour to me. What a nice day we all had! Small boat in the harbor to a bigger boat where we took off nw towards Isla Lobos .Anchored the boat and had lunch of either chicken or fish. Then a small dingy to Isla Lobos. Saw our first blue footed Bobbie's. Neat birds and one with a young chick. Back to the boat where we all went snorkeling. My first time ever. Really neat!! Then we moved the boat to another nice bay with a beautiful bay and snorkeled again. Then back to the harbor. Excellent day!!

San Cristóbal, galápagos, do not stay at Andy’s Hostel
I can’t find how to start my own topic but if you’re going to San Cristobal do NOT stay at Andy’s hostel. The rooms are without windows like coffins and it’s noisy. The owner lied and said we’d given her $75 when we’d given her $150. However desperate do not stay here. San Cristóbal is small and the weekends get busy so book ahead. We’ve been island hopping on our own (my son and I) without a tour, unless necessary, so we didn’t book ahead- we’ve been lucky on the other islands. They are inflexible here unlike the mainland and the food is pretty average everywhere with a coffee shortage post pandemic too… Moaning over - as with most countries that offer spectacular sights there is often hard travelling involved. But this is spectacular. You don’t need to spend a fortune either. Come and enjoy it but a lot has closed in the pandemic so you probably need to be a little more organised than we were. Air B and B works here but the internet is terrible so it’s hard for people to have an online presence. In fact we didn’t have internet on Isabela before coming here so we couldn’t have booked ahead! The best meal I’ve had in two months travelling was the next block towards the sea from the dreadful Andy’s, on the left. Fabulous fresh fish, lobster and meat on the grill. It’s slow but worth it, cooked to order If you can afford it get the bi-plane to Isabella or back, otherwise it’s two long rough boat rides vía Santa Cruz and a few hours wait inbetween. I’ve loved it here, I was in Ecuador mainland before - I’m just trying to help not complain. It’s fabulous. For anyone who needs stuff with them there are hardly any shops so bring your shampoo/medicines!

Do not book with this tour group
This tour company cancelled on me at the last minute, and told me they did not have enough folks for the tour. I paid $1000 to go to San Cristobal for this particular tour for one day and they basically left me with no tour by cancelling.

This Island is all about the family and friends. Very safe. People are paying attention to your behavior and you are expected to behave! Even the few local drunks we encountered were polite and friendly. Plenty of things to do, places to see and good food to eat. Seals are wild on the water front and have soiled a few benches so watch where you sit and step. Must take a snorkeling tour anywhere. Kicker rock a favorite and worth the money. Trip to China beach, hike around lake and turtle sanctuary very memorable. If you go see the turtles be sure to say hi to Jeffery (Hef-ri) from us. This is an Island that sees a lot of tourists and has done a good job of walking that thin line between giving the tourists what they want and maintaining an authentic local identity. You will see some hard looks but if you are genuine and curious those looks melt easily. Did I mention the children are happy. That’s always a good sign. And if you haven’t booked yet there are public restrooms! No fee! Felix viaje.

This snorkeling tour was great. Had a fabulous nature guide. They provide wetsuits, snorkeling equipment, snacks, lunch & drinks. We stopped at 4/5 places 2 snorkeling + beach time, ( u could snorkel off beach or go snorkeling w/ sharks). I Swam with sea turtles, and blackfin sharks, and saw sting rays... This trip was amazing. I have been on at least 25 + snorkeling trips from Bali to Costa Rica and in between. I saw more amazing sea animals on this trip than anywhere I have ever snorkeled. The c0rew was great. It is about $ 165 per person (off-season), but worth every dollar. The trip was 7-8 hours.

This tour is perfect for anyone who wants to explore hard to reach parts of San Cristóbal and learn about the beautiful ecosystem. Our guide, Lorenzo, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The entire crew made us feel welcome and accommodated. The tour is a good mix of guided exploration and free time. I recommend taking a motion sickness pill beforehand if you’re not used to being on open water. I highly recommend this tour!!

Very nice sight seeing. Highlight was that we saw the red footed Booby. Snorkeling was disappointing. Guide raised expectation mentionning orcas, delphins, sharks, but we only saw a fin of a supposedly hammerhead shar but we were not allowed to jump. At kicker rock we jumped but water was murky some fish and lots of turtles. Current at the wall made it difficult to snorkel. Make sure you get a good mask as some are crap. Also the snorkel lets water in (not the advanced type. Best to bring your own. You get a wet suit.

Hi! We are sorry you were not able to appreciate more of the fauna, you traveled during a great season and the weather is usually very nice & you are able to see animals, but this situation is out of our control. If the tour guide mentioned that you could see them it's because you usually can during this time, like we stated before. In regards of the snorkel equipment, we appreciate your comments and we will proceed to check on them. We hope you had good time in Galápagos! :)

We paid to snorkel and fish, the tour did NOT take us fishing. Several times we asked the guide when we would fish and he said “next stop” and there was never a next stop. Also he was way more concerned with videoing content for himself, not guiding or informing us about any of the areas. At Kicker Rock we almost got hit by rockfall and the guide was oblivious, I honestly feel we could have been killed. So on top of not getting what we paid for, we had an epically useless guide. Do yourself a favor and shop around, this tour was the low point of our vacation.

Hello! The 360 Full Day Tour main attraction is the snorkeling activity in the several points mentioned in our itinerary. The fishing activity mentioned on your review depends on different factors (time, traveleres requests, etc). We still hope you had a great time in Galápagos :)

What I wish I knew before I booked:
You can make reservations a day or 2 days before so you don’t have to plan. Booking before and online is way more expensive. And I feel mislead. I thought there would be more fishing. We only threw one cast out and reeled it in. The tour itself gets 5 stars. The guide and boat were great and it was a surreal and beautiful experience. You have to do this if you visit Galapagos and plan to do trip by land

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to write to us and we love knowing that the tour met your expectations. I don't understand what you mean that the price can be cheaper, what I can tell you is that the quotas in Galapagos are very variable and scarce + a destination that is not very accessible, so I would not risk waiting until the last minute to Reserve! This was our first excursion on the Galapagos and our guide Andres, blew our expectations! Sharks within minutes of hitting the water. Turtles and sea lions everywhere!! Andres helped us get perfect pictures at Darwin’s window. 🤩🤩🤩 We ended our day at Kicker Rock where we ran into a big school of hammerheads while snorkeling! Doesn’t get better than that!!

The 8.5 hour trip around the island was horrific for us. Between stops, the boat went so fast that we were thudding into the waves, spray everywhere. We were naive, expecting a more leisurely experience! We both felt pretty bad on the boat (wife was sick), no way could we eat lunch! We didn't snorkel so didn't see a lot (that was our fault, not the boat's). I accept that we're not great boat travelers, if you're not then our advice is not to go.

Dear Sarrang Thank you for your comment; the vast majority of Galapagos excursions include traveling by boat to these magnificent islands. We very are very disappointed that this journey did not provide you with complete satisfaction. If you had notified us that you were not comfortable traveling by boat, we would have offered you other options. We hope you enjoy your visit to Galapagos Islands and hope to see you again soon.

Don't forget your Dramamine. Apply sunscreen. It was a great first tour. We got to touch on all parts of the island. We saw turtles, dolphins, sharks, sting rays, etc. it was a great time! But be prepared for a pretty bumpy ride!

Unfortunately the tour never showed up a the pier and we missed our opportunity to do the main thing we were hoping to do, snorkel at Kicker rock. Book at your own risk. Our travel agent is working to get a refund from Viator. Hopefully we will get a refund for this costly tour.

Hello Dennis, we are sorry about this inconvenience. There was a problem with the platform and this booking didn't appear in our system. However, you had another tour with us in Bartolomé and everything went well. Once again we are sorry about this, and we'll proceed with the refund.
