I just did the Guatapé tour with MAXITOURS, and honestly, it was the best decision ever! From start to finish, the guide and driver were super kind and respectful, which really made the whole experience special. A huge shoutout to Stiven, our guide for the day—he was absolutely brilliant! His fun and lively personality brought so much energy to the tour, making it not only informative but also so much fun. 🤩 I genuinely don’t have a single complaint, except maybe that the time at each stop wasn’t quite enough if you’re someone who likes to take things slow and really soak in the sights. If you want to explore each place at a more relaxed pace, you might feel like you’re rushing a bit. But honestly, that’s a small thing compared to the overall experience. The breakfast and lunch were also delicious, which was a nice bonus! Overall, my Guatapé tour exceeded all my expectations. Highly recommend it—10/10! Huge Thank you to Maxitours and Stiven! 😊😊😊😊

Excellent service, they waited for us for 8 mins since we were running late; we were with a 3 year old and made all the experience so cool for him. Loved it and loved Stiven as our guide, he was energetic and knowledgeable

The tour was so crawded, it took 1.5 hour to collectbthe people from their hostals. We were the first. Than quick 3 park stop Botero park was only 20 min which wasnt enough... No time to enjoy the scolpters... The guide was speaking not a good english. She was speaking spanish 20 min and english only 2 min. We wee only 4 peole listen English. The worst part was Comunty 13... I did know the history befor. I followed last 25 years it. So I realy wanted to feel the real sprit of it plus I wanted to see, at least some of the famous grafitties from threagon. But insted we stoped on poster shop, one icecream shop, one break dance show and one sfree singing show... Nothing related abot the13.... I was soooo upset, spoke with the guide, she said she is doing as the campany wishes... This tour planed to forse us to shop at some certain shops and for entartainments, thats all... If you are cultural turist, or want to learn the story of The 13 necer join this. They felt me as a cheap turist... wishes nothing than entertainment doesnt care about the historiry and humanty....

Horrible experience, we paid for a English tour (we were 19 people in a sharing bus) at the comuna 13 all the tour was in Spanish, they sent us the English info through WhatsApp and not everyone had it. they did not let us take time to visit the stores and take pictures in different places, everything was in a rush…we lost our money, horrible experience.

I did a tour to Guatapé/El Peñol with Mr. Stiven Gonzalez. The whole trip was well organized and structured, Stiven being very welcoming, informative, funny and overall charming. He gave the complete tour a good frame, was always open to be asked questions and very helpful during the day. The sights included in the tour were balanced- of course some of the stops like Guatapé city- would be appreciated with some more time, but I guess that's complicated to combine within a tour of about 5 stops per trip. The one thing that I didn't like was when I booked the trip through an agent I was not given the possibility to choose time and place of pickup for the tour. Other travelers were picked up right at their hotel whereas I was told to walk to a metro station 15 min away from my hotel plus being the very first stop in the morning I then had to sit for about 10 other stops until we finally left the city. I certainly had prefereed to choose the pickup place, but no options were given. Overall a nice excursion to beautiful Guatapé area.

We had an awesome time. Our tour guide Stiven was awesome. He is bilingual, knowledgeable, personable, with a good sense of humor. The breakfast and lunch were below expectations but overall a fun tjme.

Great Tour Gautape’ and la piedra el penol! Our Guide Stiven was really funny, supportive and knowledgeable. We had a relly nice time and were able to visit many places in one day. the only downside of the tour was the little time we spent in Guatape’ pueblo as it’s a beautiful place. But we got to go on the boat to visit the guatape’ lagoon. I really recommend Maxitour and Stiven!

Maxitours is unreliable. Firstly, their advertisement says that they pick up from hotels, but actually required us to go to a central location to board the buses: Strike One! After confirming my reservation around 6pm for a next day tour to Guatape, they texted me at 10pm to let me know that there were no more spots available. Strike Two! So unprofessional. I cannot recommend them and warn you about what happened to me.

Nice tour with beautiful views from Guatape Rock.If you like to do something different and exercise a little, you can do it. Our tour guide Steve was great !!! And the driver did a great job too. In our tour we have time for walking around, do a little shopping see Guatape culture. The boat was nice a relaxing with great clime. I recommend this tour to everyone. Love Medellin!!!

Very well organised trip to Gutape, our guide Steven was excellent and the day was well planned and went without a hitch. I would recommend to anyone who is visiting Colombia.
