3-Day Majestic Angkor Wat, Siem Reap and Tonle Sap Lake Tour
From US$ 119.00
Overview
Immerse yourself in ancient history and Cambodian culture on a private, 3-day tour of Angkor Archeological Park and Tonle Sap Lake. With two full days to explore the Angkor temples, you can see top destinations, then leave crowds behind at exquisite temples set outside the main site. After your time in Angkor, cruise Tonle Sap Lake to spot remarkable birds and see a traditional fishing village on stilts.
What to Expect
Day 01: Siem Reap – Angkor Wat full day tour
Pick up at 8 am from your hotel then drive the Angkor National Park. Start with Angkor Thom, the fortified city of Angkor Thom covers an area of 10 square km. Enter by the monumental South Gate (over a causeway lined on either side by statues of demons and gods, each carrying a giant Naga) to visit Bayon Temple and continue to the Terrace of the Elephants, and then we continue to visit Ta Phrom - it has been controversially left to the destructive power of the jungle by French archaeologists to demonstrate the awesome power of nature.
In the afternoon we continue to the World Heritage Site of Angkor Wat – is the largest and most impressive of all the temples and also the 7th wonder of the world. Then return to your hotel after tour.
Day 02: Siem Reap – Banteay Srei – Banteay Samre
Pick up at 8 am and then visit to Banteay Srei is considered to be the jewel of classical Khmer art. This temple is often a favorite with visitors.
In the afternoon we visit to Banteay Samre, Pre Rup is a temple at Angkor, Cambodia, built as the state temple of Khmer king Rajendravarman and dedicated in 961. It is a temple mountain of combined brick, laterite and sandstone construction. East Mebon, Ta Som, Neak Pean and Preah Khan. Pre Rup is a temple-mountain symbolising the Mount Meru, close in style to the East Mebon but higher and artistically superior than its predecessor. Return to your hotel after tour.
Day 03: Siem Reap – Floating Village of Kampong Pluk – Old Market
Pickup at 8:30 am and visit to the fishermen’s village of Kompong Phluk on Tonle Sap Lake. During the dry season (February to August), the village can be reached by car or motorbike but from Sep, we take a boat ride to Kompong Phluk where visit the village with its houses on stilts, the pagoda and see the activities of the villagers before taking a traditional boat will take us on the big Tonle Sap Lake.
Lunch in the local restaurant on own account
Afternoon, visit Artisan School and drop at Old Market free for shopping before taking you back to your hotel. Tour ends!
