About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Caspette0 contributionsDay trip to Sacred Valley and beyondWe had the pleasure of a private tour with Alfonso and Alfredo to the fabulous sites for a full day. Their extensive knowledge was invaluable. Nothing was too hard for them. The tour avoided many of the crowds and took some of the off the beaten tracks to see things big tours would miss. It was a highlight of our trip.Written 22 January 2025
- Kelly L0 contributionsBest Guide and DriverAlfredo and his driver, Marco customized a Sacred Valley Tour that meet our interest and timeline. Alfredo is super knowledgeable and accommodating. We have had numerous tours and guides during our Peruvian adventures and we appreciated the care and attention that Alfredo provided. He is head and shoulders above the restWritten 29 October 2024

- Heartonsleevess0 contributionsGreat time!Alfredo and Marco picked us up from the train station and brought us to see some spectacular views of the salt mines and didn't rush us. He helped us with the translation when purchasing some souvenirs and car was spacious for us both. Would recommend others to also consider Alfredo's service.Written 5 September 2024
- G4090EVmichaelg0 contributionsPositive in every wayOur guide Alfredo was absolutely incredible! He did a great job explaining everything as we went, took plenty of time for photos and never made us feel rushed. I also definitely recommend a tour of this area. I had skipped it last time I was in Peru and some things are more impressive than Machu Picchu. Me and my wife had an awesome timeWritten 26 August 2024
- gcarr0ll0 contributionsAn unforgettable experience! An unforgettable experience! We took a full day tour of the Sacred Valley Maras Moray and the Salt Mines with Alfredo as our guide and driver. Alfredo was a very safe driver and a courteous and knowledgeable guide. The sites we saw were so awe-inspiring, often leaving us speechless, but Alfredo’s great depth of knowledge of both Inca and pre-Inca history and culture filled in any gaps where we may have had questions, had our brains been able to ask them. The altitude was high and Alfredo was sure to check on how we were doing regularly. The restaurant we stopped at offered a buffet with amazing options. All in all it was a truly spectacular tour that we would highly recommend - so much so that we plan to book additional tours with Alfredo before our time in Peru is up!Written 18 March 2024
- Culture006014537610 contributionsA Wonderful Day in the Sacred ValleyOur tour with Alfredo was above and beyond our expectations. - safakaleem0 contributionsGreat experienceAlfredo was wonderful! Picked us up right from our hotel in San Blas and took us to all the mentioned sites. It is a busy day objectively but it did not feel that way. In Chinchero we were able to see a very educational demonstration by the local Andean women about how Alpaca wool is processed, dyed using natural materials, and spun into various products. We also learned how to spot fake baby alpaca wool! We were able to shop in the adjoining store and ended up purchasing gifts for family members. We didn't feel pressured to buy at all. We then saw the ruins in Chinchero. The next stop was the Maras salt mines - really unique! We had the option to stop at a local shop to try some Maras salt which we did as well. Again no pressure to buy. Next, we went to Moray and saw 2 large farming terraces. The next stop was Ollantaytambo which boasted the temple of the sun! I learned a lot here about how the Incans were able to move such large stones, and learned about the unique spot that allowed the Incans and pre-incan civilizations to keep track of the solstices/equinoxes. For lunch we stopped at a delicious buffet with lots of veggie options. Next we headed to Pisac for the ruins there. Lastly, we made an optional stop at a silver shop - I learned about silver and semiprecious stones. No pressure to buy but it was an educational presentation and fun to look at the wares. We were finally dropped off back at our hotel. Alfredo has a lot of knowledge. He has a deep understanding of the local customs and culture and his pride for his heritage is so clear. We loved spending our day with him and highly recommend this tour to see all the big sacred valley sights in one day.Written 6 November 2023

- Safari7220050 contributionsAmazing tour of Sacred Valley in one day ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Hey - we are Tamir & Bri. We are a couple visiting from NYC. We just took Alfredo’s Sacred Valley tour yesterday and I’ve got to say - it was exceptional and he was exceptional. Alfredo was on time, and extremely knowledgeable and has a real passion for the sacred valley. (He’s been doing this 18 years, so he really knows a lot). We learnt a ton about the culture and saw a the majority of sites in the Sacred Valley in one day - without it feeling rushed in anyway. Alfredo was also incredibly patient when we wanted to stop and buy souvenirs, which was a good few times. I’d recommend this tour for anyone that wants to see the main sights of the Sacred Valley in a day and really know more about the culture - without it feeling rushed at all. After browsing a bunch of Sacred Valley tours, we came across this tour and it seemed to have majority positive feedback, so we decided to give it a shot. Really glad we did. Really the highlight of our trip to Peru so far. And we’d sincerely recommend this tour to anyone that wants to truly experience the sacred valley and it’s culture. (P.S - there were a ton more places we stopped than just the pictures we’ve uploaded. It truly was an incredible experience and you’ll see a lot)Written 12 August 2023
- 8GEM0 contributionsViator Rainbow Mountain - Daytime trekApologies upfront for changing tense a few times below. Your guides went over and above the call and took great care of everybody. I’m 67 and was slower than most of the group, but one of your guides was always nearby. NOTE: The two guides alternated and kept an eye on everyone in the group. I rented a horse for the round trip, and the guide negotiated it for me. I’d recommend the horse to anyone that is not sure if they could make it. The horse is led by local people…you just have to hold on to the saddle. The horse takes you most of the way, but you have to walk the last half kilometer or so which is the steepest part. Again, our guides stayed nearby the entire time. The climb is a little tougher than Machu Picchu mostly due to the altitude, but I’d definitely recommend this company and Rainbow Mountain Vs visiting another church or museum – If you can make it. The journey was spectacular and picturesque, Rainbow Mt. is something else. Be ready to take tons of pictures. It's a full day trip, whether you leave at 4:00am or take this one leaving at 8:00am. The roads were winding and bumpy, but our driver navigated them extremely well.Written 6 July 2023
- lisakC4281FP0 contributionsWonderful tour for a familyWe had a wonderful day with Willfredo. He did his best to make sure we saw all the sights despite having a short amount of time. He was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and had a good sense of humor. We appreciated that he allowed us to spend our limited time according to our preferences. Can't believe we comfortably saw so much in one day!Written 29 May 2023
- M9877YYjessicap0 contributionsA phenomenal tour guideInitially we had a tour round Qorichanka with Alfredo and he did such a great job that we contacted him to arrange a private day tour at a later date. As well as visiting four sites in the sacred valley, we also stopped off at a couple of artesanal workshops to learn more about the alpaca wool and also to find out more about the process of salt mining. Unlike other tours I’ve been on, these stops felt really relevant to learning more about the Quenchuan community and there was no pressure to purchase anything. Alfredo is really passionate and knowledgable, and was able to answer any question that we had. He was both our tour guide and driver, and also took lots of photos of us which was really helpful. All in all it was one of the best tours we’ve had and really recommend it!Written 26 May 2023
- RobG123450 contributionsExcellent, informative tour of the Sacred Valley. Would definitely recommend. We had an excellent tour with Alfredo around the sacred valley. We originally met him during a tour of Qorikancha and were so impressed we decided to book a sacred valley day tour with him. He picked us up from our accommodation right on time and took us in his comfy car to the first site, giving us interesting information on the way. The insights continued from site to site with small stops in between such as viewing spots, a place to learn about traditional textile production and a stop to taste products made with salt from the salt mines. The sites on the tour are amazing, with lots of variety and opportunities to learn about different aspects of the Incan empire and way of life. Alfredo is very knowledgeable, very friendly and provided us with just the right amount of information (he also has a great folder too with images etc to help explain things further). He was great at providing any answers to any questions we had too. You really need to do a tour to get the most of the Sacred Valley and I’d definitely recommend Alfredo and his company as the ones to go with.Written 26 May 2023

Alfredo was incredible! As a woman from America traveling with just one other friend, he made us feel so secure the entire time. Not only that, but his time management was perfect. We never felt rushed and yet we were always on perfect time for everything we wanted to do.
Because it was a private tour, Alfredo was able to curate the experience to be uniquely what we wanted. When we had more questions about a specific place and less in others, it was no problem. When we mentioned offhandedly that we wanted to try chicha, he made it happen.
We even stayed over 3 hours in Machu Picchu! It was very eye opening to see all the other tourists being rushed along the tour while we relaxed and truly took in all the sights and history. We had so many moments where we just sat with Alfredo and talked about anything that came to mind, not just what was covered in the tour.
Truly such a magnificent experience.
