About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Kallie R0 contributionsQuick day trip to knock out 2 countries - eat in Bosnia!Excellent trip with Josip! We combined our tour with 3 others, and were pleasantly surprised to see the familiar faces of other Americans we’d run into the day before. My 8-year-old loved the tour, as did we. Kotor was the most surprising of our trip. If you’re hungry, eat in Bosnia. The food is the cheapest and best. Specifically, the cevapi. We throroughly enjoyed our trip, learning about the history, all of the border crossings and knowledge from Josip. It was great! I wish we’d booked two days of tours with him.Written 1 December 2024
- K7738FNmarianam0 contributionsDubrovnik Day Tours with MihoOur tour with Miho was absolutely wonderful and truly made our day better! Not only did he provide detailed insights into the history of the countries we visited, but he also shared stories from his own life, which created a real connection between us. Miho was incredibly kind and friendly, always attentive to our needs and questions. His passion for the region’s history and culture was evident, and it added so much depth to the experience. We couldn’t have a better guide, and we’re so grateful for the memories he helped create. Highly recommend!Written 6 November 2024
- 301averieg0 contributionsAmazing Day with MihoAbsolutely amazing trip with Miho. We were able to see so many cool and interesting sights with an awesome tour guide who knew so much about the local areas, crafting an unforgettable experience. Would absolutely take this tour again and would definitely recommend the trip!Written 31 October 2024
- carollQ1809GX0 contributions“Exceptional Private Tour Experience: Engaging Guide, Flexible Itinerary, and Local Insights”The success of any private tour rests on the shoulders of the guide and driver. Miho was everything you could hope for. Patient, funny, full of stories, helpful recommendations, and even a few secret family recipes. At first half day tour to Ston for oysters and wine tasting was so good, we immediately signed up for a full day exploring Bosnia in Montenegro. Being dropped off at the airport was a bonus too. We never felt pressure to get things done, but we still achieved a lot. He was even able to introduce us to local guides who brought their home towns to life with their stories and good humour. Thank you for making this a unique experienceWritten 30 October 2024
- jennifercE5318NQ0 contributionsWe laughed and we learned! What a wonderful tour! Our guide, Miho, had us laughing from the minute he picked us up at our hotel! He is a wealth of knowledge and so interesting to listen to. We really felt like we learned so much about Croatia and its people, food, and wine. The views and sights on this tour are beautiful, even on an overcast day. We loved the selection of stops as well — such a great variety! Each place was so memorable in its own way. This tour was the last day of our trip and really capped it off perfectly. Thank you so much to Miho for a fantastic, fun day!Written 30 October 2024
- 710zij0 contributionsBrilliant tour...the guide makes it ..ask for IvanIvan took us for a great tour, started at 7am and finished about 6pm. He was absolutely brilliant in terms of balance of history, privacy of time alone and flexibility. Great consideration for our interests as in the style we wanted. I recommend him highly if your to do this tour.Written 29 October 2024
- LeeGridley780 contributions3 Countries 3 wineries 1 day tour - absolutely unbelievable! We booked the 3 countries, 3 wineries tours from Dubrovnik. We were picked up by Miho on time and taken to our first stop at a 15ct monastery in Trebinje, Bosnia. The monastery and grounds weee beautiful and the wine was great. Our host really explained the ethos of the area and production of the wines. Best we travelled onto Kotor, Montenegro via a great vista for photographs of the bay. Savina Winery was excellent, with great local produce and wines. Again our host was very knowledgeable of the wines. Finally we travelled back into Croatia to the Dubravački Podrumi winery for some fantastic wines and local meats, cheeses, breads and olive oil. We were hosted by the wine maker, who really helped us understand the processes the use and the grapes contained in each wine. Miho our tour guide was excellent, really giving us an understanding of this beautiful region. We would 100% recommend and do this trip again. It was fantastic! živjeli!!Written 26 October 2024

- 278florad0 contributions10/10 Highly RecommendedWe initially booked the Peljesac and Ston Private Wine Tour with Tastings from Dubrovnik and had Miho (Budman) as our tour guide, he was so great that we ended up booking the Bosnia Food and Wine Tour for the next day! Miho is one of the most impressive guides I've ever met, he is very friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and professional. He gave us lots of historical and cultural information and was more than happy to answer questions and gave us great recommendations. We had fantastic two days! Highly recommended!Written 19 October 2024
- 104jefferys0 contributionsDay Trip From Dubrovnik to Montenegro and BosniaWe very quickly discovered that this entire day was going to be a "make or break" simply based upon our accompanying guide, driver, and now dear friend. Ivan very simply was the experience and made the entire trip one of the most memorable of our time in Croatia, Montenegro, and Bosnia. To begin the day, even evening before, the communication and arrangements were solid. Ivan quickly demonstrated flexibility and was willing to address his schedule to ours, and we desired to start early, very early. Ivan was immediately gracious and welcoming upon pick up at our hotel, and just as quickly put us at ease with meaningful conversation, thoughts, and suggestions. We had read up on the tour "path", but Ivan suggested his thoughts on alternatives that he felt from his experience would be more beneficial for our enjoyment and take advantage of the sites listed in the description. We placed our hands in his and said "let's go for it" and followed his direction. We could not have been more pleased. Out of the gate, Ivan suggested doing the tour in reverse order. Beginning with Montenegro in the morning. Take advantage of the morning lighter tourist traffic to "Our Lady of the Rocks". He was spot on and we thank him. Before entering into the Bay area of Kotor, Ivan stopped at this cliff side cafe. Our initial thought was quick pics and move along. We walked about briefly and Ivan encouraged us to enjoy a beverage and appetizer and relax in the view of the rising sun over the bay. OMG! We were so thankful for the encouragement and suggestion. We enjoyed a romantic glass of wine, beautiful views of the bay, Our Lady of the Rocks, and mountain side as the sun rose glistening across the bay. What a start and we were all smiles. We chatted and shared stories with Ivan all day and found him to be extremely knowledgeable across many more facets of life and way more than "just a tour guide for the day". Again, his sharing, knowledge and open approach were so refreshing and so welcomed, it was the dessert and the venues we saw the cherry on top. We hopped back in the car and just kept thanking him for the suggestion and pic opportunities. We made our way around the bay and to his friends that gave us a lift over to walk and visit "Our Lady of the Rocks". The beauty of the trip was we felt it was our schedule, our day, our leisure, and not stuck to a timed itinerary and we got in what we wanted in the manner we desired. After our leisure tour of the "The Lady", we returned and walked the area before rejoining Ivan. Needless to say, experiencing such venues are that much more memorable when you share them with someone special, as we walked hand in hand, we remarked to each other how fortune this day is taking shape with Ivan as our host. We came around the bay to Kotor where Ivan dropped us off, parked briefly and gave us a complete suggested walking tour for the city, specific churches, the wall, and how to return in a circle without doubling back. Needless to say we took his advice completely. Along our walk, found this cozy little jazz cafe, warm music, smaller courtyard setting, impeccable service, and had another local glass offering and just enjoyed the ambience and our own conversation. Now Ivan would have certainly joined us, but certain aspects of tour guides, locations, certifications, and such; limit when and where he may do so and the manner. He thoroughly prepped us and explained and time flew and we headed back to meet Ivan and continue on around the bay. Pulling over for another beautiful vista picture that he took for us. Needless to say these pics have now been popping up in our memories ever since on our phones and oh are they ever warm and loving memories, and we immediately think of Ivan for such a special day. We believe Ivan knows "everybody"! His friendly nature and demeanor shines and at all the border crossings across the trip, they were simply seamless and he shared smiles and laughs with all the agents. Even while in Bosnia, we came across an unexpected police inspection point, Ivan was cool, calm, and collected; and without incident we were on our way heading to Trebinje. Upon our arrival, we pulled into this quaint and warm little village pub completely rustic in its setting and the service was as friendly as one could imagine. The meal was HUGE and delicious! It was incredible and we were amazed at the quantity and value received for the price. We were stuffed for the final city tour and then later drive back to our hotel, for what had been a complete and fulfilling day and we deemed the experience worth every penny. Again, all the value we received we feel was because of Ivan. God Bless him, we are forever grateful for his time, and remain in contact via WhatsApp wishing him and his soon to be new bride our best. We thanked Ivan immensely before he departed, and consider him our good friend. This tour and his engagement was most definitely one of the highlights of our Trip. - Sjlear10 contributionsBrilliant day outWhat a fabulous day! Our tour guide Ivan was extremely knowledgeable about historical facts regarding everywhere and everything we did. The views are stunning and we stopped in a couple of recommended restaurants, which were excellent also. A thoroughly enjoyable day with good company to boot. Highly recommendedWritten 14 October 2024
- SMPANDA1030 contributionsWaste of moneyWe booked the tour from Doria Ltd and the driver who took us on the tour was from another company. He didn't know our itinerary and was not very happy to take us to places as per the itinerary in our booking. We didn't get any guidance to visit Kotor Old City. We were told to collect the map and go on our own. We missed some spots as the road was flooded, which is of course no one's fault.Written 12 October 2024
- ivanpH2509UF0 contributionsFantastic tour!!!Kristina was a fantastic, funny guide and driver! Super friendly and easygoing, she made the trip fun and stress-free. She knew all the best spots for pictures and shared a lot of history about the places along the way. Couldn’t have asked for a better person to show us around!Written 9 October 2024
- rondap9840 contributionsGreat experienceIt was a really worthwhile tour snd I only wish we would have had a bit more history. Josip was a kind host and took us to some fantastic spots.Written 7 October 2024
- gordgummer0 contributions3 Country 3 Wineries Full Day Tour was fantastic way to spend a day.My wife and I took the 3 Country, 3 Wineries full day tour out of Dubrovnik through Doria Ltd (Dubrovnik Tours). Wineries included Tvrdoš Monastery, near Trebinje in Bosnia, Savina Winery, overlooking the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro, and the Dubrovacki Podrumi Winery in Konvale, Croatia. Each winery were unique and fantastic in their own rights. The wines we tasted were spectacular. Our guide for the day (Miho) was the best on our month long trip. He was personal, polite, experienced, knowledgeable, humorous, helpful, and well spoken. He was a very professional driver on top. We highly recommend him as a guide. Miho even provided us with his favourite Croatian dinner recipe and stopped so we can get the proper spices. Well done Miho, a special day for us.Written 4 October 2024

Stjepan was a great guide. As a local, he had lots of interesting stories to tell and took us on the lesser used tourist trails whilst still making sure we saw all the big sights. The views from the viewpoint were fabulous.

Riding this attractive cable car, according to many, belongs to the top 5 things you must do in Dubrovnik. From 405 m above sea level, there is a free view of Dubrovnik's old town and the island of Lokrum. Fascinating!

Trip was well organised and we went at a good pace. Stefan was very knowledgeable of the area and the history. The views and stops were timed well and the Old Town City wall was fun.

We arrived in Doverbanik with our dream ship and descended near the walls of the Old City and there we started our hiking tour around the walls. The route is really challenging, but the scenery you see around is a great value for the effort. We really enjoyed the spectacular views and the fine food as well as the delicious ice creams. There is so much to see in the Old City. We spent 5 hours there. You can also take a guided tour after that in another area.
