        Spectacular week in Peru
I didn't have to go far before Franklin met me at baggage claim upon arrival. Since I took Spanish we spoke bilingually. Throughout the tour, I was shown major monuments and pivotal city sights. I took over five hundred pictures, so this easily a beautiful place with scenic views.

        Machu Picchu January visit
The quickly organised a last minute Machu Picchu trip and booked me for a time slot when the weather was most ideal in the wet season. The tour guide at Machu Picchu was very knowledgeable, spoke perfect English and explained the zincs architecture/engineering in detail.

        Amazing tour for solo traveler!
I booked the 7-day tour because I wanted to see all the must-see places in Peru, from Machu Picchu to Rainbow Mountain. The representative who took care of my trip, Daniel, was very communicative and helpful. From day 1 he picked me up at the airport and every day he sent me the itinerary via Whatsapp and answered all my questions. Every day I had a different tour guide and all of them were very knowledgeable about the field and the history of the area. I was often the only English speaker in the group but the tour guide facilitated me well and always made me feel welcome. I had an excellent time in Peru thanks to Kantu Peru Tour and especially thanks to Daniel who exceeded my expectations.

        Mind blowing experience. Wonderfully arranged.
This experience was amazing. From start to finish. The organization of everything was spot on. From being met at the airport and the timing of being met by our guides for the arranged tours. Our guide Marcos Anthony was full of fascinating information and took us around areas explaining the history. This was 6 hours of a great introduction to where we were. Next day we had Nora, a lovely guide taking us to the Sacred Valley and on to Ollantaytambo. Amazing sites. Here we were then transported to Augas Calientes where we were met at the train station and escorted to our hotel. Lovely accommodation provided. Our guide Edguido made contact introducing himself and making arrangements for meeting us the next day for our journey to Machupichu. Wow! His knowledge and the surrounds are a sight to behold. Our private tour guide was fantastic We really loved the personal service and dedication to making our experience magical. We took the train back to Ollantaytambo, again met and driven back to Cusco. The next day was our final day. Picked up at our hotel and bused to Maras and Moray. Our guide was once again, amazing. We saw so many amazing sites in and around Cusco and Machupichu that we need and day or two to let it all sink in. We were met promptly at our hotel and escorted back to the airport for our journey back to Lima. Our hearts filled with precious memories that will last a lifetime. Kantu tours are wonderful to deal with and we highly recommend them for making everything run so smoothly.

Memorable Peru tour arranged by KPT
Just completed a 14-day curated private family tour with KPT. Arrangements were mostly flawless, guides good to excellent, and vehicles average to good. Initial communication and itinerary discussions with Maryte were excellent! She was very patient and responsive; crafted an itinerary that suited our needs and was very helpful in making sure we prepared well for the trip. As the trip neared, we were handed off to Daniel in Customer Service, who despite language difficulties, did well overall to accommodate and address our day to day questions and needs - we did have some anxious moments at times as responses were not always timely (even though the channels we were communicating through were offered by KPT as our emergency go-to channels/numbers). Calls to the Customer Service/emergency numbers often went unanswered (curiously, had a hotel concierge call on our behalf and the call was answered right away). On the back end in Lima, as we prepared to return home, our flight was abruptly canceled and we were at risk of being stranded without a hotel. Our outreach to KPT for assistance in booking an alternate accommodation was rather disappointingly handled - we were informed that we were pretty much on our own and that the company couldn’t do much! A bit of a let down during a stressful time. Thus had to make arrangements to stay on our own in a foreign country - although KPT did arrange transfers for additional payment. On the flip side, when one of our party missed his international flight in to Lima, thereby threatening the rest of our tour, KPT quickly flexed, rearranged transfers to pick up at Cusco airport the next day and rush him to Aguas Calientes, just in time for him to join on our Machu Picchu (MP) visit! Great service in a pinch by KPT! We visited in mid-Dec, an excellent off-season time to visit. Less crowds,, excellent weather, all attractions open. Our tour took us to Lima, Paracas (superb boat tour to the islands to witness Dolphins, Sea Lions and birdlife) , Ica (great sand dunes and buggy riding and increasing at local wineries). We then moved on to Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu for a few days - gorgeous time in the Andes mountains visiting historic towns, local families, a salt mine, and the world-famous MP Inca site itself! Followed this up with a couple of days in Cusco and surroundings. Finally three nights in Puno with out-of-this-world visits to the Floating Islands and other islands in lake Titicaca. Wrapped up the tour back in Lima. What a treat - a series of bucket list visits in that amazing country. Lovely people, superb food, and exquisite sights! Our guides made our visits even more enjoyable : Edwin and driver Alfredo in Lima were like family by the time we parted; then Jenkins and driver Raul were with us throughout Sacred Valley, MP, and Cusco - again, patient, knowledgeable, friendly - Raul was superb - extremely helpful and a great driver; finally Prof. Guido in Puno - a seasoned knowledgeable professional! Learned a lot from all of them - they represented their country very well. Accommodations at all places were excellent except in Puno (5-star properties all : Villa Barrancos and Westin in Lima; Tambo del Inka (Marriott) in Urubamba/Sacred Valley, Inkaterra la Casona in Cusco (an exquisite Spanish Conquistador’s mansion, where Pamela and team at the front, Benigno/Jose and team in the restaurant area, housekeeping staff - all who took great care of us)). The Puno stay at GHL Lago Titicaca was a huge blot on an otherwise perfect set of arrangements. The hotel masquerades as a 5-star property, while one a good day it is at best three-star (dated and tired, stained carpeting, old rooms, stained bed linen…the staff however were excellent and were eager to please). Overall, despite a few communications snafus, KPT did well - would go back to them again for Peru tour arrangements. Thank you Maryte, Daniel, KPT for a memorable Peru visit!

        Exceptionally well organised tour
I love it! Kantu Peru Tours did an absolutely amazing job to bring me an unforgettable and wonderful journey in the beautiful land of Cusco 🛤️🚞 Everything was exceptionally well organised and well communicated from start to finish. Apart from receiving information on what to prepare for the trip 3 weeks before I arrived which was extremely helpful, when I landed in Cusco, I was greeted by Kantu representative at the airport to take me to my hotel. Upon arriving my hotel, I was so happy to receive my personalised tour package and the representative also went through the itinerary with me to make sure I understood the rundown of the 7 days. Throughout 7 days, I received daily WhatsApp to brief me on next day activities and when I had any questions, I always got instant replies even after office hours. All tour guides were professional and lovely. On the last day, I was met by the same representative at the hotel to send me off to the airport and received a very lovely gift from Kantu for me to remember the beautiful land of Cusco! And my biggest shoutout for the absolutely exquisite work goes to Daniel, who is the Kantu representative doing the absolutely fantastic job to arrange my tour. With all that, I was only booking 2 stars accommodation and the room was absolutely beautiful. Most importantly, throughout the tour, I felt like I was getting a 5 stars service 😊 I have no doubt to recommend this tour to anyone and I praise Kantu Peru Tours for their commitment to deliver high quality tour experience.

        Cusco, Machu Picchu tours
My husband and I truly enjoyed our 5 day private tour to Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Maras, Moray and Chinchero. The staff was well coordinated from our transportation pickup to and from the airport, to our train and bus rides. They made us very comfortable and not to worry about anything but just have fun. Our tour guides, Alejandro in Cusco and Eduardo in Machu Picchu were both excellent, knowledgeable, and love their jobs. Our driver, Rene was very nice as well. Daniel from Customer service was super nice and made as feel very important. This is the kind of service we love especially in a country that we don't know much about. We learned so much from your beautiful country. Thank you. Kudos to Kantu Peru Tours.

Truly exceptional! All inclusive no planning hassle.
Our 7-day tour in Cusco with Kantu Tours was truly exceptional! From start to finish, the organization and communication were flawless, thanks to Daniel, our amazing customer service contact. Every guide we had was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and made each experience unforgettable. The locations included in the tour were absolutely stunning, even during the rainy season—it was all so well-planned! We opted for the 4-star hotel package, and every hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were warm and welcoming, making our stays even more special. The drivers were careful, punctual, and kept us informed about pick-up times, which made everything run smoothly. I honestly cannot recommend this tour enough—it’s the perfect way to experience all the wonders of Cusco without the hassle of planning. Thank you, Kantu Tours, for an unforgettable experience. We’d recommend this to everyone and would absolutely do it again!

        This amazing company
Just finished a six day tour with Kantu and was blown away by how great this tour company was. Right from the get go in June when I initially booked the tour, I found Kantu to be highly organized and effecient. Every query was answered quickly and nothing was too much trouble . The six days spent in Cusco and Machu Picchu were amazing. Everyday brought something breath taking to see and experience and again everything was brilliantly organized. Every tour guide was enthusiastic and made sure everyone on the various tours had a great experience. A huge shout out to Daniel who every evening sent on the next day's programme and also took feedback on the activity of each day. Any query was answered professionally and quickly. So in conclusion if you want to see some of the amazing physical and cultural landscapes of part of Peru for a great price Kantu is the way to go. 10/10 A grade

I was not paid for this review. They're truly that amazing!
We recently had the pleasure of planning a trip to Peru with Kantu Tours, and we cannot emphasize enough how fantastic the service was! From the very beginning, the communication was exceptional. The team, specifically Heidi, promptly addressed all of our questions and concerns, which put us at ease. Transparency was a key highlight of our experience. The pricing was transparent from the start, with no hidden fees or surprises. It made budgeting for our trip much more straightforward and gave us confidence that we were getting great value for our money. Moreover, the level of detail they provided before our departure was impressive. They took the time to walk us through our itinerary and ensured that we were comfortable with every aspect of our journey. This kind of thoroughness gave us peace of mind, allowing us to focus on the excitement of our upcoming adventure. Raul, our driver,  truly exceeded our expectations in terms of safety and punctuality. From the moment he and Jenks (our tour guide) picked us up, we were confident that we were in good hands. They arrived right on time, which we greatly appreciated. There’s nothing worse than waiting around, but he was prompt and ready to go. As we set off, I immediately noticed their cautious driving style. They maintained a safe distance from other vehicles, observed all traffic regulations, and navigated the roads smoothly. The whole ride was not only safe but also quite comfortable. Raul was professional and courteous, ensuring we felt at ease throughout the journey. It’s clear they value their passengers’ safety above all else. We can’t recommend Jenkins, our tour guide, high enough! From the very beginning, his deep knowledge of the area and passion for the land and people shone through. He shared fascinating insights about the local culture, flora, and fauna, bringing the landscape to life in a way that truly enhanced our experience. His passion and enthusiasm in explaining various aspects of our treks made the journey not only enjoyable but also educational. What really stood out, however, was Jenk's sense of humor. He kept the mood light and fun, cracking jokes and sharing amusing stories that had us all laughing. His positive attitude was infectious, and it helped to keep our spirits high. He also demonstrated remarkable patience throughout the trek up to Humantay Lake. He was incredibly supportive, encouraging everyone at their own pace and offering assistance when needed. Clearly, he genuinely cared about each of our comfort and enjoyment. His willingness to stop for rest breaks and take photos made the trek feel personal and tailored to our needs. In addition, Jenks acted as a true champion for each of us, motivating us where we struggled and celebrating our successes along the way. His encouragement helped us push through moments of fatigue, reminding us why we embarked on this adventure in the first place. Overall, Jenks is not just a tour guide; he’s a fantastic companion on and off the trail. If you want to experience the Sacred Valley and Cusco, we highly recommend seeking out Jenks for an unforgettable experience filled with knowledge, laughter, and unwavering support! During our trip to Rainbow Mountain, I accidentally left my purse, which contained my passport, at the lunch spot. I was understandably stressed, fearing the complications this could cause for the rest of our journey. However, what happened next was a testament to the incredible cooperation within the company. Jenkins coordinated with another tour guide in the company to bring it back to us in Cusco. This thoughtful and swift action saved us tremendous time and potential hassle, allowing us to continue enjoying our trip without further worry. It also gave us time to spend some time at a local craft brewery in Cusco with Raul and Jenks! Kantu Tours exceeded our expectations at every turn, and we couldn't recommend them more! Their commitment to excellent service, attention to detail, and genuine care for their clients made our journey unforgettable. From the seamless planning process to the outstanding guides and drivers, every aspect of our trip was carefully curated and executed. We felt supported and valued throughout our experience, which allowed us to immerse ourselves in the beauty and culture of Peru. If you're looking for a travel company that goes above and beyond, Kantu Tours is the perfect choice!

        Private Tour
We had an amazing visit to Rainbow Mountain on this private tour of Rainbow Mountain! Freddy (Krueger) was our tour guide and he made it so comfortable. He created a really fun, comfortable atmosphere and kept us safe on the mountain. We specifically booked this company because they carry oxygen in case the altitude sickness gets too intense. Freddy and his driver Walter picked my wife and I up from our hotel in Cusco in a clean comfortable car. Breakfast was simple but delicious and was included in the price, as described. After the drive up, Freddy allowed us to go at our own pace and we never felt rushed. He was constantly checking on how we felt, which making us feel very well taken care of. He is such a nice, fun person and it was great getting to know a little about him and his family. Overall it was a very fun day and we recommend this tour 10/10! Thanks Freddy!

Excelente experiencia!!!
