- AliceLiddell0 contributionsJonatha was a great guide! The experience started with a trip to a local coffee shop that grows and roasts its own beans. What a treat! I love coffee, and it was great to hear the different ways beans are harvest and to sample the effect on the flavor. I took a bunch of tours in Peru, and Jonathan was a true standout. His English was excellent, and he explained everything slowly and carefully. Can't recommend enough.Written 14 November 2024

The food, beverages and company were delightful and gave us a great sense of the food culture in Lima. The bikes were a great way to cover a lot of ground and were all well maintained. Zero complaints!Written 18 October 2024

- journeywithj0 contributionsA great combo tour of things to do at nightMiguel was my guide and he basically served as a chaperone and facilitator to rendezvous with Aymen the Driver; I wish he would've been a little bit more proactive in telling me information about the area, I had to continuously ask him questions to get him to talk about things. That is why I am only giving it four stars. However, he was very nice and friendly. But.... Aymen was a delight, extremely knowledgeable, and had top-notch driving skills. He really understood how to make a guest feel welcome and not have any stress over the logistics of the tour with its many stops. I was leaving on a flight the next morning so I asked them if instead of three Pisco sours I could get a little food instead and they did accommodate.Written 28 September 2024
- N8754NGrachelb0 contributionsPerfect way to start your Lima foodie adventurePerfect half day tour! Andrés knows everything about Lima from the ever-changing food scene and local agricultural products to the history, archaeology, architecture, and economy of the metro area and beyond. The food vendors are a great mix of time-honored classics and new trending flavors. You'll also get great recommendations for what to eat and where during the rest of your stay in Lima.Written 20 September 2024
- V1881QRvaleriev0 contributionsLima ExpertLima Expert This guided walk around Lima was the real deal. Jonathan was above exceptional, competent, knowledgeable in Lima history and local lore. He was personable, sensitive to my food tastes, flexible and found the perfect experience for me. I wanted a real Lima food experience and Jonathan did not disappoint. We went through coffee shops and all around the market place where we sampled foods I had never seen or eaten. Loved every minute of it and got lots of photos. After choosing a few items to take with us to try he took me for a cooking lesson and we made the freshest tasting dishes. This was an amazing experience, so if you are looking to see and learn about Lima and the foods that are abundant here, this is it!Written 14 September 2024

I was very fortunate to be Jonathan’s guest for this four hour cultural and food sampling tour to downtown Lima. It was a fantastic experience using the Metopolitana bus system from Miraflores to downtown Lima and back. Jonathan pointed out places of interest and we journeyed to different local food eateries. It was an excellent way of trying Peruvian snacks, fruits and drink. Excellent demonstration and sampling of different Pisco drinks. Jonathan even followed up after the tour with links and pictures of things that we talked about on the tour. He molded my positive impression of Lima wishing I had more days to explore this wonderful city. Thanks for this experience!

It's a very nice tour that brings you to the important tourist sites in the center district of Lima, but also tells you a lot about the local food and street food. A good tour you won't leave hungry. Our Guide Miguel was very nice and helpful, and we now have more ideas for food to try then we can eat during our stay.

My husband and I did this tour and it was our favorite activity we did in Lima. Our guide Johnathon was personable and knowledgeable of both Lima and the foods we tried. And there was a lot of food! It was like having a friend show us around his city. After the tour he sent us information about all the food we tried since we couldn’t remember everything. I highly recommend this tour!

We had a great morning experiencing the food of Peru with Cesar. Really enjoyed the Central Market, tasting cheese, olives, and local fruits. On to China town with yummy dumplings and steamed buns. Then street food tastes before finishing with a delicious Pisco Sour. Add in the wealth of knowledge about the history of the City, we highly recommend this tour.
