- DayTrip6480270 contributionsA bucket list itemAn experience to remember for the rest of my life. Activities were fun and a bit crazy as well, in a good way. Every activity had a bit of wow-effect. Like you are thinking it's "just" cycling, rafting, hiking or ziplining. The heights, speeds and views make these activities absolute thrillers. I've done skydiving before and the feeling was definitely in the same level. During the this adventure, we had presentations of local produce (coffee, potatoes, natural make up) and interesting information about the incas/Machu Picchu. Finally reaching Machu Picchu feels like a massive achievement after all the days of adventure. A big thanks goes to Jhony for being an amazing tour guide. It was an honour.Written 2 February 2025
- Jonathan N0 contributionsA memorable adventure.Well organised expedition. Biking rafting zip lining great experiences and the jungle trail was the best way to really appreciate the incredible surroundings. And what an adventure it was. Machu Pichu does not disappoint and all the sweeter after climbing the trail to get there. Johnny our guide was friendly, informative and was always there to help if needed. Great guy. Great memories. Highly recommendedWritten 2 February 2025
- 305jishav0 contributionsHighly recommend! We did a private tour of the Sacred Valley with our guide, Stiven. Our coordinator Flor and Stiven were incredibly accommodating. We weren’t feeling well that morning and had to adjust plans last minute, and they handled everything seamlessly. Despite it being Christmas Eve! Stiven learns history and his deep knowledge and passion for history shone through, making the experience unforgettable. The food they arranged was great. The weavers of Chinchero were amazing! Altogether we had an amazing trip.Written 20 January 2025
- 305jishav0 contributionsTop Notch Service and an Unforgettable Adventure!I had an amazing experience on this tour! Flor, the coordinator, was absolutely incredible. She went above and beyond to accommodate several of our needs and always reassured us with her texts saying, "I'm here 24x7 with any help", and she truly meant it. Our tour guide, Eduardo, was equally outstanding. His deep knowledge, active lifestyle, and genuine connection to the culture made the journey incredibly enriching. It was a joy to learn about the heritage and explore the breathtaking grounds of Machu Picchu with him. The hike although not easy, was enjoyable under his guidance, and his clear instructions made navigating back effortless. Flor and Eduardo also arranged special transportation for us so we could be dropped off directly at our hotel in Cusco rather than the center, which was a thoughtful touch. I would absolutely recommend this tour, especially to those who want the flexibility to set their own pace. The rates were incredibly reasonable for the top-notch service we received. Thank you, Flor and Eduardo, for making this an unforgettable experience!Written 20 January 2025
- H6718LSmarissas0 contributionsIncredible Experience with JHIMMYThis has been by far my most favorite excursion experience that I’ve ever done. I got the PRIVILEGE of touring with Jhimmy and he was absolutely incredible - so knowledgeable about Incan history and culture, easy to talk to, so fun, my personal photographer, and so much more. I not only learned so much, but I had a great time and laughed lots. Highly 10000% recommend this tour (especially with Jhimmy) for an adventurous journey to the amazing Machu Picchu!!!Written 19 January 2025
- joshandallyj0 contributionsChoose A Different Company to Avoid HeadachesIf you're booking the Inca Trail go with a different company. Working with Flor was a NIGHTMARE for my family. Story: My husband and I had booked the Inca trail significantly in advance (5 months) of our trip, along with my parents and sister and brother-in-law. We payed $700 up-front. We noted that that cancellation policy stated that the first half that you pay in advance is non-refundable, which we understood, but that if someone cancels more than 48 hours in advance of the trek they need not pay the second half. Anyway, we cancel my husband's portion due to work a month in advance. Suddenly, Flor tells me that I can't go on the trip unless I pay the second portion for my husband, an additional $400. I remind her of the cancellation policy, which she states has all along said that I have to pay the whole price up front. Confused, my husband and I looked at the cancellation policy again (my husband is an attorney), which states you need not pay the second half unless you cancel 48 hours in advance. In addition, if they normally had people pay everything upfront (I believe she was bluffing to try to extort money), the website would not have had an option to pay only half initially *and* stated the policy for paying the second half so clearly. I was a bit upset, but still wanted to go on this trip with my family due to the many costs that I can't recoup (flight tickets, hotels, excursions, etc.). I show up at the office to argue my case, and Flor continues to deny me the ability to attend the trek without paying for my husband's costs. I anticipate at this point that if they have me pay for two people, surely I will be treated as two people, with double the amount of weight carried for me by porters, double the sleeping bags/pads, a full tent to myself (a tent was promised to each couple for the trek). WRONG. When the porters are taking our things the first morning, I note that I have been allotted the same amount of weight to the porters as everyone else, meaning I have to carry additional items in my daypack. I was initially fine with that, thinking that at least I would have a private tent and two sleeping bags to cozy up into when I slept. At the end of the first day of the trek we finally get into camp, and I see that only two tents have been erected for five people. Confused, I ask where the tent is that I was supposed to share with my husband. They respond that I would be sharing a small, quaint tent with my parents. Now I ask: would you like to share a small tent with your parents as a 27-year-old after they and you got sweaty after a full day of hiking, with zero privacy, whilst you were on your menstrual cycle and hoping to have a place to unwind, take pills to get rid of cramps, and to be able to change and have a moment to yourself? Nope. You wouldn't. Me either. My idea of fun is not spending 24 hours a day with my parents when I'm tired and exhausted. At the thought of having to spend the night with my parents I burst into frustrated tears. Surprised, the porters and our guide asked me what was wrong. I responded that I had payed double the typical hiker (against the company's policies) and expected to at least have a tent to myself, as I had been promised. Kindly yet begrudgingly, they scrambled and were able to find me a tent in the local town within three hours. But I certainly was not treated as the two full Inca Trek prices I had paid. Flor had stated the Inca Trail permits, train tickets, and Machu Picchu tickets as a reason that we had to pay the additional second half for my husband. I have calculated that ALL tickets and permits came out to under $140 per person. Meaning, they were still making money off of my husband's initial payment of $350. I figured that they had bought all of these in advance. Nope. While I think that they *did* buy the permits for Machu Picchu and the Inca Trail for him, they didn't buy everything in advance. When we got to the train ride back to the hotel from Machu Picchu I was looking forward to sitting with my family. Unfortunately, the seat setup has four people facing each other. Thus, my parents and sister and brother-in-law were in the same set of four. Well, at least I would have my husband's extra seat to spread out a little in my section, right? Again, WRONG. They hadn't even paid for a seat for him, meaning that Flor had lied to my face that they bought the train ticket in advance. I ended up sitting with an amicable group, however certainly missed the additional space that had been promised to me. I felt throughout this experience that I had been extorted for money without consideration for me and my experience and in utter disregard for their own cancellation policies. I already felt sad that my husband couldn't come, and they not only rubbed it in my face, but didn't treat me as the full two people I had paid for. Given that many of the porters are hired the same day the trek begins, they had plenty of advance notice to adjust their crew size, and did not need the additional funds they took from me. I recommend you seek a different tour company (one with a toilet tent! And who carry additional weight for you on the trek). I loved our guide Jose, and adored seeing the fun ruins and sights! And all the llamas. But long story short: you could have a better time with a more moral company that actually follows their policies. Choose wisely!Written 5 January 2025
- petersB1487PH0 contributionsThe best trip of my life! This was one of the best trips of my life. Vidal, our tour guide, was the best. He made sure we were well accommodated, ensured our spirits were high during the rainy season, and made sure we had as much fun as possible. The trek was challenging but the scenery is worth it! This trek is the best way to experience the best that Peru has to offer. Highly recommended!Written 2 January 2025

We really enjoyed all the activities and the accomodation along the way, especially the eco lodge on the first night. We loved circuit 2 at Machu Picchu and Johnny finished the tour with a fabulous insight into the history. Would highly recommendWritten 20 November 2024
- 121kalinaw0 contributionsJimmy is the best!We really enjoyed the experience, everything was prepared and we get to know the culture of Incas and pre-incas not following the most touristic ways. Our guide was the guy who magically took us on amazing adventure and gave us lots of coca leaves! We highly recommend hiking with Jimmy(!) if you want to feel welcomed and just dive into great moments.Written 28 October 2024
- moiramB9091MV0 contributionsWonderland of peruWe did the 19 day Wonderland of Peru. The country has a lot to offer: beautiful landscapes, history of ancient civilizations and one of the best gastronomy I've ever come across. However our holiday was made even more wonderful by our tour guide Manuel who's really one in a million!!! He is passionate about his job and his country and it really comes across. His charm and beautiful smile helped made our trip unforgettable and I would definitely recommend Manuel. He is an asset to Conde Travel.Written 26 October 2024
- G5632VSstefanr0 contributionsSalkantay 5D/4N with JoseFrom 17.10 - 22.10 we have been on the Salkay Trek in a group of 4 people together with our Guide Jose. It has been an incredible trek, with Jose organizing everything up to the very last detail. He explained us a lot about the Peruvian history, Inka traditions as well as mountains and plants on the way. What made it even more special was that we have been in a small group of 4 people, contrary to other organizations. Big thanks also to our “Mago de cocina” Esteban and the free Peruvian cooking lessons we got along the way. Especially the vegetarian variety has been outstanding. Overall we can more than recommend booking Salkantay Trek with Jose, 10/10 👍🏼Written 23 October 2024
- mariemL5150JS0 contributionsSalkantay’s feedbackThe Salkantay trek was an amazing expérience, hard but the beauty of the landscape is well worth the effort. José was always smiling, very pleasant and motivating for the day ahead. He completely immersed us in the Peruvian and Questchua world. The accommodation was very good and so was the food!Written 22 October 2024
