- Tourist7152980 contributionsA wonderful evening! Thanks to Kim, our excellent tuk tuk driver who took us on a lovely drive through the colorful streets of Siem Reap to Amazon for dinner and show. Our meal was excellent - a sumptuous buffet with plenty to offer and all delicious! The performers were wonderful - fantastic costumes, dancing and music. An excellent evening! Then Kim was ready and waiting for us to return us to our hotel. A wonderful evening.Written 10 January 2025

- retiredandtraveling50 contributionsDon’t miss this “Dinner Show Theatre” in Siem Reap Cambodia! We received a warm welcome to the Kanell Dinner show at 7 Makara Street in Siem Reap Cambodia. Our hosts were waiting with cool scented hand towels as we walked past welcoming dancers to our seats. A multi course dinner was served (cocktails not included) which included appetizers, soup, assorted local foods as an entree, and dessert. Live music played as we ate and a very professional set of dancers entertained us. The final set of apsara dancers was our favorite. Their precision was amazing. Their traditional dress was beautiful! At the end of the evening the host and chef came around to each table to see that we enjoyed dinner and the show. For a taste of Cambodia and its traditional dances, this is a stop worth making!Written 9 December 2024

- paulchesh740 contributionsA beautiful experience in every way.A sit down meal in tables arranged in the auditorium below the stage followed by a 2 hour traditional dance performance. All spellinding. A testament to fine Cambodian hospitality. The dance techniques were breathtaking. I wouldn’t have missed this for anything.Written 8 September 2024
- 185anjp0 contributionsOnly worth it if you really want to see dancingI feel 50/50 about this excursion. The dancing was really great and entertaining, but that is about all we liked. We got there about 30 minutes prior to the show starting and were instructed to go ahead and eat. The buffet was plentiful, but all of it was cold and quality was mediocre. The way they have it set up (only one side) caused lots of rude people to just cut in front of you to get to the dish they wanted. We also had to bus our own dishes. It was also hot as they dont have central a/c but overhead fans (which were off) and portable a/c throughout. We were farthest from the unit and were sweating. We decided to leave a little early and had to wait 10 additional minutes to pay for our drinks.Written 19 August 2024

This 4-day trip was seriously awesome! We saw all big temples, watched the sunrise at Angkor Wat (mind-blowing!), and went off the beaten path to cool spots like Koh Ker and Beng Mealea. Kulen Mountain had this magical vibe with water flowing over ancient carvings. Loved every bit of it—great guide, epic views, and peaceful temples. Totally worth it!
