We had an unforgettable family day at Aquaventure, and the experience was truly elevated thanks to the exceptional care and attentiveness of Dorcas, who goes by "Doudou." We had rented a “Splashers” cabana to enjoy a quiet space with our two children, aged 4 and 7, and it turned out to be the best decision of our entire trip.
From the moment we arrived, Doudou greeted us with a warm smile and an attentiveness that put us instantly at ease. She quickly understood our children’s needs, helping us settle in with incredible discretion and efficiency, never once intruding on our family time. Every step of the way, Doudou was attentive and responsive, almost anticipating our needs as if she could read our minds.
Doudou even took time to connect with the kids, gently and kindly, winning them over within minutes! Although our children don’t speak English, she managed to communicate with them beautifully, using gestures, expressions, and an intuitive understanding that kept them completely comfortable and happy. Between little breaks, she checked to make sure everyone had enough water and that the children were comfortably settled, always with a warm smile and genuine empathy, which made the atmosphere even more pleasant.
What struck us most was her attention to detail and memory. Four days after that initial day, we happened to cross paths with Doudou in the park, and she immediately recognized us among the crowd, warmly greeting each one of us. She asked our kids about the rest of their day at Aquaventure and even remembered little anecdotes we had shared in the cabana, leaving a lasting impression on us all.
This kind of service – attentive, human, and sincere – is rare and precious. Doudou turned our day into something extraordinary, and we can’t recommend Aquaventure enough without highlighting the luck of having met her. Thank you to her and the whole team for this magical day!
And what can we say about Aquaventure by Night? We were lucky enough to experience this on a Saturday evening, and it remains one of our best memories. From 6:30 pm, the park emptied out, and every attraction was accessible with no wait times – a dream come true! Under a starry sky and an electric atmosphere, a DJ set the perfect vibe, with music resonating throughout the park, turning it into a true waterpark party. The atmosphere was magical, with slides lit up under the night lights. If you get the chance, don’t miss it: Aquaventure by Night is a fully immersive experience that’s worth every moment!

my son is a thrill seeker and so his dad gets dragged on the rides with him. Im more for the quite life. This is not a cheap day out. We purchased tickets in the UK before we went from get my guide (cheapest we found and we discovered that this was £50 cheaper than if we had bought them on the day). I also emailed the park before we left the UK to secure 2 skip the line passes for my son and husband as it does say that these can sell out. These were well worth the value, especially in the morning as they managed 6 rides in 90 minutes which isn't and going as i heard others saying they had waited in the queue a long time and some queues where saying 60 mins queuing, The park is like amaze. If you don't see where someone comes out the ride you can loose them for hours. Take your own water shoes, my son was asked to take his off, not sure why but he wasn't bothered. There are separate male and female changing areas and a family changing area (with 3 cubicles....) The wristband is like a watch that you tap at the entrance to a ride. you are not allowed to take your own food or drink, they do check everyones bags, however we did see some people with drinks bottles in their bags and these appeared to be fine. Drinks dont really cost more than a UK theme park but food wise, we had a 'mcdonalds style' lunch, 2 kids cheeseburger meals and a couple of chicken legs with fries and was over £40 - extortiante but if you want to eat you have no choice. I am pleased we went for the experience really and if you are staying at the atlantis, check if entry is included in your stay as there were prices for hotel guests so some packages don't include.
Altogether with tickets, 2 fast passes and lunch this day cost us just over £500 .(tickets £255.48, fast passes £215.10, food £45.70). Pleased I went. Yes, would i go again, not sure but only due to the cost, otherwise i probably would.

Unreal experience with the cabana service. 100% worth the money. Private butler called Reshma, refreshing water/towels/ice etc all through the day. Nothing is too much hassle! Also highly recommend the fast track option, a bit pricey; but unlimited times to go on 18 rides in rapid time. The queues were 60 mins for most slides without the fast track.

Dubai’s motto is: “The more people come, the more money we earn”. It results in crowded ameneties and facilities. For me it seems, they just have very few professional workforce and they just dont care if the site is overcrowded, no limits
Booking tickets: i booked on their website, paid it online but it glitched and i did not get the QR codes in email…. Called them and they told me the cashier would knoe about it and would issue a ticket for me (they asked for card number, etc) Went to the park, luckily found a guy George, who helped to be served by a cashier and did not have to wait half an hour to get my tickets (online tickets would have meant to let you in without queueing). At the cashier we were told that system is so slow and they have to find booking by hand and they have to check if paid…. Found, printed, at next stop, computer to validate wristbands was slow again…
Slides: 1 hour waiting (except for lazy river). We decided to buy fastpass for kids, as fastpass holders were just keep coming, therefore normal ticket holders just did not manage to use the slide. Went to guest service, there was 5 more to sell but it turned out, that i cannot pay with my wristband, so i had to go back to the locker. You can surely guess: no more fastlance by the time i got my phone…
They opened some more tickets at 4 pm and i could buy some finally (park closes at 6 pm) so kids could finally go on slides.
Security: there is a high chance that you lose your kid in lazy river (so crowded, and it could happen that she is laned to the other waterlift than yours…) we were lucky to find her but that was beacuse we agreed to meet at entrance in such case.
When leaving the park, you can enter the aquarium, which is nice but you just suffer hearing loss in 30 minutes as it is in a cave style place and crowded people’s voice is amplified so much by walls….
To sum it up: OVERCROWDED as all famous attractions in Dubai, better to go back to the beach and sit there.
1600 AED is the normal ticket for 4, another 2200 AED is the fast pass, you cant make without that…. But fastpass is just not always available….
There should be a limit for entering the park… surging crowd everywhere….

Went here on a monday at the end of October, I have never felt more ripped off in my life.
The cost for 4 tickets (including a 6 year old who is over 1.2m tall so is classed as an adult and charged accordingly) was approx £300.
The cost for lunch for a 9 piece of chicken meal from one of the food kiosks near the changing rooms was over £60, yes you read that right. And the chicken was just cheap frozen chicken pieces poured straight into the deep fat frier, not good quality at all. The queues took 15-20 mins to order your food too and then the same again for it to actually be made, and then they got people's orders wrong. I heard a number of people talking about what a ripoff the place was and I completely agree.
So what did we get for our £300? Well, we managed to get on 4 of the larger rides but after hour long queues for all of them we gave up on trying any more. People will say buy an express pass but not everyone wants to pay in excess of £500 for a waterpark and there were also queues at the express lines too (albeit a little shorter, but not much) so that wouldn't have been worth it.
The screens that display the waiting times were consistently wrong and always massively underestimated the waiting times, for example the queue for the leap of faith was supposed to be 40 mins but it took 90 mins.
We had a much better time in the hotel swimming pool and would never ever go to a waterpark in dubai again

Value for money extremely disappointing. Ticket prices are already extremely high for a water park. Inside, you are virtually trapped and surrounded by extremely excessive prices for food and drink (water cones are free, but there are 2 stars). We were there in March and the water of the slides and the river was unfortunately much too cold. This had nothing to do with cooling down - you were shaking in the tire on the river, which is much in the shade. The facility is nice and we hardly had to wait at the slides (thanks to off-season). In high season I don't want to experience it when you pay 75€ per person for 5 times sliding and everything around it is further rip-off.

Firstly, the positives: this waterpark is a very impressive engineering feat with some incredible runs which are innovatively and creatively designed. The place is also beautifully laid out and immaculate in terms of cleanliness. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. My daughter skinned her knee and foot and they were very kind and caring in patching her up.
Now the downsides: for the eye-watering (no pun intended) admission price - over £300 for a family of four - I didn't feel it was great value for money. Lockers and towels and virtually everything else you might need incur and extra charge and, surprise, surprise, it ain't cheap. A small locker, for example, will set you back around £14. Food and beverages are also over-priced. My main bug bear had to be the queues for many of the rides which were often more than 30 mins. While the runs were great fun when you eventually got on them, I was left with the feeling that the Aqua Adventure people are far more interested in maximising profits than delivering a great customer experience.

The water park is fantastic. We have been to similar parks in US, Germany, and Switzerland, and in my opinion this one is the best. I recommend getting there early to avoid the lines. The lines in the afternoons for popular rides could be over one hour long. The food selection on the island is quite bad and ridiculously overpriced, so that I recommend returning to Dubai for dinner. Aquarium was quite disappointing - not worth a visit.

The park was really big lots of slides and water areas for all ages.
Pros:
The queues for the slides were relatively quick
Lots of different slides
Suitable for all ages
Drinks and food reasonably priced
Other things to do such as the mall area and aquarium
Family changing facilities
Cons:
Food outlets seem to run out of food by early afternoon so if you want something specific get in early.
Lockers were all taken (large ones).
I was told there was no cabanas or private seating and therefore I should expect not to find any in the free seating areas which really worried me but the reality was there was ample loungers all round the water park and I wish I had looked further than sitting down on the first area I found a lounger but this is my fault and not Atlantis - just something to bare in mind.
Taxi rank queue was ridiculous and that was with us leaving early - we opted for the private company who approached us and the price was probably double what at red or blue roof would have been but desperate times
On the whole we loved it and would absolutely recommend

The Aquaventure Waterpark is simply sensational. Period.
The slides, whether they are tire slides or people slides, are great and are still incredibly fun for adults. In my opinion, the express additional ticket is essential if you like to slide a lot. In the morning you could still do without it, from around 11.30 it gets busier and then you are more than grateful for the much shorter queues, while others sometimes have to wait 30 minutes (and more if you can believe other reviews) to go on a slide, we waited a maximum of 3-5 minutes here and there, but then it was a long wait, most of the time we went straight to the slides. Even if that's another €50 more per person, you're already spending a lot anyway, so it doesn't make a dramatic difference and is really much more fun and with the kids much less frustration in the queue. I almost walked my feet sore and climbed more meters on the slide towers than on a mountain hike - it's a huge playground.
The anti-slip socks (of course you can buy them, €25 per pair) are highly recommended, as the floor gets really hot in the sun.
We had a great day and the visit to the Lost Chambers Aquarium was also great, really beautifully done and the huge main tank with sharks, rays and much more is spectacular.
Even though it's not cheap overall, it was worth the expense, you don't do it every day.

Est ce qu’il faut prévoir des serviettes de plage où sont elles fournies ?

Si vous allez en zone privée avec transat (de mémoire 100 aed par personne à payer en supplément) les serviettes sont comprises sinon non. Par contre, on vous donne des chaussons pour marcher. Et pour le casier c'est 50 aed en supplément.

I’ve read that ‘normal swimwear’ needs to be worn for the slides/rides at the waterpark. Can someone define what that is? I will not be wearing speedos. Are Hawaiian shorts ok? Or basketball shorts!

I’m not sure what’s “normal swimwear” to be worn. There are some fast rides, you might end up loosing your costume perhaps? I didn’t think there was any “cover up “ issues as some ladies we’re wearing almost nothing but that will hurt on the fast slides. Other than that I was comfortable wearing bikini. Again, if you are a person cover up too much , that might get stuck on the slides as well. Hope this explanation helps.
