Driving in Dubai’s dunes is a no-no for anyone but experienced desert drivers, limiting your options for exploring the sands by yourself. This tour lets you experience some of the emirate’s highest red dunes, with a professional driver at the wheel. Plus, your dune drive is followed by a full activity program of camel riding, sandboarding, dinner, and live entertainment to give you the full, undiluted desert experience.
What to Expect
Begin with pickup from your Dubai hotel and sit back in your shared 4-wheel drive vehicle as you travel to the Al Lahbab region of high red dunes.

Go off road for a high-speed drive up and down the slopes, feeling your 4WD slip and slide down the soft, shifting sands. Then, take photos of the sunset before your driver whisks you to a Bedouin-inspired campsite.

Set off on a camel ride, try your skill at sandboarding, and take your pick from the cultural and sports activities on offer. Choose to puff a shisha (water pipe), get a henna tattoo, and dress in Arabian robes for souvenir photos. And, if you wish, let rip across the sands aboard a quad bike (additional cost).

Afterward, watch belly dance and whirling dervish (tanoura) shows, and dig into a barbecue buffet dinner before your experience concludes with a Dubai hotel drop-off.

Ripping you off with unavailable tour

They let me book Red Dunes Safari Tour, but l, on the day of the tour took me to a regular safari which is half of the price. Terrible and unacceptable.

Not worth the money. There are other companies that provide better service.

There camal rides last less than a minute. Food is just below OK. Performance is OK. Everything else there is pretty bland. Don't bother getting VIP, we did and its pretty useless lol. You get a room with AC with VIP, but that means you'll...More

Great trip. An absolute must. Don’t eat too much before go as the dips and turns keep coming. Our driver obviously loved his job because his driving was nuts!!!!!!
