Meet for this 2-day tour at Kiev Central Railway Station (in front of KFC) a little before 8 a.m.
On this tour, spend three hours inside the Chernobyl Power Plant. Safely exploring the still functional parts of the power plant, such as the control room, hydraulic-pump system, underground control center, and visitors center with a detailed explanation of the current status and future plans of the power plant from your guide. See and touch the famous AZ5 button, which was pushed too late by the operators of Reactor 4.
During this tour, you'll also have about 10 hours to explore parts of Pripyat. Walk the streets, which are now just paths in a forest, and start to gain an understanding of what happened in this area more than 30 years prior.
Spend the night at 3-star hotel in the newly built city of Slavutych, constructed for the evacuated inhabitants of Pripyat. To get there, enjoy a train ride with the employees of the power plant who commute everyday. On the train you'll have the chance to chat with the employees.
Your tour ends with a drop-off on your second day at Kiev Central Railway Station.
