This experience into the Andes, was spectacular!!! We had done a trip to the northeast, and this was to the southeast, and was totally different scenery and experience. IT WAS AMAZING, the different scenery and experiences are a real memory Our driver and guide, Diego was fantastic. Yes, he was both driver and guide and was soooooo good 1) he was an excellent driver, very careful and cautious, we felt safe 100% of the time 2) he was super informative and commentated along the way, geology, climate, geography, social aspects 3) there were some 'prickly' (incredibly rude) other passengers, and he was excellent at smoothing things out 4) did i mention he was a very safe driver :)

Coke is a wonderful guide.the Cajon de Maipo is very beautiful place to visit. Nice to see nature. But Embalse el Yeso is more the beautiful. This place you must visit to see the lake. I recommend the tour.

The sites were really nice, we had good weather and enjoyed the places we wanted to see. I had trouble understanding the guide, his English wasn't very clear and this tour was bilingual. The bus was a bit squishy since we got stuck at the back. Overall we enjoyed the day and saw the places we wanted to see.

1) They forgot about me and almost didn't pick me up. I waited until 8:45pm the night before and they had not messaged me with transportation details so I sent them a message. When they didn't respond at 9pm I messaged Viator support to notify them of the situation so I would have more evidence for when they didn't pick me up the following morning. Viator added those details in my booking just in case they didn't and sent an email to Discover Santiago asking why they haven't shared details with me. Wouldn't you know about 10 minutes after Viator yelled at them I get a message on Whatsapp saying "we didn't see your phone number but now it works!" Lies. You forgot about me. But details were shared after. 2) The "tour" is not conducted by Discover Santiago. After the above was fixed I got a message from the driver who was using a completely different WhatsApp business account. The driver was nice but didn't speak a word of English. We used a different tour guide at the equipment rental as a translator. 3) This is advertised as a scenic tour with multiple stops (as you can see in my screenshot of the itinerary of what to expect). That is not true. It is simply transportation for either Farallones family park or Colorado ski resort. We didn't stop at the other spots listed and entrance to Farallones was not included as advertised. I was taken to Colorado resort and basically wondered around the parking lot for 3.5 hours. As I bought a sightseeing tour, I had no interest in skiing. The driver did make an effort for me by picking me up after those 3.5 hours to take me to a town 10 minutes down the road. Nice gesture but there was nothing there. A much smaller ski resort and only hotels I didn't have access to as a non guest. This stop was a lot more boring than the 3.5 hours at Colorado. 4) Now that I've been I understand why no company offers a sightseeing tour. Because it's basically impossible to do. The only things to do are skiing or the other activities at Farallones family park. Doesn't matter what company. Those are literally the only things to do. Because this was falsely advertised I gave it 1 star. It's merely transportation and there are significantly cheaper transportation options.

The tour itself was lovely, and the vineyard was beautiful. The transport to and from the venue however was a massive downside as our driver was using not one but two phones while driving - texting, calling and sending voice notes for the entire journey with a phone in each hand on multiple occasions. She was also driving very much over the speed limit so neither me nor my partner felt comfortable in the car. Would definitely visit the vineyard again but would not go with this company

Everything was well organized from the beginning to the end. The reservation, pick up and return were easy and well done on time. I enoyed the beauty of the place and the clear explanations of the guide Andreas. We also had also an extra stop at a waterfall. The optional buffet had good quality and variety of food. The farewell cocktail was appreciated by the whole group. Absolutely worth the price.

Wonderful scenery! Twisting roads all the way up, very skilled bus driver and your guide. This is a tour not to be missed!

This was my first time to Chile and I’m so glad I booked in this tour. Diego was our tour guide and he was great! He also provided us with English commentary as our Spanish isn’t that great. The coastal side of Chile through Valparaiso & Vina del Mar is amazing, so colourful and amazing old buildings. Lots of opportunities to take photos and ended with a yummy lunch. Would recommend 10/10 good money for value.

When you said picnic everyone assumed it was a picnic. Not a few chips thrown in a basket salami with cheese cubes with wine. Also tired of the scheduled lunch stop for an added cost.

I can recommend this trip as a visit to the andes mountains, a walk in the valle nevada ski resort and nibbles with wine at a restaurant balcony in farellones watching the sunset. having confirmed with the company that we wished to be on a spanish-speaking trip, it was a disappointment to find the company had put us on a Portuguese one. However our lovely guide, Tomas, did his best to explain some highlights to us at the stops!

Edison our guide was very attentive and letting us know what to expect. He was informative all along the way and of course in Valparaiso. He told us what cost there is for different things, and letting us plan ahead for eating, need for a toilet, walking, lunch and so on. We had a perfect day.

Excelent trip!! we stayed at the Ritz carlton in Santiago and used VIP travel with association of the Ritz, highly recommend their driver Alejandro, The best!! we used Him for the 4 days we were there and took several tour with Hima s our guide, private and very good price!!

We booked the English language tour but were informed by the tour operator only a day or so beforehand that they might not have an English language guide for us. We decided to go anyway because we figured the wine would taste good regardless. As it turns out, the winery owners speak English and they led the English speaking guests on tour. We had a great time and would highly recommend Alyan Winery! Maybe just confirm with your tour operator ahead of time for the language of your tour.

Even when the start was difficult (picked up by the Spanish van, instead of the English one), it could be solved fast and the rest was pretty amazing! Gracias!
