    What to Expect
Starting from your hotel, you will be picked up by our guide and driver. The first stop on our tour will be the Mogosoaia Palace, situated approx. 10 kilometres from Bucharest. The palace was built between 1698 and 1702, by Constantin Brancoveanu, in a renaissance style, combining Venetian and Ottoman elements. Also known as domain, being formed by the next buildings: the actual Palace, Gheorghe Bibescu Chapel, Ice House, St. Gheorghe’s Church and also the Mogosoaia Greenhouses.

The tour then continues with a stop at Snagov Monastery, an important medieval monument, which is located on an island on the Northern part of Lake Snagov. Among our visiting objects you will find the alleged tomb of Vlad Tepes, also known as Dracula in international literature.

It was interesting to see the Monastery and the location of at least part of Vlad the Impaler's body. The story of the man who is the source of so much history of Romania and the "legend" of Dracula. The Mogosoaia Palace is also very...More

Great tour with very knowledgeable and professional guide Daniel. Snagov monastery is quite unique in terms of ambience, location, decor and religious dedication. Both visits showcase a Romanian beauty and history. So glad we chose this tour.

It surprised me how beautiful Snagov Monastery is. It's out of the way in the country which certainly adds to it's charm. By contrast, Mogosaia Palace was pretty on the outside but rather dull inside. All the same, it makes for quite a good tour....More

Our tour guide was wonderful and shared so much history of the Palace and the Monastery. When visiting the island, the monk was delivering mass as we admired the beautifully painted church. This is a great half-day trip to see some classic Bucharest sites.
