Gerson was an outstanding guide for this tour. He was very knowledgeable about the country's history as well as the significance of the sights seen on this day. Also provided good advice for other things to do within San Salvador and the beach areas. Overall, it was a good tour to see Rutas de las Flores!

I am a world traveler and took this tour when I was in San Salvador. First of all EC tours communicated very well on WhatsApp to book this tour. Our guide was Gerson. He was very informative and interactive. He is a teacher by profession and it shows in his delivering the information. His choice of restaurant for lunch and other recommendations were very helpful. I would definitely recommend Gerson as a guide and EC Tours in El Salvador. It takes you in rural mountainous part of El Salvador away from the city.

Amazing trip - Gerson our guide was very attentive and full of answer to my many questions about politics, culture and nature. The hike itself is not super difficult so go go go. Having hiked up a few different volcanoes, this is the first one with a sulphur lake and it was beautiful.

We had a such a wonderful city tour with an excellent guide LizBeth. She sent me a WhatsApp message a day before about the tour’s schedule and what to bring, etc., so it was very good communication. She speaks perfect English and her explanation was very clear. She shared a lot of information about the history, background and people which were all great education to us. We didn’t know it was a private tour as we thought it was a group tour, so it was a good to have all her attention to us. She showed us the all key important spots and they are actually hard to find all by ourselves, so it was great that she took us there efficiently with great knowledge shared. She has a great energy with passion and positiveness. At the end, we went to a local restaurant to try the national food Pupusas. We really enjoyed our time to get to know the city of San Salvador and we highly recommend this tour with a guide LizBeth! Thank you!

We booked an 18-day private tour with EC Tours to visit El Salvador and Nicaragua. The experiences could not have been more rewarding. The agency was in charge of all our transfers, border crossings, visits and hotels. We had a van, a guide and a driver from our arrival at the airport until the last day. Our two guides (Lisbeth in El Salvador and Yesenia in Nicaragua) did a magnificent job. Very professional and knowledgeable, they made our trip a pleasure. The middle-priced hotels (***) on our trip were all well located and many of them were colonial buildings with an interior patio that made our stay more comfortable. Simple but clean rooms, all of them with air conditioning and an acceptable bathroom. We had the opportunity to totally customize our trip before starting it and in that sense Yesenia, the ECTours organizer, did a great job. We certainly recommend this agency which has provided us with great service at a reasonable price.
