A great way to fill that 'in transit' time.
Pierre organised it, Daniel was the driver and guide, and I thoroughly enjoyed my few hours with the Panama Travel Corp. I asked to see the canal, and then just a general tour and view of Panama City, and that is exactly what I got. The canal was as expected, well worth seeing, but the old part of Panama City was a highlight too. A really great way to spend a few hours in transit. As an aside, I requested a change to the timings I had booked with Pierre, due to yet another changed airline schedule, and with no fuss, it was done. Daniel was on time, and the perfect host. Thanks guys, really enjoyed the day.

          Paradise!
Paradise is the only way to explain this treasure. Jessica greeted us the moment we got there and she ensured our time there was memorable. The cabins are very economical and comfortable. The ac and fans worked great! The food they served was really good. I’m already planning a return trip to this beauty!

          Wonderful whirlwind tour of Panama
This was a wonderful tour & a great way to pass time during a 9 hour layover. My friend & I booked the 5 hour tour. We were picked up at the airport by our guide after giving them our flight info & time. We saw the Panama Canal and Casco Viejo, Panama City’s colonial quarter. We learned about Panama's history from our awesome & very knowledgeable tour guide, Roger, who is 61, but looked like he was in his thirties! He has a passion for sharing his knowledge of the history & was an excellent guide! He had us back to the airport right on time. Awesome experience & grateful that we were able to do this! Thank-you!

More to Panama City than the Canal
I had expected that the highlight of the tour would be exploring the Canal and it was great. Our tour guide Roger also took us on a tour of the old town part of Panama City. He was very knowledgeable and proud of his city. That came through and made the tour wonderful.

          3 hours Tour
My husband and I had a 6 hour layover in Panama so we decide that we would go see the Panama Canal, We didn't want to plan the logistics so we booked the 3 hours tour with Panama Canal Corp. We were picked up from the airport ontime and we got to the Canal on time to see two ships passing through, which was the highlight of our tour. Or tour guide was very knowledgeable and he even took us to take picture at the big Panama sign. Thank you Panama Travel Corp for the amazing experience.

          HORRIBLE!!!!!
We have confirmation of our trip to start at the Amador Causeway by 7:00 am. Were were there by 6:50 am and the boat had already left. This was the one thing my husband, who was on business all week, wanted to do. When we requested a refund of our $570.00 fare for 3, we were told no. In addition, we spent over $55 round trip to get to Amador Causeway. DO NOT BOOK THIS THIS TOUR THROUGH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          Tour was a no show
We showed up according to the directions and were unable to find the tour. All the workers at the Port were friendly and tried to help us but they said the directions were terrible. The phone number listed wasn't working and we googled the travel company and those numbers were not working as well. The only positive is our refund was completely processed but we wasted a lot of time and energy arriving at the Port so early

          Wildlife trip and kayaking
We had a wonderful day on Lake Gatun yesterday and saw lots of wildlife. Sloths, iguanas, birds, several types of monkeys and tamarin. Sebastian our guide couldn’t have been better. We also saw ships going through the Panama Canal. We had lunch on a houseboat in the river and then kayaked to a waterfall and swim. Our pick up from the hotel was prompt with a good driver who spoke good English and explained some historical facts to me.

Great way to experience the far reaches of Lake Gatun
Booked this trip for the kayaking as most require either 2 or 4 participants. I was picked up promptly and dropped off with a group at Gamboa, where we boarded covered boats for ride to Lake Gatun. Enroute down the Chagres River to where it meets the Panama Canal, we were right along side of several HUGE barges, luxury liners, cruise ships etc. for the ride to Monkey Island. Spent (wasted?) 1.5 hours at different spots trying to coax monkeys down to the boats for food and photo ops - there were some other boats there doing the same thing so monkeys weren't starving :) Guide tried to point out Isla Barro Colorado, an island on the lake protected by the Smithsonian Institute because of it's unique soil, animal, and vegetation as the only preserved area combining Atlantic and Pacific species - everything else is blocked off by the lock system within the canal. Guide had limited specifics on local animals, birds, ecosystems. Went down a narrow canal to the Floating Lodge. This is a wooden structure floating on the edge of the wilderness. There are primitive bathrooms, kayaks, SUPs, and four floors of sitting areas with hammocks, tables, and porch swings. Generous lunch was served (on a banana leaf and plate) which consisted of chicken, beef, rice, salad, mashed sweet potato, and yucca. Beer is $2. We were paired with kayak partners - or could go solo - for a short paddle down a narrow passage to reach a shore. We left boats and gear for a stony, muddy walk though the creek bed (water shoes would be helpful, not flip flops) to a beautiful, small waterfall. It was easy enough for small children (with life vests on) to climb up the rocks and over to jump off the waterfall into the deep pool below. Beautiful and very refreshing in the cold water! After the short paddle back to the Floating Lodge we had time to swim out to the lily pad floating areas, free-dive off the decks of the lodge, or just chill in the porch swings and hammocks. Boat ride back to Gamboa was quick and we were all delivered at our hotels safely, with smiles, sunburns, and full bellies! There were several "guides" involved with the different stages and aspects of this tour so not sure how the tips are split.

          Experience the Locks
This trip was just enough. The partial transit put us on the water with the rising water levels of the locks, a relatively short period of time moving from one to the other. The boat was of a good size with good views of the happenings. Our guide JC was knowledgeable and friendly as were the rest of the crew. We were served breakfast and lunch while aboard ship. My one complaint is that finding the point of departure was challenging. I had given myself 30 minutes to be lost and just made it to the boat prior to launch. This 5 hour activity is time well spent.

          Return Visit to Panama Canal
Traveled to Panama for family reunion; and decided to take the partial transit of Panama Canal to accompany relatives who were visiting for the first time. A great time was had by all. Amazing to see how the project to widened the canal has made a difference as larger vessels are now able to transit; facilitating world wide commerce.

          Panama canal tour with panamatravelcorp.com
I had a very pleasant day on the panama canal and the surrounding jungle. Lots of wildlife and huge boats which is a nice combination. Pierre and his team are very nice and professional. Unfortunately I lost my camera during the trip. Pierre found it and personally delivered it to me in panama city. Very nice! I definitely recommend this company for panama tours.

          Great, and Informative Tour!!
I took the North-Bound Panama Canal Transit Tour, on 30 March 2019 (for my Birthday). My Guide was Gus, A Funny, and Knowlegeable Man. I enjoyed the Tour, the Gift Shop, and the Information regarding the different "things" about the Canal, and the surrounding areas (including a Famous Prison on the Canal). I must say, I missed the Canal Tour in 2018, but making it this time, on my Birthday, made the "missed time" moot. The "ship" was neither too large, or too small... but "Just Right". Plenty of Sitting, or Standing Room. And all of the passengers were (to my recollection) nice enough to allow me, and others, to get to, and occupy space, to take our own photos/videos. If nothing else, I commend Gus, and the Crew of the Ship "Pacific Queen" Panama, for a Safe and Pleasant Journey. 😊

          great experience
This tour was recommended to us by someone at our hotel. A great way to see the canal and experience the jungle. Lunch was very good. Fishing was also good. caught 5 bass.
