    Fun/Easy Half Day Tour
This tour was done by Hector Adonis [he goes by Adonis.] Adonis says he is one of the, if not THE, youngest tour guide in El Salvador. Very nice guy. Very knowledgeable, speaks English very well. This tour was very laid back. It was just me and this couple from Canada, who were down here to surf. I have to be honest, I love that these tours are very small and intimate. They are more personalized this way, which I really like. Also, all of the tours I had in El Salvador were great…one of the few places I have been to where they DON’T drop you off at a gift shop. They just focus on their city and its rich culture. Also, the people of El Salvador are extremely friendly. This tour focuses on the history of San Salvador and takes you around to the main 3 squares in the Centro Historico. These plazas have such beautiful buildings and statues, and they are so full of people - and the best part, they are dancing and playing music. They are all just celebrating life. We were also able to tour the new library that just opened a week ago. This is NOT part of the tour but they invited us to come in and explore the building. It is a very beautiful and state-of-the-art. Thank you Adonis for taking us on a tour and making sure that all of our questions were answered and just being so friendly and knowledgeable.

    Loved the historical experience
Prior to meeting with Eduardo, I had to contact the company through the app to give them the location of my hotel. It was not available in their drop down menu. I was given two time be ready for pickup and he arrived split in the middle of them. We began at Joya de Cerén which was so cool because it shows you how the everyday people lived instead of the upper class like most other ruins. We then moved to San Andres which is a ruin that showed how the opposite of Joya de Cerén. It was nice to see and read the history of the site. No it is not the size of others in Central America but the history is there. We had lunch at La Octava Maravilla Resturante & Bar. I had the fish and it was overcooked and lacked seasoning to me, but still decent to eat. I wouldn’t recommend it. The view was spectacular for the meal though. Lastly, we visited Al Parque Natural Cerro Verde. I enjoyed the hike through the forest and the look out point prior to entering the park. Eduardo is very knowledgeable and gives great insight. His passion for the Salvadoran people is evident as he explains the locations, gives insight in current culture and can answer all your questions. The insight on plants was a bonus for me. He does drive a bit erratically (fast and moving in and out) to navigate the roads which made me uncomfortable at times. This is a tour I recommend, but would suggest the following 1. Take bug spray with you as I needed it at San Andres. Lots of mosquitos. 2. Order something other than the fish at the restaurant. 3. Make sure you contact the company about pickup time and your location since this cannot be done in the app.

    Wonderful tour
Great Trip! Alfredo and the driver were excellent and gave us a great tour commentary. When I left, I accidentally left something behind and managed to get Alfredo to drop it back at my hotel. This was much appreciated.

    Great tour and guide
Alfred was a very knowledgeable guide and great individual to be around during out tour. We went to some of the best Mayans ruins on San Salvador, and a couple of great volcanos. Would recommend it to anyone visiting El Salvador.

Great Day / Nature / Get to know the Culture
It was such a great day. Eduardo is full of knowledge, calm and friendly - I felt safe all the time while driving around. He even did an extra stop at the Lava Field because we had some time left. I learnt so many things in one day - and while you are enjoying the beautiful nature he makes sure, you‘ll have great pictures as well. Eduardo, thanks for showing me around your Country!

    Great Guide
This trip was great to see Suchitoto, and the guide, Alfredo, made it all the better. I had an issue getting cash out of the ATM, and the driver personally dropped me off at two different ATM locations to try to get cash. I ended up having to go to a different bank, and he even returned by car to ensure I was OK-hours after the tour ended. Overall, amazing experience and highly recommend to anyone considering.

    Fantastic Experience
From day one communication was fantastic. We had to change our itinerary at the last minute due to the Guatemalan political situation and the company quickly offered alternative tours. El Salvador completely surpassed our expectations and we are so glad we spent extra time here. A guide was waiting for us when we landed to take us to our hotel. He was chatty and gave us lots of recommendations for our time in San Salvador We did three tours -Succitoto, Volcanoes/ Mayan Sights and City tour. All were fantastic and gave us a real glimpse into the amazing country that is El Salvador. Both of our guides were fantastic -so knowledgable with a clear passion for the country along with flexibility to make the trip special for us. Special shout out to Eduardo who we had for two of our tours. I’m amazed by his passion and knowledge for the history, culture and environment of El Salvador. It’s difficult to say which of the days was out favourite -they all were unique and different. We didn’t really know what to expect when coming to El Salvador but loved our few days here and are already trying to work out when we can return again to see more of what it has to offer.

    Terrific out-of-San Salvador day
A very good tour and a great way to spend a survey day away from San Salvador. Eduardo was an excellent guide, focused, on-time, and always open to the interesting distracting question. Our day was stained a bit by traveling to the lookout over the volcano on a road JAM packed with traffic, but Eduardo's vibrant spirit and energy made every moment one to remember. The office was great to work with -- terrific communication, and when there was a touch of confusion they responded quickly, appropriately, and in a way that left me well-pleased. Interesting, educational, memorable.

    Fantastic and Amazing Tour!
My husband and I went to El Salvador for our anniversary. Salvadorean Tours was wonderful to work with from the moment I contacted them to organize the trip to the moment they dropped us off at the airport. They were quick to respond and adjust the itinerary based on our interests, and the actual trip was flawless. Our tour guide, Eduardo, was great. He was friendly, funny and went beyond in showing us all kinds of things about his country and culture. He talked about the history of the war and how it affected people he knew. He was one of the best tour guides we've had, and we travel a lot! El Salvador itself is just beautiful. The volcanoes, the villages, the ruins, the lakes.....and I can't even touch on how delicious the food was. The people are so kind. I never felt unsafe. El Salvador was a truly remarkable place and we can't recommend Salvadorean Tours enough for giving us a fantastic anniversary trip!

    Fantastic and Amazing Tour!
Salvadorean Tours was incredible to work with from the moment I first contacted them. Eduardo responded immediately and helped me put together an amazing itinerary. Everything, from confirmations, to any last minute questions I had, to the execution of the actual tour was flawless. Our tour guide, the other Eduardo, went above and beyond. He was so funny and engaging by the end of the tour I felt like we had just spent the week with a dear friend. He showed us the beauty of the culture and the people of El Salvador. He often added in little extra things he thought we would enjoy, like a quick stop at a nice view or a monument. We had a particular interest in the civil war, so he made sure to point out things and give an excellent overview of the conflict. El Salvador is a wonderful place and I felt that Salvadorean Tours truly gave us the experience and trip we were looking for. I cannot recommend them enough!

Had the best tour ever been on! Eduardo went to great lengths to give us so much information and history over the volcanos and colonial towns we went too! I’ve been on so many tours in different countries this was by far the #1 best experience we will for sure be requesting another tour when we’re back in El Salvador with Eduardo!

It was a fun Full day of volcano viewing with visits to quaint small towns with a little birding on the side. Birding was not on the itinerary but when I expressed an interest, my guide said he had his spotting scope in the car!

El Salvador has acquired a non-deserved bad reputation. In reality, it is a gorgeous country with decent infrastructure, friendly people and no obvious security issues for a casual visitor. This trip included amazing views of the volcano crater, a lovely walk through the Forrest in the Parque Nacional de los Volcanes and then driving through the exuberant Ruta de las Flores and visiting the picturesque villages along the way. Eduardo was a true fountain of knowledge and made the tour unforgettable. I highly recommend him.

My dad and I had a lot of fun on this trip. We got to see gorgeous sights and our tour guide was very friendly and knew all the good places to go to get wonderful pictures. The place we stopped for lunch was very good and he really made our trip to El Salvador special. We went on New Year's Eve and were worried most things would be closed, but our guide knew what would be open and allowed us to really get to know the country. I would definitely recommend this tour to people traveling to El Salvador. We also felt completely safe the whole time and did not go any places where we were at all worried.

The reservation process and confirmation was very smooth. The guide showed up right on time in the morning. The tour was a good combination of nature and history. My guide, Eduardo, was knowledgeable and fluent in English. Even better since he has lived in North America, he was able to put things in context. My favorite was a reference to mystery spot in California!

Throughout the trip I really could see and feel the guide’s love of his country, environment and people. He would take the trash, stop by and talk to locals ( he was friends with everyone!). He also gave a great overview of early expeditions, then independence and civil war. He also had a good eye for good spots for taking pictures.

The volcano hike was very pleasant. I suggest leaving earlier in the morning to be there before it gets busy. If you have time try to do the santa Anna hike separately.

My number one concern visiting El Salvador was safety. I felt safe throughout the tour. In general the safety in SL was much better than I expected. Of course you need to be careful about going out alone at night but I felt very safe in zona Rosa and other excursion and trips.

Overall I highly recommend this tour and Eduardo as the tour guide.

We were traveling as a family of three including a baby. The guides took great care of us right from picking us from the airport, taking us around the attractions and suggesting local food. They spoke excellent English, had good sense of humor, very respectful and was able to relate to what they said. We did sea turtle release tour, San Salvador city tour, volcanoes, flower route, and Antigua Guatemala. We were lucky to see live volcanic activity in Guatemala.

I strongly recommend this tour company!
