Really excellent tour. Marco brought the history of this magnificent walled city to life and shared his own family’s experience of life in Dubrovnik and the more recent civil war. Highly recommend - one of the best historic tours we’ve done anywhere.

We had Marco as our tour guide for the walls and he was so knowledgeable. He is a resident of the small town within the walls and it was fascinating to hear his stories and learn about the history of Croatia, particularly through the war. This ended up being one of the best things we did on our trip to Croatia and highly recommend Marco!

We thoroughly enjoyed the 2 hour walking tour of the city walls of Dubrovnik with our guide, Bruno. Bruno was a very pleasant young man with an excellent knowledge of the Old Town and its history. We highly recommend this tour!

We were lucky enough to have Marko as our guide and even more fortunate that we had him all to ourselves! The two hours passed extremely quickly. This tour was very informative about the history of the walls and Dubrovnik itself, without being too much like a lesson in a school history class! Just the right balance! Best to do the morning tour as it was already hot at 9am!

Excellent small group tour of Dubrovnik old town city walls today with local born Dubrovnik guide Mihaela- company Dubrovnik Local Guides. Definitely recommend doing with a local guide. She was super knowledgeable, well paced and we learnt a lot about recent events and historical ones. Not to be missed. The views are amazing of the entire old town and port. Thanks Mihaela 👍😃😃

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Marko. We were fortunate enough to just be one couple on the tour. He was interesting and so knowledgeable and engaging. His local insights and historical facts were fun and illuminating. The final quiz was the climax to a wonderful morning in Dubrovnik (particularly as we drew). Our tour guide Marko was incredible. As a local resident and history expert, he gave us a thorough introduction to the history of Dubrovnik (aka Ragusa) as well as insight on what it’s like to live there nowadays. It was the perfect way to start our vacation and we have been able to appreciate the city much more since learning about its history. This is a must do in Dubrovnik!

Guide was very friendly and well informed. We loved the light hearted quiz at the end of the tour. We learnt so much history during the tour and the guide was really interesting. The views were spectacular and there were so many photo opportunities. I can’t recommend this tour enough as it was such good vale for money. The small number of people on the tour made it extra special.

We were arriving in Dubrovnik on the Viking Sky and I wanted a smaller group tour of the Dubrovnik Wall. The communication was excellent throughout and changes (one couple dropped out and another joined us 2 days before the tour) were seamless. As for the tour itself, it was outstanding and at a cost that was $30 per person cheaper than what Viking was charging (that includes paying separately for the tour and the ticket for the wall). Our guide Marko was outstanding and volunteered to meet us at the dock and take the bus with us to the tour's starting point at the Pile Gate. We got on the wall when it opened, beating all the bigger groups and we (3 couples) and Marko had the wall to ourselves. He grew up in and still lives in Dubrovnik and made the tour personal as well as very informative. There was plenty of time for questions and pictures and he even took a picture of us on top of one of the towers with a Dubrovnik flag he brought along. The tour lasted about 2 1/2 hours. The best tours are the ones where you feel like it is being given by a friend or relative who lives there. That was this tour and our friends who were with us thought I was a travel guru for finding and booking it. If you are visiting Dubrovnik and want a tour of the walls booking this is a no brainer.

This was our third tour with Marko and once again we loved it. First two tours we did as a couple and now we came back as a family. Marko kept our children's (6 and 10) focus for 2 hours, which is not easy 😮😃 Thank you!!!

Marko was an incredible guide, very knowledgeable about the history of Dubrovnik and it was great to hear it from a local that was born and raised in the area. His personal stories and flavor made all the difference. Very engaging and professional. Highly recommend!

This tour is the best i could pay for, very interesting stories from the city, great attention from the local guide Marko (he knows a lot of information of Dubrovnik). Got another perspective from the city after the tour, definitely would recommend this.
