This is our second time to visit Panama. For our first visit, I researched taxi services and determined Amber Moon was the best. First time was so good and timely, we set up an appointment four months before our second trip. They use pleasant drivers (with roomy cars) that even describe some of the major sites. Our second trip required a last minute change of resorts, but Amber Moon easily accommodated our travel change with perfect timing! Good Job!

First, I was able to make the reservation without having to pay for the service upfront. My driver was awaiting me at the airport. The drivers were on time for pickup and drop off for every leg of my trip. I initially booked the service for a round trip but given the service received, I used them for additional trips. Additionally, I had to modify one of my pickup times and this was done seamlessly. I will be using them on subsequent trips to Panama and definitely recommends them.

Amber Moon is an extremely professional business. Our flight was delayed by five hours due to the Global Outage. We finally arrived in Panama at 1:00 a.m. Amber Moon informed us that the driver was monitoring the flight and would be there to meet the plane. We were a bit nervous due to the extensive delay. The driver was at the airport and promptly took us to our hotel in Playa Bonita. The return trip to the airport was equally as good. Our driver informed us that he was on his way and when he arrived at the hotel. The cars are clean, air conditioned and well maintained. Also, we found the cost for a party of five ($65 each way) was quite good, compared to what the hotel was charging.

The pickup was easy. The directions give by the company were clear and on point. I made it from the airport to my hotel with ease.

The driver was at the airport as expected. We forgot a passport in the van, the driver brought it to the hotel. Would use this service again.

I had to call to confirm the pick up time because the documents reflected a different pick up. After that was cleared up, our driver was early, professional, and got us to the cruise terminal with no problems. I highly recommend this company if you're looking for a private driver.

We were delighted by our Amber Moon driver! We had a special mission - my uncle worked on the Panama Canal and was buried in the Corozal American cemetery - so that was our prime destination. He quickly got us there and connected us with the staff to find his grave, and his wife's grave ... then gave us a mini tour to see the locks, went to the old Panama Canal Headquarters (Old Canal Zone) [find out why the Palm Tree are planted where they are] and then to a view point at the Bridge of The Americas ... then off to Biomuseum and Old Panama. We had limited time to accomplish this - and got back to the airport with plenty of time to spare. We gave him a big tip to thank him for taking great care of us. My tip - be sure to let Amber Moon know which flight you're on and ask them to confirm which Terminal it arrives at.

I can't say enough good things about Amber Moon Taxi. My husband and I were in Panama for a cruise. I booked 3 transfers online. They were right were they said they would be each and every time. They also stepped up and allowed us to add last minute tour when we missed our canal transit tour due to the poor communication from the other company. Marcos picked us up at the airport, waiting right where we came out with a sign. got us to our hotel and told us a little of his country on drive. Then the company owner Reanan allowed us to add a 4 hour tour the night before they were scheduled to pick us up and just transfer us to Colon for our cruise, even though they were fully booked for that day. Marcos picked us up in Colon and was again right were we told and got us back to airport, again telling us different things about the country we were driving thru. If you are going to Panama and need a tour or just transportation, you absolutely want to use Amber Moon Taxi!

We booked Amber Moon for our transfer from Tocumen Airport for our first visit to Panama City. Ours was an early arrival (0625) but with minutes of landing we had received a text message showing the driver with our name board at the airport. Unfortunately, the queue through customs and immigration was more than an hour but, this was no problem for our driver who was there waiting, when we finally exited the airport. Great service.

Driver was waiting when we arrived. Very nice, polite, punctual and safe. Driving a new car was great air conditioning! Highest recommendation!

We found Amber Moon on Trip Advisor and was able to email and get a quote in a very timely manner. We arranged for transfers both from the Panama City airport into the city and then from our city hotel to Coronado. The driver was there to greet us from our flight and at the hotel the next day. He spoke great English, was friendly and all worked well. We arranged our trip back to Panama City based on this positive experience and we would not hesitate to recommend Amber Moon to anyone and recommended them to friends arriving to Panama City in a few days!

The service was clearly described and delivered as advertised. Since the company has excellent English, it's a good choice for English-speaking guests as there will avoid misunderstandings. Renan, my driver communicated rendezvoius instructions effectively and during my transfer, enhanced my first visit to Panama by patiently answering any questions I had about his country. It costs more than a local taxi, but this service provides additional value that is worth the extra cost.

Joshua with Amber Moon was our personal driver for a day. He drove us to 2 desired locations, promptly picked us up at the agreed time, and even chose a good location for a lunch stop. Most impressive were his communication skills and ability to use a translator app on his phone when our questions were too complex. We had a wonderful day and would definitely recommend this service!
